That barn reminds me of the barn at my uncle's farm. It has the same construction. HIs barn was built around the 1880's or 1890's. That might give you an idea as to when it was built. Carver / Middleboro MA is in the thick of harvest, but even while sitting here waiting on a repair part for a furford, I'm watching this video.
Thanks for giving every one of your viewers this slice of farming life.
So sorry about Maggie. It is never easy to lose a cow, especially one you raised. The only comfort is that she went quickly without a struggle. She also had her best life with you and Brent taking care of her. I've been there and you never get used to it. Take care snd and stay strong.

Sorry for your loss Taylor never easy when you lose an animal for no reason!
Sorry for the loss of one of your cows Taylor, I hope you keep her in your memories. I too have raised a heifer calf who was abandoned by her mother only to find her dead after her 3rd calf, her and her calf were a Holstein/Guernsey cross nicest and most beloved animal in my uncle’s herd
Sorry for your loss Tay, it is so tragic when an animal dies like that and difficult to understand, wishing you happier days ahead ❤

😢 I’m terribly sorry Taylor. Thinking of you 😔
Thanks for sharing T. I grew up on a farm. We used to farm with horses and always enjoy the good international sound listening to the neighbors plowing away and so fun to drive a tractor. Just really enjoy your videos and I’m so amazed how you take farming you must’ve grew up on a farm or tell us a little bit about your background sometime. Maybe you did and I just didn’t see it.
Know that you provided Maggie the best life a cow could have…
Can relate to that loss tay.

Taylor. It’s times like this I dread the most. I never know the right words to comfort you☹️😢
Bonjour Taylor. Je suis vraiment désolé pour la perte de Maggie. Ce dont je suis sûr, c'est que si elle est partie,ce n'est pas en raison d'un manque de soin de votre part . La relation que vous avez avec vos "filles" est exemplaire. Bien à vous.
Another excellent video kid !!! sorry about Maggie. !
