I used to think also that it was mainly her attitude but started to hear people listening to her and most saying (young people who didn't know her) that she has a singular voice , so it's about attitude + voice tone. This is part of what I call the "Vocal Nuances". She's never been known for her singing in general. But all of a sudden she has a live performance that requires vocal skills and she kills it.
It's kind of hard to believe that this is 28 years ago... I'll never forget watching this and wishing sooo hard that I could one day see her live... Since then - I have seen 13 tour performances... I feel genuinely blessed!
I wish people would stop using this damn insult against her. She has done stripped down performances and elaborate production numbers consistently, and on each tour, almost since day one.
The Erotica album! The Sex Book! The Girlie Show! All the looks! All the interviews! All The Messages! Completely underrated!!! Would be one of the best moments ever created and has never been topped again!! Until perhaps Madame X!!! Hopefully there’s tons more to come ♥️🙏🏼💋🌺
