We all do it. You walk by stuff that needs done 1,000 times a week and swear you'll get to it eventually. Well, this week I'm not letting it bother me anymore!
I have one of those hand trucks and my tires periodically need air...it's a pain. I do enjoy watching all your "Ding Stuff" because it represents real life. I just wish I had all your equipment and the large barn to put it all in.
@DennisComito Thank you! I absolutely try to "keep it real". The equipment took years to earn, but the barns were a godsend. I'm just trying to take the best care of them I can. 🤠👍
When I was young I had a good job but I worked 3 jobs to put my 4 sons through private Christian school, now that I’m 76 and watching you tube videos like yours I want to buy a mini farm and all that machinery and have fun, that won’t happen but I enjoy watching and always learning thanks
Drill holes in the tires after you get the tube out and fill them with foam, trim and forget. I just rebuilt my 16' car hauler from the frame up and one of my tires on the zero turn had a rip in the sidewall at the same time, so I bought two new tires. Everywhere wanted $40 for the little tires. I just refused to spend the money plus I was about to pay $20 x 4 to dismount and remount trailer tires. I went to good ole Harbor Freight and bought a manual tire changer, $33 with my discounts. The first tire sucked, but when I got to the second I had so much soapy water on everything the tires practically changed themselves! I refuse to give in to this Government created depression! Another month to find out if we become Venezuela!
My air compressor has those tires that has no tubes. They are always flat!! (Air compressor/flat tires, ironic😂🤔). Need to get some hard rubber ones like you.
@travisdoesfirewood Thank you! Bundles are where the $$ is. Although, I saw Wayfare sells varnished pine logs for HUNDREDS of dollars each! What are we doing? Lol 🤠👍
Hi Sam. Harbor Freight does make a tire that looks like the one in your video but it does not take air. I know because I replaced the pneumatic tires on my hand truck. They work great. Just wanted to let you know.
As someone who has used those same solid Harbor Freight tires on a wheelbarrow: they have poor welds and fail often. I think I've replaced three already. Tubes maybe a better option anyway.
One of the easiest ways to do a tube in a tire is to use baby powder, that’s what we use when we change our tires and tubes on our motocross bikes works wonderful
I think the answer to why pneumatic tires is cost. They don't need them, but they cost less than solid rubber tires keeping the price "competitive". I could be wrong, but that has always been my opinion when pondering that same question.
@normangarrand1106 I know what you're thinking and yes, if it were premium lumber, I would never put it there. That is all 36+ year old treated lumber from my parent's deck that we demo'd. I'll repurpose it as I need it, but if it's unusable, I just burn it 🤠👍
Tidying up can be just as satisfying as fixing stuff.
It's the annoying PITA jobs that, once completed, make me feel like I'm adulting correctly lol

I think you've got to be correct. The solid rubber wheels were a more expensive option 🤠👍
Unless you are on a smooth surface I'd rather have pneumatic tires. They seem to roll better on small obstacles

I tried that with "Great Stuff" expandable foam. It worked for a little while. Is there something that's specifically for tires?

You dont have that problem with solid tyres. I got a sackbarrow & within a little while you'd have a punture. So changed to solid tyres
@@rayhitchman4741 I did that on the hose reel, but I couldn't find solid ones for the hand truck. If I do, I'll change those too 🤠👍

Next time you have to remove a tube remove the valve stem first so it is completely empty.
