this is useful list than many how to threads I've seen on twitter in past year, maybe because of medium, but i understood a lot from this video, most of these I haven't heard or considered, i will try to integrate atleast some of these in my life, just by imagining doing all these sound uncomfortable, to give up on laziness or mindless scrolling, i had considered doing nothing few months back, but never started, maybe i will start with that

I will say you are my favorite person on TH-cam right now. I will be sharing your wonderful contact with my 26-year-old daughter. She is a graduate student in documentary film and trying to figure out how she is going to survive after graduate school. Thank you for your sincerity your insights you’re genuineness and your willingness to share yourself All the best to you, my friend, April
I put things away straight away too. I always tidy up after meals. It's made things so much less stressful with everything else going on in the world. Thanks for the great content. 🤗
Gabe, I am going to write your mom’s quote ( “It’s easier to keep up ,than it is to catch up ) on my board for this week ❤! Thanks for the video! Happy holidays 🎄!
A routine I have is to unsubscribe from mail when it’s black friday and each and every company you’ve ever bought anything from will send mail about their deals. Also I only have notifications on messages and the phone, everything else is completely turned off and even some messenges from ehh ”less” important people. I use the sleep setting to turn of all notifications from 8 to 6, only my ICE contacts can reach me during those hours.
Regarding '1 Min Clean', I actually came up with sth very simillar. I tell myself to do some N actions like 15 or 20. Each plate is one thing, one bunch of forks is one thing, one headest out of desk is one thing, wet wiping of screen is one thing. I usually end up doing few more than assumed :-) Idea is the same: it does not require a lot of energy to start and it's easy to keep going.

I hate watching it in French ! Those who started watching Gabe before this functionality understand English so it’s only annoying to not recognize the voice. Although is it just me ? I have this rule that if I watch a TV series that is from an English or Spanish speaking country I will watch it in its original language with subs for Spanish. But sometimes I’m just too lazy, especially with Spanish so I tend to choose a Turkish or Swedish tv series so that my rule doesn't apply and I can watch it in French 😂 it works for German tv series as well 😅
@@Sypeth same! i am used to listen to Gabe in english and I understand him well. when it put in french automatically i need to change back to english immediately
The Ben Franklin rule alone has actually changed my life. It’s not perfect but I’ve seen DRASTIC improvement in my house. It could be that paired with decluttering I’ve been working on as well. But that is a golden rule and something I’ll stand by forever.
Sharing your experience has helped encourage me to I am fairly decent in most areas but I always need some improvement. I really appreciate your advice.
As a musician I can tell you I learn from listening to music all the time. It’s called ear training. Additionally, music is amazing for mental health. Especiall
In general keeping things simple is sometimes a lot easier than some make it out to be. For instance, keeping just your basic apps you need on your phone, not buying a million extras of things when you need to go shopping, curating your social media to content that helps you or having way less of it (at least for myself) and always giving things a home is super easy. And if you don’t want to deal with anxiety as much, if possible, try not overthinking situations. Yes, no, black, white. Less shades of grey make thinking paralysis easier, too. Of course I’m also mildly autistic so it is easier for me to consider something and then stick with a decision instead of vacillate- but you do you. You’ll save a lot of wasted mental and emotional space as well as physical just not overdoing things to begin with. In other words, if the plant dies, just water it less the next time around. Break things down into smaller steps. I’m not a full minimalist, no- but I also don’t need ten mascaras just because it’s Black Friday weekend and week. Try two or three extras of something, if that works for you, and if you want, to buy less. See what works for you, and give those a go. Nice tips as always, Gabe. No issue at all with anyone who needs 300 toilet paper rolls or ten shampoos, say, either- but that would just personally be overkill for me. I try not to have so many backups that they spoil.
Hi Gabe it must be hard being a minimalist being a family man There seems to be different stages of minimalism Some people it's just a bed and a bowl literally Not sure about collecting so many books though But it's purely your personal choice Wishing you all the best 💰
Talking about no music and listening to audiobooks or podcasts. What type of podcasts are you listenening too. I've made a conscious effort to eliminate news from my media intake. Can't control it, so I try not to listen to it. But what are some other types of podcasts that you or the community would recommend.
Thank you so much for this amazing video! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
Hello, did you change the person who is cutting/editing your video? Maybe its just me, but it looks different. I had quite difficult time to follow, seems scattered and really flashy 🙏🏻 I have been following you for long time but if this would be first vid I probably wouldn’t stay. Thank you for making videos with added value. Have a great day
This video made me mute a couple of discord servers I'm in so that I only spend 20 minutes max on them. I love hanging out with people and seeing what theyre talking about, but it's such a time sink
In 2009 I was at a Zen Monastery n China, I asked a Zen Master what Zen was, he asked me, do you cook meals? I replied, “yes” he’s replied “do your dishes” that really stuck with me. I’m now a millionaire living in hawaii and all my dreams have come true. Greatest advice I ever had.
@@theresamoser2432 but it’s still teaching you how to do something and there’s quite a lot of points in the actual teaching. You can’t teach anyone anything in 5 seconds even though you are teaching them a 5 second rule to apply to their lives 😂😂😂😂. It may take you 10 mins to drive to the shops but it’s impossible to teach you to drive in 10 mins. As in the same as with anything you are being taught in life and how you apply it to your real life situation ……. It’s not the same in minutes 😂😂😂😂
😂 I USUALLY have playback speed increased --but for YOU, I am 🦥 slowing it down! Thanks for all the ideas...24 is quite hefty, so I will take it easy and not do like I often do and JUMP 🦘 IN... only to get nothing done... sigh

I say to myself ....there is no "later". It eliminates picking up after yourself. Surprised how many times i said later to myself in a day.

Be very careful with freezing a credit card, especially if you have auto-pays on it.
Autosync sucks, how to turn it off?
How many people sit in the same traffic everyday and complan how bad the journey is? Amazing how work places never have sleeping accomodation!
