  • Special thank you to Uscooters for sending me a review unit for this review!
    I was delighed with this electric scooter. It has enough power to get my big but up to 25 MPH or (40KPH) without issue. It's the perfect in town micro electric scooter...it brakes perfectly fine, the ride is acceptable (actually quite good) and the weight is less than 25lbs...which means you can carry it anywhere :). Light, compact, powerful and enough range for scooting around the city...a perfect little scooter!
    The Uscooters Booster V is one of the highest quality electronic scooters on the market. Equipped with a 36v 10.2ah battery the Booster V has great power, range and hill climbing. Weighing just over 24 lbs. and with a 500 watt motor equipped to produce up to 700W, this emission-free scooter can reach a top speed of about 25 mph and travels up to 24 miles on a single charge*. Its unique regenerative braking system helps charge the scooter’s battery when the front magnetic brakes are applied. Patented airless tires and front and rear suspension provide a smooth ride with no maintenance needs. The bright color LCD screen relays all the information a rider needs to track. The Booster V is equipped with both front and rear lights, suspension and brakes.
    In addition to a cruise control feature, the scooter’s three-point folding system makes it a convenient and practical choice for commuters. Get yours today and help lead the push toward a new era of urban mobility.

    Tim I Finally did a 100% to 0% range test of the booster V and thought I’d post my results here for subscribers interested in this model. It was 80 degrees, mixed topography (mostly flat, though) avg speed was 12mph. I’m 190lbs. I got 17.2 miles which is pretty awesome. Cheers🍻

      @@TimsElectric I don’t mind at all:) Near Lexington, Ky. After over 200 miles on both my Booster V’s (I have 2) I can also attest that after the battery gets to roughly 50% the power/torque drop off is noticeable but not by a huge margin. Also, from 50% to 0% will not get you the same mileage as going from 100% to 50% . This is true of all the scooters I’ve ridden, though. I have a Zero8X but find that I ride the Booster V much more based on the fact that I can load it into my car Much more easily and carry it into restaurants as it’s just so dang light weight and portable! Cheers🍻

      @Brent Ferrell thanks so much!!!!
      I hear you on the portability ...they're so dang handy....I was late for dinner tonight (my wife left without me..so I knew I was in trouble...I was out photographing another scooter lol) anyway, I knew I needed to get there fast and so I grabbed the Booster V, arrived as she arrived (walking) and quietly tucked in a corner in the restaurant ...so easy :)

      When it goes to 0% does this become a regular scooter or is it going to be hard rolling it without electricity? Does scooter loses % daily overnight?

    Love the brake lever on this. This is a great scooter like it’s big brother - the regen braking is remarkable. If you go down hills when not in a rush apply the brake and get more battery life

    Great review Tim you do a great job. I have owned both models for awhile now and for daily commuting they both offer great portability when I get on the train. In the under 30 lb. category there really is nothing with more power and speed that can compare. The cruise control option on the Booster V is also really nice for my longer commutes. The only other thing I would add is that both the V and GT have a rear friction fender brake for emergency stops.

    I opted for the s+ or booster sport with the 350 watt motor as it was on offer for £350 reduced from £545 as it was a late 2020 model. I’m 84kg so The extra power and range would be welcome but I only do short half mile or so trips so the Uscooters (etwow) scooters are great, so portable and it’s amazing how handlebars so thin don’t make you feel unbalanced at all. The V has the same motor as the GT at 500 watt so breaking should be better than my s+. Great review Tim, I think u really May use your Uscooters more than any others! Etwow have changed the line up now, not sure when u will see them in the US with the Uscooters branding but it’s very confusing! There is like 5 models, they should just stick to the S+, V and GT.

    Hey Tim, great video!! How is the booster compared to the GT in terms of take off. is it just as fast? im considering the booster because of the GT's price, but i love the GT's take off and speed at 25 for how small it is! Thanks!

    • @TimsElectric
      @TimsElectric  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Awesome question @spikesvideos, they're the same exact size (within an inch) ...the difference is the GT has a larger battery a manual brake as well as regen. The Booster only regen...they're both quick. I use the GT as I'm quite heavy and the extra power helps...although I could easily use the Booster V

      @TimsElectric  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Brent, I would go for the Usctooer GT SE over the Booster V as it does have a bit of a larger battery...still light but also a bit more powerful. As to the range...can you charge where you're going? So ride 5miles and then charge? If so then no problem...it might be tight there and back without a boost/charge....You are a lot lighter than I am so you might be ok...sorry I don't know...Personally I would be fine with 3-4 Miles one way....but not sure it would make 10 miles...especially if there were hills or a head wind :) hope this helps :)

    Hey Timothy I’m trying to decide between this one and the GT SE. I’m going to use mine for going door to door. I currently use a Segway mini pro and love that I can go very slowly when I’m trying to choose my next door to knock but my neck starts to hurt after a while due to the self balancing mechanism not always keeping my feet parallel to the ground.
    Question is, which model moves more controlled at lower speed, 5 to 8 mph? Also can you restrict the speed like on the GT SE. I think the Booster V looks better and I like that it is lighter. When you are working and it’s hot you feel a 5 pound difference.
    Also I weigh 183 pounds at speeds under 12 mph do you think I can get an 18 mile range?
    Thank you

    • @TimsElectric
      @TimsElectric  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      that's a terrific question.
      I'm not really sure how far you'll get on the GT SE (which is the one I would choose if I were you)
      I haven't done a range test...I'm a lot bigger than you are (255lbs) but for me I wouldn't risk a trip of more than 10 miles.
      It is a bit bigger but it has a larger motor, higher voltage and bigger battery.
      I also like having the extra manual brake...just in case :)
      Hope this helps :)
      Cheers

      Im in the US and scooters are definitely making a showing here. In Texas, not alot of the cities are bike friendly and a scooter like this makes it possible to keep up with light traffic on the street. With gas prices increasing and the weather being brutally hot, its getting increasingly popular here locally. I usually drive but will consider using higher powered portable scooters on occasions or emergency. Ultra portable is the key for mass adoption. Have you tried the Fluid Mosquito? Its design is almost like the booster v except has a bit more speed to it and around the same price.
