I agree, when I saw the Marble Limpet Nerite snails at my LFS for the first time I thought they were unique. The owner had a hard time removing it from the aquarium glass because they have a super strong suction hold..hahaha. So he won't be moving tanks anytime soon.
The sand creates a nice bed for beneficial bacteria to grow in and my plants grow well in sand with aquasoil underneath. You could use any color sand you want though...
@@zsazsak879 not so far! I have shrimp in another tank without a lid and they don't crawl out. But if they aren't loving the water parameters they might try to escape, always a possibility.
Hope you enjoyed the video!
I love the shape of this one! So classic and yet so modern 👏
Thank you! The round shape definitely sets this tank apart.

Thank so much. It was a very rewarding build, and I am really enjoying my CPDs.
The Marple snail is very different looking. I like the variety of them in your tank.

Great build. Love the cpds!
They are very small and very cute. I think their colors will become more vibrant as they grow up.
This inspires me to build a fishbowl... where did get your fishbowl from?
I looked for the biggest bowl I could find....I found this at Michaels... an arts and craft store in the US and Canada. Let me know if you build one!
@@FishLoft Thank you!
Why did you use black sand?

How much water is in that bowl
I don't know exactly, but I think about 4 gallons.
@ thank you. Didn’t realize it was that large. Do the shrimp crawl out?
