These were delicious. I didn't have any milk only heavy cream so I substituted the 2 cups of milk for 1 cup of heavy cream and 1 cup of sparkling water.
I did this recipe and those waffles were AMAZING! I'm so hyper about your cooking, thanks over and over again ❤
I have a 3 in 1 sandwich maker with waffle plates, and this recipe works really well. Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. Love it!
How much approx time it takes per waffle ?
@farhasumra8560 I didn't time it, but it takes a bit of time, maybe 5-7 minutes, I think it's slower than a proper waffle maker
Thank you I made this myself for my moms birthday I’m on the younger side and I love baking do a easier recipe was fun to make
is that stranger things i see? new sub to u future soulmate
For one batch:
Dry:
270g (2 1/4 cup) All Purpose Flour
3/4 tsp. Salt
1 Tbsp. Baking Powder
50g (1/4 cup) Sugar
Wet
2 Large Eggs
2 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
113g (1/2 cup) Melted Butter
2 Cups Milk
Then Mix Together Lightly
Just made it and it came out DELICIOUS 🤤 THANK YOU ❤️❤️❤️
I got a waffle maker from goodwill, works great, but they were super dense. I even looked up 2 different recipes, looks like the recipes wanted thicker batter, you made it much thinner. I'm going to try this and hopefully, it works out great
Today I bought some frozen waffles, and it said "2 packs inside"
*I knew he wasn't dead.*
It took me a minute... but then I got it. Hilarious!

I just made your recipe using gluten free flour and dairy free milk and butter. It tastes amazing and they were super fluffy and crispy on the outside too. Thanks for sharing this.
You know damn well this man sings "Whisk Whisk Whisk" when no ones around lol
Thank you so much for this recipe John. I have tried different waffle recipes for my machine that haven't been great and being Australian we don't eat a lot of waffles anyway so no one just has a waffle recipe, until now! This one was great, they came out perfectly, even the suggested recipe with my machine didn't give anywhere near as good a waffle as yours so thank you.
These look absolutely delicious, John. Greetings from Scotland 🏴 Have a lovely day everyone 🌻

For the best crisp waffles always add a couple of tablespoons of cornstarch. No more limp waffles

Hey, I almost forgot - I have a waffle maker! Cool! A question (and I am sure most chefs get asked this): Seeing as how cooking/baking and uploading all these wonderful things you make to this channel must be a full-time job.... do you do all the cooking every day for you and your family - or are there other budding chefs in your household who help out and/or let you put your feet up occasionally?
Made these this morning and everyone loved them. They're all that you said they'd be, crispy and delicious!
I remember you said you were so excited to make waffles in your pancake recipe video :D So excited that you made waffles, definitely going to try it out! :)
Love this recipe! I made double batch right off!!! Why not make double if you can freeze them? I wish I found this recipe faster! Love your channel❤
