    Soham, thank you once again for the tutorial. I watched many of your videos in preparation for learning to solder. I just started soldering a few weeks ago and am going through your tutorials and making them to learn/practice. It has been amazingly helpful. As there is no where near me to take classes, I am learning through the internet and books and your videos have been the most helpful to me. Fold forming is next!

    To practice my measuring, sizing and soldering, I’ve been making spinner rings with twisted outer rings. It’s really helped me improve my smithing skills and precision. Thanks for sharing so much of your wisdom and and so many of your skills. These videos have been invaluable for my education.

    The ring is beautiful. I don't know what 'pickling' means. Great video and demonstration. Thank you.

    Soham, do you polish your pieces in a tumbler with steel shot, then put a finishing polish on a wheel with tripoli and rouge? or do you us the wheel exclusively? I tried tumbling with shot put got small pits in my pieces. I believe that I didn't have the proper amount of shot in the tumbler. Perhaps a demo on that might be helpful to us self taught beginners. Thanks so much!

    This is a beautiful ring! Out of curiosity, what was the width of the two half round rings you made for this?

    When picking up the solder with your pick, what metal is your pick that it holds the solder? Titanium?

    • @sohamharrison
      @sohamharrison 10 ปีที่แล้ว
