Javin Towers unfortunately there's not many mods for this bike at the moment. Only some online companies that take over a month to ship to the states or cheap Chinese companies. With this being a brand new release, I'd wait until next year sometime to start seeing reputable brands develop accessories

I love the bike! I did sadly trade it in, but for good reason! Now I own the 650F. Much more power, so much more comfortable for my size as well. I have a video on the 650 on my channel also. It's a gem of a bike. It would be awesome to see the CB350 H'ness come to Canada and the U.S.A. It would compliment the retro bike class. It will never come to our shores. What a pity and what a shame.
The 300 was great, but the 650F is even better ;) I have since traded this bike in for my 650F. That video is on my page also. Sometimes though, I do wonder what Honda is thinking lol. It really is a shame
I heard the bike was launched in INDIA so I thought of searching some videos on the bike and the found your video. The time this video is posted is great since I'm sure people like me would definitely get to your video.
Very good mechanical replacement of the old CB250 Nighthawk (234cc) retired a decade ago. Dual disks, monoshock, ABS available, trip features on dash, button cancel indicators, fuel injection and water cooled. 2.5gal tank is miserable though. For a tank as physically big as that one (all the plastics) it should be five gallons. The old Nighthawk was 4.5. If they'd package that in a Honda 1970s retro look too like the Triumphs (dual traditional fenders, straight seat, some cargo rails, upright sitting) then I'd buy one next year. I no longer need a big displacement bike. I just run a hundred fifty miles on country loops or on quick town errands. I personally don't like the CBR semi sport shape over the CB or CL design, since this (Honda) is a mild bike, but i know most buyers do. Doubt if they will though since they have the Rebel. The Rebel though looks like it was tossed together by a blind man in a shed, this looks well designed.
It’s pretty but man they should really update the motor it’s already just a very slightly bored out 250 motor at 286cc so it’s really struggling compared to 370cc singles and 399cc ideuces
I think it depends on your size. I'm tall at 6'4" so it was not the most comfortable thing ever after a while. Hip flexors would cramp up. If you're a "normal" human and not tall as hell, it would be super comfortable. Not a cruiser, but comfortable nonetheless. As far as highway speeds, I took this on the highway for thousands of miles. At 70mph it's definitely up there in the RPM's so if you have an exhaust it might be annoying on the ears, but the bike doesn't feel stressed or bogged down. By no means is it unable to handle the highway. It's still a 300cc engine and it does just fine at highway speeds. Gets up to 60-75mph quickly, maintains it for hours, but It just tops out around 90ish

I'm planningon getting this bike real soon, however, I have to order it since my motorcycle shop does not have one in stock. I'm standing around 5-'4' - 5'5', I heard this bike is stockier and smaller. How would you think I'd stand on the bike?
John Valeriano I think it would be a perfect fit. I'm 6'4 just under 6'5 and honestly it feels like I'm on a normal sized bike. It definitely isn't "small" , it's much much larger than a grom but it isn't a 1000cc supersport lol
Absolutely it's a perfect starter bike. They are cheap now, around $3500, they are 300cc but have plenty of power my friends were surprised it had such snap for being a small engine. They look great, handle well, are reliable, and have all you need in a beginner bike.
om prakash I have only rode it for maybe a few hours around town and stuff. Never took it out for a long highway trip. It's very comfortable, rides great, and amazing on gas. I'm tall so at 6'5 I need to take a little break every hour or so just to stretch the hips because I'm so tall. A "normal" height person will have zero issue. Love the bike.
I have this bike in Turkey but in our country this is cb250r. Do you have a chain noise problem on your bike? We have this problem for all bikes and couldnt find any solution.
Faik Gökhan Gök Yes this bike has a rattling chain noise. You can always bring it into your dealer to check chain slack, but the sprocket is noisy on small cc bikes.
Michael Scholz Most things you just do yourself. Oil changes are insanely easy, then all you really need to do is clean/wax your chain regularly and keep an eye on tire pressure. Since these 300cc bikes are so reliable you don't need to worry about much at all. Look into how to adjust chain tension also, you should check up make sure it's in spec every like 500-1000 miles. The upkeep is insanely cheap. The only thing that costs a bit is the 600 mile break in service that's about $130
Sheldon orgill Yes, I'm quite tall and weigh about 230lb. No bike will ever really fit me but so be it! As far as power, I couldn't ask for more at the time being. As a first bike, it's more than enough power. I've gotten it up to only about 65 so far because I'm still in the break-in period, so extended trips on expressways should be avoided at first. The bike will have no issue getting upwards of 100+ mph. In normal daily traffic, you easily get to 40mph within the first 2-3 gears. 6 speed is plenty. But I've gotten it up very quickly within seconds. The power band feels more mid range, once it hits maybe 5k rpms, you feel the instant torque really pull you. Can easily be a commuter bike and very easily handle highway speeds. Wheelies are no issue either, shhhhhhh.....;)
Darko Of course! You can always remove them and get mirrors that mount on the outside of the handlebars. They're usually smaller and have less field of view though. These mirrors are surprisingly well positioned and designed. They don't have a blind spot as large as some other bike models, and you can tilt/rotate them to fit your needs.
Esnesio Oh yes definitely! Not many parts are made for this bike just yet since it's newer. But next spring when the weather warms up I will certainly do a fender delete! I will try to do a tutorial too. Does not seem too hard
The rear fender is always removable, but the license plate is what you need to adjust to still remain visible from the back. Their should be bolts at the base that connects to the tail & some probably inside the trunk space. Just need a kit to place the plate

Gold accessories look awesome on matte black bikes. It sucks though, that for the time I owned this bike, there was not a lot out there :( since it was brand new. I think by now there should be ton of aftermarket things available
chilled sama dio well, I'm very tall at 6'4 about, so the bike is a bit cramped. That's kind of my own issue though and not the bike! The exhaust is pretty ugly lol, but all stock exhausts are large due to emissions laws. The bike is pretty dam amazing, but I think to be a perfect 10/10 it would need ABS as a stock option, maybe a gear indicator (not needed though since its sequential gearing) and maybe a few color options. To be a perfect 10/10 is hard for any bike at the introduction price and power of a commuter
Have the CB150R here in Thailand. I'm sure the aftermarket parts would be universal between the 300 & 150 (???) Besides which there are a lot of aftermarket parts in Thailand. (About to clock over 24,000klms bought April 2018)
Much less weight, the 300R have a dry weight of 140 Kg, considering than the previous F model was a little more heavier, this one have better power to weight radio, Fuel injection, all is led, main lights, blinkers, stop, also have an imu sensor included, Honda should bring more colors, red and black only, in white would be awesome.
alisacalin7474 the vibration isn't bad at all. The seat is a bit firm though, definitely a sport bike type of firm so don't expect a cruiser or Harley Davidson type plush feeling on your ass lol. I had back surgery near my spinal cord/tailbone 2 years ago almost, and i don't have issues. It is a bit of a firm seat after a long ride though
you've missed a golden opportunity... you said nothing about how it rides. seating position. top speed. low end power. performance of the stock tires. agility. this quick look could have easily included some opinions a bit deeper than how much you like the looks.
@@HelloWorld-sg3bt of course it'll have really good handling compared to most bikes because it's so light... but that doesn't tell me if it's well balanced or feels like it would rather lean in or resists leaning... etc. things like that. i'm not asking for me. i'm just trying to give constructive criticism to the channel. if i were to buy one of these, it would have been the 1000, and it would have to have been before i bought my Z900.

Vivek Selvadurai i wouldn't call it that. It's a small sports bike. The seat is firm and hurts your ass after a while just like almost any of these sport bones. I would look into something else for touring.
Really nice bike but why do they always put such huge exhausts on those models just does not sit well with the slim, sleek frame of the bike. The opening of the exhaust is so tiny but the covering of it is huge... 🤨

Ans L Thank you for commenting. That's very common and happened to me too at first lol. You have to just hold the gas nozzle at an angle kind of, and slowly squeeze it. Not like a car. You'll get the hang of it! Make sure you clean up any gas on the paint right away

Ans L Well at least we know we aren't the only ones then. I've managed over 2-3 trips to the gas station to ease on the nozzle until it is fully pressed otherwise it first sprays back! Let me know how that works out for you and if it was easy or hard to do
but better than a grom, this bike came out before the grom it's an old bike that honda remade and brought back to make it more modern. It's a cafe racer

sam sharp well, the rebel will definitely be more comfortable if you like to cruise longer trips just because of the sitting position and "harley" style design. This is a small sports bike
koofdome that’s true I just love the way this bike looks and I would probably use it at a daily driver to work..and when I’m off I’d probably only ride it no longer than an hour orn2
sam sharp go to a dealer and sit on both!! Don't feel rushed or awkward, ask the salesperson to give you some time and not pester you. Just sit on the bikes for 15-20 minutes see if you develop any cramps or sore asscheeks lol

How much are the cost for dealer maintain and upkeep for such a bike. New to the game and have no clue.

It has a 6 second 0-60 mph, which is actually pretty good for a 286cc single!
😢 I found my commuter Motorcycle. Search is over. Brand new at 6k...last me 7 years easily. Save probably 35k using this as a commuter

chilled sama dio well, I'm very tall at 6'4 about, so the bike is a bit cramped. That's kind of my own issue though and not the bike! The exhaust is pretty ugly lol, but all stock exhausts are large due to emissions laws. The bike is pretty dam amazing, but I think to be a perfect 10/10 it would need ABS as a stock option, maybe a gear indicator (not needed though since its sequential gearing) and maybe a few color options. To be a perfect 10/10 is hard for any bike at the introduction price and power of a commuter

Have the CB150R here in Thailand. I'm sure the aftermarket parts would be universal between the 300 & 150 (???) Besides which there are a lot of aftermarket parts in Thailand. (About to clock over 24,000klms bought April 2018)

Much less weight, the 300R have a dry weight of 140 Kg, considering than the previous F model was a little more heavier, this one have better power to weight radio, Fuel injection, all is led, main lights, blinkers, stop, also have an imu sensor included, Honda should bring more colors, red and black only, in white would be awesome.
Would the vibration from the single bother someone with a spine problem?
alisacalin7474 the vibration isn't bad at all. The seat is a bit firm though, definitely a sport bike type of firm so don't expect a cruiser or Harley Davidson type plush feeling on your ass lol. I had back surgery near my spinal cord/tailbone 2 years ago almost, and i don't have issues. It is a bit of a firm seat after a long ride though

John David Dunson it’s a light bike, really good handling. I’ve had mine nearly a year when it was first released in the U.K.
@@HelloWorld-sg3bt of course it'll have really good handling compared to most bikes because it's so light... but that doesn't tell me if it's well balanced or feels like it would rather lean in or resists leaning... etc. things like that.

Vivek Selvadurai i wouldn't call it that. It's a small sports bike. The seat is firm and hurts your ass after a while just like almost any of these sport bones. I would look into something else for touring.

Really nice bike but why do they always put such huge exhausts on those models just does not sit well with the slim, sleek frame of the bike. The opening of the exhaust is so tiny but the covering of it is huge... 🤨

Did you find it hard to fill the gas tank? The gas splashes back on mine like crazy because of the bar on the inside of the opening.
Ans L Thank you for commenting. That's very common and happened to me too at first lol. You have to just hold the gas nozzle at an angle kind of, and slowly squeeze it. Not like a car. You'll get the hang of it! Make sure you clean up any gas on the paint right away
@@koofdome I own many bikes and this is the first to do this. I'm thinking about taking the tank out and removing it. I don't see a point to it. None of my other bikes have this.
Ans L Well at least we know we aren't the only ones then. I've managed over 2-3 trips to the gas station to ease on the nozzle until it is fully pressed otherwise it first sprays back! Let me know how that works out for you and if it was easy or hard to do

I’m torn between this and a rebel 300... I don’t like the f version of this bike.. all that extra plastic looks tacky to me...
sam sharp well, the rebel will definitely be more comfortable if you like to cruise longer trips just because of the sitting position and "harley" style design. This is a small sports bike
koofdome that’s true I just love the way this bike looks and I would probably use it at a daily driver to work..and when I’m off I’d probably only ride it no longer than an hour orn2
sam sharp go to a dealer and sit on both!! Don't feel rushed or awkward, ask the salesperson to give you some time and not pester you. Just sit on the bikes for 15-20 minutes see if you develop any cramps or sore asscheeks lol
koofdome true! My dealer has a spot in the back for test drives for people that doesn’t have a motorcycle endorsement.. I’ve been riding dirt bikes for a while and want to get a bike so I’m thinking about going and test driving in the back 😂
