    I'm listening.... The pump is building to shut off pressure quicker than you can use the volume, because of the smaller out put gun.

    • @thepressurewasherschannel9109
      @thepressurewasherschannel9109  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes… when using a different gun with smaller tip you must adjust the bypass so the pressure doesn’t shut pump off

      @@thepressurewasherschannel9109 well a watched the video of the rebuild. It was mostly in real time except the the very last part. I figure, YOU could rebuild it in 30 minutes and have it back on the truck.
      Okay, I'm interested. I'm building and haven't decided witch way to go yet. I really like the ar 45 or 40 , but I see a ton that could go wrong. I like the simplicity of your whole system. I know there's nothing really cheap about it. It's also in the eye of the beholder. I'm thinking you built and designed the whole truck. I haven't seen all yet but I'm watching.

    Excellent explanation! Thanks for that. I have a similar setup as yours: 1hp Gould’s BP, remote controller, proportioner and bypass regulator. I do not have a pressure switch as of yet. One thing i do is send my chemicals thru a Flojet 7gpm air diaphragm pump, where i can control chemical usage and only use my BP for rinsing. I use an electrical valve to turn soap on/off and and another electric valve for water hose direct rinsing. Each pump feeds chemical and or rinse water to a brass y connector then onto my single 5/8” chemical hose. This way my expensive Gould’s BP does not see chemicals (I do have a 3 way ball valve where I can use my BP for chemical delivery if I want to) and the air diaphragm pump controls chemical delivery much better than a booster pump. This method works good for my type of cleaning as all I clean here in Ontario is cedar roofs. Appreciate your in depth videos.

    So if I understand this, If the gun is wide open then the valve is shut off with no bypass, and when you change nozzles you must have some bypass to account for the back pressure? Where did you get the grey adjustmnt knob or valve? thanks kev

    Hi Great videos! I have a question about this subject. I have the 7 gpm booster and installed a pressure switch, no bypass. Have 1/2' mixing valves also. I bought a 12v 1" electric ball valve, it's reduced on mixing side. So for the rinsing side to pump I ran 1" hose to pump to get more volume. Can get the pressure switch to shut off on running soap side but when switched to rinse side pump switch won't shut off. Could this be because of the water volume difference or air leak, no leaking water.. Using the same tip cleaning and rinsing. Have ordered a red gun. Many Thanks!

    • @thepressurewasherschannel9109

      You have no idea what you’re talking about, if the pump is in bypass more than five minutes it will explode do excessive heat buildup, this is not one of those Goulds 5 gpm toys

      @@thepressurewasherschannel9109 I understand what you are saying the pump cavitation will happen and the water will heat up thats why you must insure the PRV open just enough watch your pressure gauge when you come off the gun you will see it jumping thats the pump shaft....

    Could this work on your pump?
    SQUARE D 9013GHG2J30 and mtg-22-pcv then fumble around with how it connects to regulator and pressure gauge.

    I am surprised you can get away with those 3/4" chem line proportioning valves with the amount of flow your booster pushes and pulls. You don't have any performance loss at 1% on the SH?
