Really liked the video, great job. The pipe really opens her up and lets her breathe, rpms stay up in the cut that says a lot about the saw and the new pipe 👍
Sweet pipe but I’m not sure I’d want a straight pipe exiting straight out the front when cutting in the summer. Especially with a short bar. Good way to catch a stump on fire. Looks to be well built regardless and lots of guys won’t be cutting when it’s a 100 like we do around here. 👍🏼
no need for all the decibels. the stock muff. is just fine if u open it up a little. the area of the outlet dont need to be more than 60% maybe 70% if ported, of the area of the inlet. all these silly pipes are a waste of $
We can take a piped saw and out cut a blowed out stock muffler any day, you should try a pipe, you don’t see a race car with gutted out mufflers do you ? 😂
There is going to be Dyno runs done soon with the same pipe that I have and a modified stock style muffler so we can truly see if the pipe is just a noise maker or if actually adds power
what is dumb is having the exhaust coming straight out so it rebounds off of the wood into your face. there are you happy with the spelling?@@IndianaDoug
@@davidgoliath982 do you think people go logging or work firewood with an exhaust like that or? It’s just a play saw man, I have several. It’s not even legal to have an open exhaust like this in a commercial environment. Also, that pipe doesn’t get in the way or blow anything in your face.
i get your point. as long as the person does not have any close neighbors that are irritated by it. i just dont get why people would want to be running a saw that loud. to each their own for sure but i feel the same way about overly loud vehicles. annoying as hearing the voice of killary clinton or kacklekunt harris. ok not quite that bad! lol - peace @@IndianaDoug
The support bracket on there is a very nice touch. Typically dont see that on a pipe style muffler.

This thing actually makes more power than my empty can with 2 3/4” outlet muffler. I was very surprised.
