When I make homemade chicken noodle soup, I freeze the soup without noodles. (Chicken, veggies and broth). When we want to have soup we thaw, bring to boil and then add the noodles. The noodles are not soggy and overcooked this way.
Thanks for reminding me of what I used to do 55 years ago when I was working, my husband was in school and there were no microwaves to prepare quick and nutritious meals. I would cook on a Sunday for the whole month and freeze it all in my huge chest freezer. We always had great meals when we came home from work and school. It’s so nice to watch you teaching new generations how to make it work for today’s families.
I am a Mom of 3, I just delivered a baby on December 18, 2023. I started freezing meals by 2023 Thanksgiving all the way to my delivery. It's now May 2024 and I am still eating from my freezer. I spent the best 5 golden first week with my brand new baby without worrying about what's for dinner. I am glad I did prepare a lot of freezer meals for postpartum. I pray you have a safe delivery. The best decision I ever made before baby got here
You can totally leave the tops on your strawberries when you put them in smoothies. It’s like adding spinach. Just make sure they are really clean. And the pineapple cores get blended up just fine in a high powered blender. I’ll do that or save them to second ferment my kombucha
I've been making ahead breakfast burritos somewhat regularly since having my baby since they're so quick to reheat from frozen in the microwave and easy enough to eat one handed while nursing! I found a good trick is to let all the filling components cool down before combing and wrapping them to freeze so they don't come out soggy once reheated.
I use a muffin scoop (also known as an ice cream scoop!) to quickly get batter into the muffin cups. It's less messy and all of the muffins come out the same size.
I use unsweetened applesauce in place of oil in muffins and they always turn out great! I have to eat gluten free, and still works well. Love your videos!😊❤
I’m new canning & freezing 65 yrs. Young and enjoying my new hobby . You are so great & thoroughing . Thank you & I will definitely be looking at your channel & bragging on you.Have a blessed day.
For smoothies I use frozen fruit to save money. I would also use high performance blender to pre-blend the paste, and when we eat we just add water or milk and use a smaller easier to clean blender. Saves tons of time and money
I love your videos. I get inspired so much. I make the breakfast burritos and freeze them also. I just wrap mine each in parchment paper and then put a bunch in a gallon size freezer bag. Then I pull a couple out the night before and put them in the refrigerator. The next day I just put them in the microwave for 90seconds to 2mins. Or you can put them in the open on a baking sheet (in the parchment paper) keeps the cheese from leaking out in either your microwave or oven.
love that breakfast prep and muffins looks delicious! I have no small kids but boy would that save me time and $. Thanks, I will try those two recipes. Thanks for all the details too.
I have to say I absolutely love your videos! There is something about your voice and aesthetic of your videos that is very relaxing that I find myself just playing your video in the background while I'm working to get meal ideas and inspiration!
I make breakfast burritos for my freezer all the time too! I usually add reindeer sausage or breakfast sausage to mine. I wrap them in parchment paper so my husband can easily heat them up in the microwave at work.
I just found you over this video and will definitely watch more. Thanks for all the tips. I'm all into meal prepping and will try your recipes and ideas
Thanks for the recipe for the muffins can’t wait to try it. When I take my breakfast wrap from the freezer I place my wrap on a paper towel and roll it up before I put it in the microwave this helps to keep it dry so it’s not so wet from the ingredients.
Instead of using foil to wrap the burritos, i place them directly into a gallon freezer bag and place the bag in the freezer. I then take out however many burritos I want to warm up and either microwave or heat in the air fryer.
Omg! I just made GF Blackberry muffins and they are soooo good. I subbed 1 C oat flour and 1 C Bob's 1-1 baking flour. And, the coconut oil from Costco and maple. I had to immediately freeze them or they would've been GONE!! Teenagers be eatin'!!! The namaste flour from Costco is good too. I've been using the Costco rotisserie for the chicken soup for ease. Still really good. And the secret ingredients for my soup: a pinch of dill and ginger. Thanks for having healthier, budget conscious batch items. Other channels are full of less desirable items..... if ya know what I mean! 😉 God bless and much love! ❤
A standing freezer that looks like a fridge is a game changer! Flat pack as much as possible, CLEAR containers, labels and dates on masking tape or labels is helpful. You can also freeze jars on the shelves or in the door for extra space saving, just be careful to leave room for liquids to expand in the jar as they freeze.
Thank you for sharing your recipes.❤ The breakfast burritos look delicious and so convenient to have them ready in the freezer. Take care and God bless.❤❤
Thank you for sharing this video. Next time when the noddles are added, make sure that the broth is boiling before adding the noddles to get the perfect texture.

Awesome video - I loved everything but the soup was the recipe I most wanted to try. I really appreciate your attempts to make everything healthy,; so many bulk-prep videos use processed foods that I wouldn’t dream of feeding to my family.
Your blueberry muffins look delicious! Also, the chicken noodle soup looks yummy😋 Try using an ice cream scoop sprayed with oil to scoop out the muffins.
Hey there Love the breakfast idea. Do the wraps freeze well being gluten free? Also could you switch out the egg to make it more of a lunch time wrap? Xx
Love your videos. Here’s a tip- Save yourself a step and leave the strawberry tops on. They are edible and nutritious and you can’t taste them in smoothies 🤷♀️
1. Cut the top of the 🍍 of. 2. Cut in half. 3. Cut the half in the middle again. 4. Cut little bite sice cuts in the 🍍. 5. Than cut all along the 🍍 crust. 6. Now you have little 🍍 chunks. 🙂
I'm wondering how your chicken soup came out creamy looking when I didn't see anything in there that might've done that. Also it seemed there were 2 different colors/types of broth added to the pot. Is it all just chicken or no?

Awesome doing freezer meals. Isn't it wonderful to have stuff in the freezer. I love chicken noodle soup in the freezer!
What wonderful meal prep! My favorite was chicken noodle soup.
So good!
For the noodles- freeze with no noodles. Add the noodles when you are ready to eat!! Especially the rice noodles. They turn everything milky.
I have to say I absolutely love your videos! There is something about your voice and aesthetic of your videos that is very relaxing that I find myself just playing your video in the background while I'm working to get meal ideas and inspiration!

Do you add spinach also frozen or fresh when you make smoothie?
I'm trying to get better at this freezer prep - do you have a video of how you store/organize your freezer? Also, thanks for these videos!!

If you haven’t gotten a pineapple corer yet, Aldi has theirs coming out next week!
All well and good until the power goes out
Do you have to freeze the fruit first before putting into smoothie bags for a freezer smoothie, or can they go in fresh and then put into freezer?
Please share your muffin recipe & smoothies recipe
Thank you ❤❤🇿🇦
Great video 😊
Thanks! 😊
Can I use bananas or oranges or any fruit as a substitute for the blueberries?
Can you please give the canned corn recipe. Thanks
This is a great idea for my big family but I’m curious, do you ever get freezer burn? I use freezer bags and still get it.
How did you make the soup so creamy did you add cream or is that just from the noodles
Do you have tips on what to use as liquid in smoothies? I've only tried with Apple juice and orange juice😊
1. Cut the top of the 🍍 of.
2. Cut in half.
3. Cut the half in the middle again.
4. Cut little bite sice cuts in the 🍍.
5. Than cut all along the 🍍 crust.
6. Now you have little 🍍 chunks. 🙂
When u freeze fresh fruit or veg when it defrost does it not release a lot of liquid/water?❤

Can you explain how you canned the corn so it didn’t taste like it was canned? I had never heard of using a tomato slice before like that
Do you freeze your freshly grated cheese?
Hello! I have a question. Can the burritos be heated in the air fryer? Using the foil... Yes right?
Thank you!
