I like switch but the lack of apps is frustrating. No Netflix. Hulu is for USA only. No browser. No Disney. No messaging. Like common it's 2022. We need more apps!

@@andresalonso637 yea but that's the problem. most Nintendo users grew up on nes , super Nintendo and n64 . people aged 20-35 still play Nintendo and is probably a large percentage of Nintendo users. I think Nintendo needs to understand that adults like games to and if we want out kids to have access to apps well then it should be optional. not predetermined

if it doesn’t work... after u add the dns try to connect to the internet and it should say it failed and automatically take u to the page

If you disconnect from the internet and want to reconnect to the network again you have to set your DNS to automatic again then set it back to manual

The ability to browse should be right out of the box instead of having to jump some hoops just to surf the net even the psp allowed the player access to the net out of the box.

Well PSP and Nintendo are different things

@@3ernx3 the point being that the psp is 17 year old tech and had access to the internet back in 2005 in addition to blutooth capabilities. The switch is by far much more powerful than at psp yet nintendo didn't have the insight to add something as basic as internet access to their console/ handheld hybrid.

For those who say it dont work, after following the steps in the video, do not go to Nintendo news, instead go back to your Settings>Internet>(Your Wifi)>Connect to the internet again. It has been working like this for me and my brother. Sorry if this didn't help

Even more insane, is the fact that this info, and this whole topic altogether, is not much wider known information because it could have been very useful, and I'm sure a lot of people who have used this feature, too. I know this is 2 months late, but there's some big risks. Dns' have a chance to be hacked, and if they're hacked you can be as well. Not just that if you're on someone elses dns they can mess with your stuff. Idk if this is safe or not but I say be careful...
