This was completely awesome to watch. Great job!!
Hi! I am watching you from Portugal, I am currently at the beginning of the pregnancy but already educating myself. I love the way you cook healthy and simple recipes and show how you improvise and save time. Thank you, I’m going to keep watching you 😊 beijinhos
Love you guys ❤
Its so nice to find another mom who is making her own foods and doing a sort of "combo" feeding strategy - was wondering if I was the only one on planet earth but we just did what worked best for us! Definitely loving this video!
This video was so well done - great recipes, easy to follow and I love that it focuses on making baby food that tastes good! 😊
Love The Videos Nikole! ❤
Loved your 6 to 8 One Hour Baby Food Meal Prep video Nikole ❤❤❤❤❤
Yay! Thank you!
LOVE YOUR STYLE ❤❤❤❤ taking notes!! I’m 10 weeks with my first looking up to you in sooo many ways ❤❤❤
Yay! Thank you!
Thank you so much Nikole! I've used so many of your tips and recipes. You're such a gem! X
You're so welcome!
Perfect timing! My baby is 6mo and we are starting solids. Love the video and definitely gonna give it a try. I also have your baby cookbook and am planning in do some of those recipes as well 😊
I’ve always frozen homemade baby food in breast milk bags. That way I can just easily put in fridge to defrost and warm water to heat.
The only thing I don’t like it heating it up in the plastic. I would recommend thawing it in the fridge overnight and transferring it into glass to reheat
Oakley is so cute!
The baby is adorable 🥰
Amazing mommy
And yummy
Baby food
He is going to love 💕
Thank you so much
You’re such a good mom making homemade baby food!
Aw Wow, thank you
Just wanted to pop in and show you some love!!
Haven’t been watching much this past year. I’m struggling with infertility again trying to conceive 2nd child. So this type of beautiful content has been harder to watch.
I’m sorry, you are doing great and you are a fantastic mom!
I totally get it and I’m sorry for your difficult journey. Sending love to your family 🤍
@@HealthNutNutrition Thank you so much!
@@HealthNutNutrition We got a positive test!!
I’m binging your videos! I also added toddler cookbook and baby cookbook to my registry!!!
You’ll always be my favorite TH-camr 🫶
I think all these things are really complicated for 6 months. Firstly they need to taste pure veggies or fruits without adding or mixing things, it is important to prevent unexpected allergic reaction and baby needs to taste all things to understand their real taste.anyways they are really healthy for 8-9 months and Freezing don't case losing nutrition. I will try all these stuffs. Oakley is always really thin when comparing other babys, but every babys are different and special.
Did I miss the video of sage potty training? I am currently trying to train my 2 and 1/2 for potty and was hoping to share your experience.
You look great 😊
Thank you! You too!
I always wanted to do baby-led weaving but now that I’m going to start feeding my baby I’m scared of choking risks…. I’ve been giving her purees in a spoon but your idea is brilliant!! I feel like it’s the perfect in between that I need for now! Thank you so much! This is perfect timing! ❤ (BTW our babies were born in the same date on 2023 😊!!)
I made big quantities than froze them in ice-cube trays. Once one tray of cubes was frozen I would put all the cubes in a bag. When my babies started eating solids they would eat one heated cube. Later two. And so on. Really practical. Of course they ate a of freshly made food too but liked having some on stock.
We did that too! And with more cubes we could mix and match veggies and grains.
Leafy veggies are only good iron sources if paired with vitamin C! Otherwise not as bio available. Livers, bone marrow, other organ meats are amazing sources of bio available iron! Thanks for this video ❤
Fantastic recipe! 😍 Thanks for sharing, LET'S STAY CONNECTED 🍽🍴
Where do you buy your bones for the bone broth? Are they organic?
Your baby and u are beautiful, too❤
Do you introduce all those individual ingredients alone for allergy reasons?
Im only 23 weeks pregnant with my first, but defo took advantage of your code and got the baby cook book - I am so worried about what the heck to feed the small one when they start weaning, i feel like I gotta get my head around it all sooner rather than later!
Congrats and so happy to hear 🥰 I was super nervous with sage and now it feels like second nature
how do you avoid freezer burn? 😊 thanks
Airtight container or thick silicone works for us. I also try to consume it within a month
Thank you for the reminder to not take feedings solids so serious. I’m a first time mom trying to navigate everything and have found myself getting caught up in the purée vs. blw thing. It has become anxiety inducing recently. My baby is almost 8 months and I have tried blw style where you give them a big piece of something and he near about chokes every time. He has a very sensitive gag reflex and reflux so makes eating solids nerve racking for mamma. I’ve now been doing it like you with more purées but self feeding. I still get in my mind about him learning the skill of chewing but not letting it being a stressful experience for me and baby. Any advice?
I think that is normal. Initially wanted to do blw and quickly went to purees because of gag reflex/chocking. Purees were great and I gradually started giving him some soft solids like avocado or mango as he grew up and then harder stuff. Don't rush, your baby will be just fine
Inspiration 😊 The only thing I think I'd skip is beatroot! As it'll stain like nothing else 😂 I'm careful eating pickled beatroot . . .bubba would not be careful aha! You're braver than I am!
You’d be surprised! It came right out of the highchair cushion
@HealthNutNutrition oooo okay! May give it a shot then - on a sunny day, we can eat outside to minimise a bit of the splash backs 😊
Hey what is Matt's yt link? I cannot find him
If you search Matthew Varga he should pop up!
No water added to simmer the happy poops fruits?
Yes there’s water! Full recipe can be downloaded on the blog link in the info box
Are you using all fresh breastmilk for these recipes? Because otherwise you can’t thaw frozen and re-thaw I read? 🤷♀️
The coupon code isn’t working?
It should I just checked it and it’s working on my end
@@HealthNutNutrition I’m trying to purchase the cookbook bundle (baby healthnut and toddler healthnut) but I keep getting an error message indicating the coupon code “Happy” is invalid.
Don’t explode that’s why I’m scared of the pressure cooker
I was half joking but I know what you mean 😆
Why Ceylon cinnamon?
The regular one I believe is called Cassi cinnamon which when consumed a lot can be toxic. I can’t remember exactly but you can google it. My mom told me a whole thing about it one time and now I only buy Ceylon
Cassia cinnamon contains a chemical called coumarin, which can be harmful to the liver. Some cassia cinnamon products contain high levels of this substance. It is possibly unsafe when taken in doses larger than 6 grams daily for a long period of time. There are lots of articles on the web.
@@HealthNutNutritionvery interesting to know. We use cinnamon in oatmeal every single morning in this house!
Where can you buy the Ceylon Cinnamon. I've only seen organic Saigon Cinnamon.
Mushrooms and chia seeds are not recommended for babies under 1 year. I don’t understand why you freeze the food for such a little baby who should eat freshly cooked food.
Yes , my health nurse told me this too I make my babbies food fresh every day its really not that difficult but I do freeze my own broth as it makes life easier. I think thats why she freezes everything so its easier as she works outside of being a working mum.
I have followed this account for over 2 years and always froze my baby food from fresh so it was easier and my baby is so healthy- there is nothing wrong with it or unsafe
You know instead of hating on frozen food you can commend her for spending the time to make healthy homemade foods for her little baby!
@@rmkd0020 it's not hate, just a statement. yes, she makes healthy food for the child, which she freezes, which means that fresh food loses all its nutrients, plus freezing food is dangerous for the baby's small and underdeveloped stomach, which is just getting used to solid food. Given her job, she should know that certain foods do not belong in the refrigerator, let alone the freezer, such as sweet potatoes (which are stored in a dark and dry place). #justsaying
Pre soaked chia seeds and mushrooms are fine for babies from 6 months onwards. It's recommended to wash them. That's for the UK, maybe it's different where you're from?
