I had a guy who loved me like this. He collapsed and died in our driveway last year. I don’t think I will ever recover. Spend as much time as you can with the ones you love today. You may not have tomorrow.
🦋The pain never truly goes away but you learn to control and grow to become more comfortable, letting the pain drift away. My husband passed after in the middle of the night on the morning following mother's day 2012. It was rough going for a while, but now it just is and I remember we shared ....that's life, but I hate may 2012, truly. Blessings😊
I am a 53 year old lady from the uk. Ibwent to see coldplay at manchester a few months ago and it was the most amazing experience i had had in 53 years. The songs, the sound, musuc , lighrs performace atmosohere. At one point i realised i was so taken in i was crying. If you watch any songs from his musuc of sohrres tour. Wow
The best song Coldplay ever made by miles. Well this song is so nostalgic for me its definitely hard to compete. They have so many good songs. Coldplay is definitely a legendary band to say the least. Chris Martin is definitely one of my favorite vocalists.
My friend died at 23 at cancer( almost 20 years ago), 4 month after his diagnose. At his service in church, 1 week after his funeral we played this song on huge speakers and 2 of us were driving his motorbike to the altar and a picture he painted was projected to the altar (our priest was more than openminded;-)) Yellow was one of his favorite songs and it fitted perfectly with this „action“ at church. Until today my tears still keep falling after all these years. It was his song, it was this song saying goodbye to him! Long story short message: we will never forget you Thomas!! We still miss you like crazy!
Fun Fact: This song is only called "yellow" because when Chris was composing the song there just happened to be a copy of The Yellow Pages telephone directory on a nearby table. And, well, "it was all yellow"
Fun fact their band was first named Starfish. At the time, Chris Martin had a friend, Tim Crompton, whose band Coldplay was on the verge of breaking up. This band had the name Coldplay from a children's poetry collection ('Child's Reflections: Cold Play') and Martin decided to adopt the name himself after the band stopped.
I think Chris Martain has a really interesting soul. I think he and Gwyneth really loved each other. They inspired each other. Its a blessing to be loved even for a moment on that level!
My dog died 6 months ago and I'm 18 and had him since I was 5. I grew up with him, did everything with him and when I want to think about him I always play Yellow and O. Coldplay is such a wonderful band and I'll always support them💛💛
My dad used to sing this to my little sister all the time when she was born. Every time I hear it I just picture my dad holding my baby sister. Great memories. Absolutely love Coldplay check out the scientist next
This song was released in 2000. I used to take the bus from Hoboken, NJ to Port Authority in NYC to get to work every morning. "Parachutes" (this song is on that CD) was always in my CD Walkman (!) as I travelled to work. One of the reasons that I love music is because it connect me/anyone to the past. Hearing this song immediately transports my mind to 2000 when I enjoyed living 15 minutes from New York City in my mid-20s. Thank you for the upload!
This is from the first album Parachutes, I absolutely love it. There's loads more music from them, but start there and work your way out. They have played huge stadiums all over the world and have sold millions of albums. I find them a bit vanilla nowadays but I should just appreciate how good they are. The rabbit hole is massive 🇬🇧🔊
The video was a last minute thing, they had a video planned with the band, but the drummers mum died suddenly so the other band members looked after him whilst they sent Chris off to do video, it was their first hit, the film crew were booked they had to do something, think they did awesome
It rained all day, they had hired extras but couldn't do anything. So they sent everybody home. Chris Martin grabed the cameraman : let's try something...
The singer is Chris Martin - completely genuine man, always doing nice things for people and wait till you see what he can do with a crowd , you shoud try Skyful of stars live at river plate ( south america) keep in mind that is not an english speaking audience. Fix you is also a must as a song writer he gets right to the heart of the matter every time. Yellow the colour of optimism , sunshine, brightness ,positivity and spring flowers
Chris Martin changed music forever! He predicted the rise of Coldplay before they became massive! He knew he was special, and people who believe in themselves normally tend to go on and be successful!
Hmm... They were and are a band, a group of musicians, and maybe he wanted to manifest that they are great, but I doubt he though of himself to be great
Coldplay have home's in my neck of the woods in Devon I delivered food to them one night I think they were having a party or get together. Another band you might want to check out MUSE are from teignmouth which is about 5 miles from me.. great band better than Coldplay especially live
I love Coldplay. Fix you, Liva la vida, The Scientist, A sky full of stars. Chris Martin has a voice that haunts you and speaks deep to your soul. Chris has worked with other artists too and also has a,love of hip hop and collaborated on Jay-z 's album Kingdom Come. He has also worked with Kanye West and Aviici too.
This is one really beautiful song. I have a lot of really good songs. You should try checking out the scientist, clocks, fix you. Those songs are really really good.
All their songs match a human emotion. Pick an emotion, there is a Coldplay song. They are also the best performers on the planet. Their concerts are unbelievable.
I remember this song 27 years ago as a young fella. There is a sayong learnt when i was 8 Treat them mean keep them keen. And nice guys finish last. It's sad but ill always be nice causey fave quote is "treat people the way you want to be treated"
This song was released in 2000, 24 years ago. I fell in love with Coldplay because of this song. Their first 3 albums were 🔥 and I saw them live 3 times. Got bored of them in the Vida La Vida era. It was also the deep into Gwyneth era. 😴
Hymn For The Weekend is absolutely fantastic! Check that out. Beyoncé is on the track too. Clocks is also amazing, The Scientist, Viva La Vida, and on and on
I always told my late husband, before we married, that I wanted someone to love me as much as Tupelo Honey (song by Van Morrison)....and, WITHOUT TRYING: he EXCEEDED all expectations!!! Truly miss him. Funny you said that about the true love....was thinkin' it!! HUGS, BP!!!
Coldplay is my favorite band of all time. Been a very big fan since 2005. Their album A Rush of Blood to the Head is a masterpiece with The scientist, Amsterdam, clocks, in my place and many more. The Scientist always gets me very emotional, I love that song.
@GrowingDownUnder it still is your opinion. One that I didn't ask for. It's a matter of taste. I love the music of Coldplay, and I don't find them overrated. If you don't like their music, just skip the video and don't bother other people with YOUR OPINION.
@@ThaPietjah yeah no one asked for your opinion either but here you are commenting on someone elses video. See how that works? when you comment on a public video we're allowed to comment our opinions. Coldplay suck, get better taste in music homie
🇬🇧 Coldplay & "Fix You" is another beautiful song. Btw, Chris (lead singer) was married to actress Gwyneth Paltrow for a while, had kids but sadly it didn't work out. But they are still the best of friends, and Chris also gets on really well with Gwyneth's partner/husband. That's really cool. 😊
Oh Coldplay. Love their first few albums up to Viva La Vida album. I can’t listen after that it makes me sad. 😢 The Scientist Clocks Fix You Speed of Sound Viva La Vida I let my personal favorites out but those are their more popular great songs to check out!
I truly believe you've been either living under a rock or marooned on a desert island for the past thirty years . The number of MASSIVE songs and artists you've apparently never heard of is endless 🤣😉 - but your reactions are all the more entertaining for that . Worth seeking out a video of this live at Glastonbury 2002 - it's one of the great sing-along festival songs !
Thanks! Thank you for the diversity of your reactions. I would appreciate if you reacted to, Radiohead. The name of the song is Reckoner, Live from the basement. Cheers.
@@BlackPegasusRaps Thanks for the reply! The reason I asked for the Radiohead track, is because before I became a RENEGADE, I and many rappers, classical and jazz musicians always talk about being inspired by, the above mentioned band. Even Prince sang one of their songs at the Coachella music festival. Cheers Mate, and continue doing what you do because ti is all fire🔥🔥🔥
Great reaction, a very very young Chris Martin in Yellow. Check out "Something Like This" and "Viva La Vida" AMAZING, Fix You the official video is AMAZING too ... another UK gem, stay safe from Manchester UK
I mean.. if you want to check out some u2 I DEFINITELY suggest Where The Streets Have No Name.. the full video & it is a bit long but worth it.. I will only say this.. yes, ALL of it really happened & NONE of it was staged.. there are SO many perfect u2 songs but that song seems to be a good starting point.. for context they are from Ireland, & are somewhat known for their politics regarding their experiences in Ireland, they had the BIGGEST album in the world at the time of this video & filmed this video by surprise.. enjoy 🍀
If you like this check out Collective Soul "December". And 3 Door's Down "It's Not My Time". They are all similar in sound to The Church "Under the Milky Way". I listen to music when I write to set the mood of whatever novel I"m working on. (Yes, under a pen name.)
Love black Pegasus, been following him since 30k subscribers, I’ll back him up all the way, but what happened to the hip hop/rap pod cast???? lol. He’s been reacting to so much random stuff. He’s doing something right with how many people subscribe but I miss the hip hop stuff. Love you BP 💖🙏💖.
Great song, i was in the army with his brother but he was an officer, we used to take the piss out him cause he was crawling about with us whilst his bother was making millions singing lol. Obviously we were just joking around with him
Coldplay is awesome, see "The Scientist" (official video preferably) or "Fix You" to start. Your comments about your friends' experiences reminded me of Blue October's "Any Man in America," which is about Justin's divorce and custody battle, it says, "And I tried to focus all my anger in my work instead / I was succeeding at self-reliant, but inside, my soul is dead / I had to be the sole provider, but not allowed to be the dad... Any other man in American can get screwed just like me." (*I'd recommend a different song to react to if you ever react again to Blue October since you liked "Fear" so much, but I happened to listening to that song yesterday. That album is angry & all about men getting the short end.)
My favourite Brit band and that doesn't sound ANYTHING like Blunt AT ALL!!! Come on man. Gosh I love Yellow!!! And Blunt nothing at all like one another. The link is only the rain it's shitty weather like always in Britan haha. The song is actually a REAL poem that their manager copied and got in hot water for it. Yeah it's beautiful. James Blunt wrote all his songs including music.
Do echo someone else on here, you should check out "The Scientist" from Coldplay. And... I always got to recommend Florence + The Machine. She's absolutely amazing. 😁
Love Coldplay! Popular band that really used social media to promote themselves and lot of their popular songs and videos are available (of course its more common now with bands and singers ColdPlay was one of the early adopters). Their songs Yellow and Trouble really hooked me in 2000. In 2002 the song ' Clocks' sealed the deal and they've been on my playlist ever since.... so many great songs many listed by others below. Hey I didn't get a chance to really comment on your Police and Sting reactions.... My first band request for 2024 based on your reactions to those videos is to Listen to Australian band...................... " Men at Work"; the songs 'Who can it be now?' (police/sting style) and 'Down Under' (song about Australia by Australian band) ...from the same era (80's). I'm sure others have their opinion of their favorite songs from this band. My favorite storytelling song from Men at Work is "Overkill' the music video actually enhances the storytelling.
Love that you're reacting to this, but you might wanna try "BroKen" and "Champion of the world", one of the sweetest songs ever with brilliant lyrics as well ("I have ET on my bicycle because giving up just won't work": Chris deserves prizes for just that one line 😀). "BroKen" is gospel, awesome too 👍
After watching your reaction to this, Cranberries (Zombie) and a few others, I realised you really like powerful, emotional songs. You should really check out '4 Non Blondes - Whats Up', I reckon you'll love that too. Either way, love your channel, here for all your content. keep on grinding bruv 👍🏻
The song recording is heavily engineered with numerous overdubs and music effects. In order to get the video effect, the video was recorded in one continuous take at twice the normal frame speed with Chris Martin also singing at double speed. The video speed was then slowed down to normal speed, which gives the effect of slow motion. Martin later said the lyric "Yellow", had no particular meaning and originally was a place holder, thinking he would replace it with something else, but eventually yellow just sounded right.
Oh man, so much amazing music here!! "Fix you" is their most famous one, but man all songs are either good, fantastic or amazing! Coldplay is one of my favorite bands - but the other favorite Keane has made the best album I have ever heard "Hopes and fears". The song "Somewhere only we know" have 1 billion listens on Spotify. Could be something to check out?
Makes me cry every time this song. Reminds me so much of my late partner Stu who sadly died from MND two years ago. Beautiful but emotive. "Look at the stars, look how they shine for you" 💕🙌
The Scientist and Fix You are fabulous as well.
And That was when I ruled the world.
..and many, many more!!!
The Scientist is in my personal top 10 of all time
Scientist is their best song
Yes, lovely songs ! ❤ Greetings from Finland

chris martin is 47 now and was only 23 when this song came out. the maturity in his voice and his lyrics were just A1. i think you'd like sparks! :)

You should check out many more of their songs. Shiver, Clocks, X&Y, The Scientist, Til Kingdom Come, Sky Full of Stars, and so many more ♥️
Love that you're reacting to this, but you might wanna try "BroKen" and "Champion of the world", one of the sweetest songs ever with brilliant lyrics as well ("I have ET on my bicycle because giving up just won't work": Chris deserves prizes for just that one line 😀).
Awww yess I love this song! 🖤 I'm actually shocked you haven't heard this one BP! 😂😂
Travis are better. Coldplay took the Travis model and went big. Try Sing by Travis.
Oh and this guy divorced Gwyneth Paltrow.
GREAT reaction need to check out Coldplay there first album called parachutes god bless Warrington UK 🇬🇧
Studland bay Dorset ...I walk that every week 😃 btw Chris Martin married Gwenith Paltrow...
Makes me cry every time this song. Reminds me so much of my late partner Stu who sadly died from MND two years ago. Beautiful but emotive. "Look at the stars, look how they shine for you" 💕🙌
Un gringo cuarentón millenial que no conoce Coldplay...
¿Estaba secuestrado por una secta o qué?
