@@zardportugalI'm sure the Africa Twin would gain tremendously from a tune as well. To have full power mode would be awesome and the rest of the modes be factory settings
I had one for 3yrs. Very easy and comfortable to ride. I traded it in for a '24 Tuono Factory. I found the DCT makes you lazy on clutch control. I had to relearn to ride a motorcycle after upgrading. So a good starter bike.
How does the tune affect DCT shift points with the increased engine rev range? Do you have to use manual mode to keep it past the original shift points?
Hey bro Chris Moore bro..if you put a bug on wheels you will tune it to a t and burn the life out of it..your gift if a gift of your life..be safe and take care..You just know how to make me listen and smile ✌👌👏💪
Really wish you’d figure out a tune for the Harley nightster. From the factory, it has a 115 mile an hour speed limiter and makes somewhere close to 90 hp. I would love to see what you could do with it because the bike is a blast, but it desperately needs a tune.
What would that have to do with the ECU? If a dealer suspects the ECU is the cause of a problem, they would just overwrite the tune, trying to update it.
Chris why you dont offer ktm tuning? Is there something diffeent about ktm ecu? I'd like you to spice up my 1290. Maybe I can come by this October when I get vacation time again
How does the refresh of ECU affect the riding mode that are available on the bike? You get the same power curve on all modes or only on the Sports mode?
Super sick that you’ve cracked the DCT now too! I’m definitely left with some questions after this though... This bike is bone stock and ended at 85hp, while the manual model had a full cat-less exhaust and high flow air filter and made 88hp. Do you have any thoughts on why the bike with full supporting mods only made an additional 3hp? Also, the starting hp figures were vastly different. The manual model started around 81hp while the DCT started at only 73hp. Am I correct in assuming most of that initial 8hp difference is from the supporting mods that were on the manual? And if so, why once tuned did the bikes end up with only a 3hp difference? Is there a big difference in the way they were tuned? I’d love to hear your thoughts on all this! Thanks dude 🤘🏻
It doesn't have ram-air intakes like sport bikes. The bike can breathe out great, but it can't inhale very well. Also, it could have been hotter/more humid when the full system bike was tested.
Have to know how this reflash interacts with various transmission shift modes. It appears you did all your work with trans in "sport" mode. Is this correct?
The trans is handled by its own dedicated separate ECU. It didn't get touched in the flash. As far as the main ECU goes, it is really no different from manual trans.
Wondering if youd know the answer to a question i got . If i got pops and bangs on an ecu flash for a 2024 gsxr 750, is that on decel all the time no matter what? Or can it just be only when i give 2% throttle ? If its all the time, i wouldnt get it, but if it would be ONLY/mostly on throttle crack during decel, id get it. Any info appreciated. Getting full exhaust soon and was gonna hit yall up for my ecu!

It does have a separate ECU for the trans, but there has not been a need to tune it. Technically, it's feasible for Woolich to add it, but there would need to be enough interest.
Yamaha BMW KTM all bringing out automatics so Honda ahead of the game, their new E-clutch is on the cbr and other Honda bikes are getting the system. The rebel runs a de tuned 1100 engine and so only needed the one front disc I would not trust the front brakes at anything over 100mph unless you could fit dual disks like on the NT1100 or the Africa Twin

Automatics always produce less horse power than an automatic. You loose horse power in the automatic transmission fluid.
