  • Episode 11 - We’d head back to Turkey but first we wanted to dip our toe into a dream of ours by volunteering alongside a couple who had taken the plunge a few years ago!
On returning to Turkey, we’d attempt one of the world’s most dangerous roads and start to think about how we were going to get to Central Asia with the current geopolitical situation as it is right now. If you'd like to know more about us, Project Wild Earth, The Projects and how this all came about, click here: projectwildearth.com/ For our journey, we are driving Jane, our INEOS Grenadier, and live in a Patriot X3 Trailer so we can travel off-road to remote locations and be off-grid for long periods of time. Episode Specific:
Permaculture starts with observing and understanding the patterns and intricacies of nature and then applying those learnings to design our own environments. This approach extends beyond just our gardens and farms, it's also about our homes, communities and lifestyles.

Loved this episode! Some incredible shots & scenery there. The storytelling is improving with each episode - kudos to Leah. Editing on the road can’t be easy. Top efforts and you’ve got a great soothing voice narrating it. Keep up the awesome adventures! Matt C

Cheers Matt! As you know, our plan is to keep improving with the each one! Editing on the road is a challenge for sure, especially from a time perspective but we just do the best we can while balancing everything else! 🙃

I have lived in the mountains most of my life and driven some crazy roads ! These roads gave me anxiety just watching you. The farming was amazing and is giving me ideas I have long dreamed of

It's not our intention to give you anxiety but if you keep watching, you'll see the roads become more and more interesting as the journey continues... 😉
As for the farming, we're glad you enjoyed this one as it's a little different. Definitely dig into permaculture, maybe even take a course or two. There's so much to learn and endless possibilities! We've no doubt it will become a big part of our future as we start to finalise plans!

Wow, stone road looks frightening . But what a great tv add that would make for the grenadier .
What a trip , stay safe

Stone road wasn’t that bad in the end compared to many of the roads around the world. There’s a few narrow bits, it’s not ideal for turning around or reversing with a trailer and it could definitely go wrong if you’re not concentrating but all in all, it’s fine. As for advertising the Grenadier, for sure, it’s a great spot and quite different to most other places around the world!
