Vizeh in his hitc sevens era
I’ve done 6 Iceberg videos prior to this in the last year😂
That doesn’t make his comment not true lol, it isn’t a bad thing we love these videos!
@@VizehSo that means that Alfie can do a list of 7 Vizeh Iceberg Videos You Definitely Should Watch. 🤣
this made me laugh more than it probably should. love them both 🖤

South African subscriber here - I was at the 3rd place playoff game in Port Elizabeth between Uruguay and Germany where it was the first game Suarez returned after missing the semi-final due to that red card. The about 40 000 strong crowd booed at him for almost the whole game and every single time he touched the ball, atmosphere was absolute hostile. Ended up being a highly entertaining game.
I expect nothing less in all honesty haha
Also from SA❤
@@erick.7362 You are correct. This guy is just making shit up. Straight red card is always at least two games, usually 3, so its basically impossible for him to have played this
@@hakonsivertsen800 nope, look it up. Suarez was in the starting 11 of that game
@@hakonsivertsen800 , it's only a 1 match suspension in Cup tournaments. He was suspended for the semi-final match against the Netherlands in Cape Town (which I attended) but played in the Bronze match.
23:31 What makes the incident worse is that the goalkeeper put a knife in his glove and that's where all the blood came from. Officials caught the goalkeeper pretending because on the cameras, the flair didn't hit the goalkeeper. Rather the goalkeeper used the knife to look injured.
That’s just mental
How tf did he know the Brazilians was going to throw a flair
@@jamierob1425I think it was probably staged but idk
also i want to add that Rojas went on to be a keeper trainer and worked in sao paolo, brazil, where he helped to train Rogerio Ceni
The Defoe story always brings a tear to my eye, regardless of club or country this is why football is so special, just little stories like that.
El Maracanazo is even more crazy than what was said in the video. Rojas actually inflicted injury to himself by cutting his head with a razor blade hidden in his glove to make it look like the flare had hit him, rather than just feign an injury. The game also played a role in the crash of Varig Flight 254, the pilots failed to notice they’d entered an incorrect flight plan as they were too busy looking for radio stations broadcasting the game. By the time they realised it was too late, running out of fuel before they could reach safety and crash-landing in the jungle, killing 13 people but surviving themselves.
WHAT??? The flight information is actually true??
I wrote the same thing about flight 254 before seeing this 😅
I think a valid entry in such an iceberg could be the football war. In 1969, a match between El Salvardor and Honduras became the the start of a full blown war, leading to around 3000 casualties. To be clear though, the match was not the reason for the war, as tension between the countries were high, but it became the catalist for tensions to spill over.
I’ve spoke of that I believe on the very first or second iceberg videos I did, that is a great nugget of information into football though
Pretty simple explanation:
The jabulani had turbulent flow on one side of the ball and laminar flow on the other side leading to an imbalance and spin
Same reason planes can get uplift from the wings
I prefer it being too round
Nothing simple about fluid dynamics
I understand this as an engineering student, but barely anyone else will
How did they achieve that?
How did they achieve that?
Gotta love getting the Vizeh notification and seeing it's a 50 min one
Happy to bring it back mate!
The Suarez situation is such a stupid one. First, the free kick which led to the handball shouldn't have been a free kick because it was offside. Second, it's not like he got away with it. Third and most importantly, who wouldn't have done what he did?
I just saw the moment leading up to the free kick, and there was no offside there at all. Not really sure why you would lie about that.
@@vperso There is an offside when the Ghanaian player heads next to the goalkeeper and the ball is left to a player who kicks the ball to goal but that player is offside when the previous player touches it with his head (there are many videos on TH-cam of the offside) if VAR would have existed Suarez would not have been sent off
People just luke to cry over that incident. Suarex is a dirty player, but Ghana was awarded a penalty . Ghana should have scored that . As simple as that
@@nicolascastillo7065 oh you guys meant during the free kick. My bad
Imagine hating Suarez because your player missed penalty 😂
Maturing is realizing that it wasn't Suarez's fault that Ghana were knocked out. He wasn't the one who missed the penalty, he just did whatever it took to help Uruguay.
People can hate on him all they want (in many instances rightfully so) but Suarez punching the ball off the line resulting in a straight red card and penalty is absolutely preferable to the last man back doing a scissors kick on a striker through on goal and breaking his leg
It's an insanely ballsy tactical foul and the people comparing this to Maradona vs England or Henry vs Ireland are taking it way too far
No. It was dishonourable.
@@Ligerpride Ghana can keep crying, Morocco knocked out Portugal/Ronaldo they had it harder 👍
Agree, Suarez just trying to win for his nations
Future bailer/politician here
These iceberg vids are fantastic please make more
Will do mate!
Even as a Liverpool fan I feel like I have to point out that the reason United kept taking off in Munich was because the FA board demanded that they be in England something like 3 days before their next league game. So they couldn’t stay overnight or else they forfeited the game. Could be wrong but I think that’s why
So, I can actually help with the Jabulani issue!
Basically, the modern ball has a certain number of panels with a certain depth of the grooves around it. Goes back to the old Telstar ball or whatever. But because these grooves are where they are and are the depth they are, they wick the air around the ball a certain way, which makes the ball fly smoother through the air. Same physics principle as a golf ball with the dimples on it. The dimples on the golf ball wick the air around it as it spins, meaning it displaces the air a lot easier, resulting in a smoother, more predictable flight.
The Jabulani, however, did not have these grooves. As a result, even when it was spinning, it was essentially just pushing the air out of the way, not "pulling" it behind itself, which made it extremely sensitive to even the tiniest changes in the air it was trying to go through. Hence, it flying all over the place. It operated like a knuckleball in baseball.
Love watching these longer videos keep up the great work man. Love your content ❤
Kinda disappointed that the Indonesian football tragedy in 2022 not being deserved as a big mentions. It still hurts football fans across the world, as the death toll of that tragedy after the Arema-Persebaya derby easily overwhelms the death tolls of the likes of Heysel and Hillsborough. Same thing goes for the Egypt football tragedy in 2012 (Al Masry vs Al Ahly), which also destroyed the country's reputation a lot due to the events being related to the political revolution a year earlier.
Great to see you doing another iceberg video. Hope everything is going well in your personal life. You can see the dedication in your videos and they are always a great watch. Have a great evening because I know I am going to have one😊

We all love you Vizeh cant wait till you reach 1 million subs you deserve it brother ❤
Stop hating on the vuvuzela. It's part of our South African tradition and culture.
Interesting fact that the vuvuzela was made by a Kaizer Chefs fan.He got the idea from the aluminium 1965 bicycle horn, and after taking off the black rubber, he blew it. After that, he thought it was too short, and so he joined a pipe to make it longer.
Wooo!
Having ton of work and feeling bored af and then seeing Vizeh upload a 50 minute long video gotta be the best feeling ever!
I always love your iceberg videos they’re always top quality
Glad you like them!❤️
Love watching your videos! I am always looking forward to your next video. 🤗
This isn't a dig at Vizeh, more the state of TH-cam. But having to censor words like "Killed" and "Death" because of potential demonetisation is daft

im 23yrs old now and an arsenal fan, to this day i still remember watching that arsenal vs birmingham game (i was 7 at the time) where eduardo got tackled, and my dad telling me and physically taking me away from the tv when it happened because of how horrific and graphic it was. the worst tackle in football history ever.
love the ice berg vids
Grande Torino incident should certainly be mentioned
Wow this is amazing. Keep it up!
❤
From my understanding, El Maracanazo was when Brazil were upset 1-2 against Uruguay in the 1950 WC final, which was played at the Maracana stadium. Didn't know the Chile goalie incident was called the same.
Yeah, thats the Maracanazo, causing thowsands of fans taking his lives due to that loss
Been watching you a whkle now class videos mate
This content has been stepped up majorly recently
Iceberg videos are just soo good 💯💯
Thanks man!
The iceberg videos is one of the best content to watch.

I believe the issue with the Jabulani being too round is basically due to the fact that the spin was inconsistent, therefore making shots tend to knuckleball far more often. When a ball has more irregularities on it (e.g.: the panels of a football, the stitches of a baseball, the dimples of a golfball), the rotation of the ball tends to create differences in air pressure (see: Coriolis force). The part moving forward (in relation to the ball's flight) tends to impact the air and slow it down, while the part moving backward tends to help pull the air back around the ball. This causes high pressure in the former area and low air pressure in the latter. And in order to try and reach an state of equilibrium, the ball will try to move toward the area of low pressure.
This is why if you hit a ball on the right side, as it spins through the air, the right side moves forward and increases the air pressure on that side while the left side moves backward and decreases the air pressure on that side. Therefore, the ball will attempt to move to the left as it flies.
The closer a ball is to perfectly round, the less this force can affect the ball, and the more erratic the movement of a ball will be. The smaller variances in air pressure will have a much greater effect on the ball's movement. This is why the Jabulani was touted as having so much movement... because it did. It's just that the movement wasn't consistent and predictable.
I believe we should bring the Jabulani back
The Australia Witch Doctor story is just crazy. It could happen to anyone and any team! Sends shiver to my spine.
I do think the Catania-Palermo derby of 2007 should've been added, it really showed how violent Ultras were not even 20 years ago
The victims of that violence was the police officer. It's quite embarrassing. Also, later on that year, the Italian police did a big mistake that resulted in the death of the Lazio fan (I think), and that death sparked numerous football violences across Italy.
can already tell this gon be a banger still!
You know the channel is good when you see a 51 minute video, and still feel like you could listen to more. 🔥
I loved the use of minecraft music during this video I love iceberg videos but that made it so much better lol
Anytime I hear Bradley’s story I get choked up because i actually knew a kid like him
Rest in peace Kev and Chris
The problem with Jabulani was twofold. It was too light and it didn’t have as deep a recess as most other balls, which would have an aerodynamic impact.
The Adam Johnson situation is horrible, but the chants we got from rival fans were great
Rangers were the second team to play in the San siro with no fans after the incident with AC Milan it was our only defeat in the Champions League that year but we only won one game against Porto and drew 4, qualified with 7 points only to draw 2-2 then 1-1 and lose on away goals to a very very good Villarreal side. I think they had only conceded one goal in the group stages and almost made the final that year.
I remember watching the Ryan mason injury game, it was a horrible moment. I was glad that Chelsea got the win but it was extremely sad what happened on the way there; you knew something was wrong when there was 9 minutes of first half stoppage time in those days
Vizeh cooking as always
78 World Cup was 4 years before the Falklands. Winning the WC was nothing to do with that war and more likely to improve the image of the military junta in Argentina
Fun fact Vizeh: El Maracanãzo ended up actually playing a part in the infamous crash of Varig 254, as the pilots of the 737-200 were hoping to get to their destination as quick as they could to watch the game, but a navigational error lead them to get lost, run out of fuel and crash. The worst part was what actually happened in the game.
Sorry I saw the other comment now 😅
great stuff
The Italy 1934 World Cup one. Might be fixed, might not be, but also a little unknown fact about that Italy squad. Mussolini went to te locker room, I wanna say this was before the final was played, and told the team “win this game, or I’ll have you all killed”
Chile Vs Argentina…. Small mistake. You say it was the time of the Falklands War. It was the time of the “Dirty War” aka the years of the Dictatorship. Falklands War was 1982. Great videos as usual
Jermaine Dafoe and Bradley was one of the most touching football stories of all time
these videos are always a W
does show the quality of vizehs videos atm how fast I’ve clicked this
Is this a reupload? I could've sworn I had watched it before

I think you left out one of the most disturbing events in football history... The assassination of Andres Escobar after he scored an own goal for his national team of Colombia in the USA World Cup of 94... But as always GREAT VIDEO! Keep the hard and excellent work.
its in the other iceberg video
W video, actually learnt something
Eduardo DaSilva my favorite player when i was a kid i miss that guy

If you watch that Victor Bradley section and dont shed a tear then thats just criminal
No story will make me cry but Bradley Lowery
Dam two sunderland apperances on here what a crazy journey it must of been for long term fans
I got goose flesh when i heard that with Bradley even though i already knew. RIP
Im saving this for later. I need to stay happy and not watch depressing stuff after that amazing win against man u
Love the iceberg vids but I’ve been curious if you shop ships to the U.S.?
Nice vid ❤
The story of the goalkeeper getting banned for life was wrong. He had a blade in his glove and cut himself to make it seem as if he was injured. When replays were shown the people banned him and gave Brazil a 3-0 win
Is there anything better than breakfast with Vizeh video
I know what im watching after work thanks boss 👍
Either a crazy deja vu or this is a re-upload because I know for a fact I've heard you imitate the vuvuzela before
Argentina's government had to cleanse their image after the Falklands war? 1978 was 4 years before that even happened, bro. You probably meant the DIRTY war, which was the Argentine military government vs Argentina's own citizens and was in full swing in the late 70s. Also, Peru wasn't the final, it was the final match of the second group stage. The final was Argentina vs Netherlands, 4 days later.
The falklands war happened 4 years before the 1986 World Cup, not during Videla's de facto presidency. And it was an important motivation for Maradona and his team. On the other hand, it is considered that Argentina's international reputation during Videla's government was questionable for the way the State decided to deal with communist terrorism. Essencially, the argentine government decided to kidnap anyone believed to have anything to do with terrorists (which were tortured and others were thrown from helicopters to the sea). Some of those kidnapped men and women were students, so an organization made up of their mothers sent a letter to the UN telling that the victims were 30,000 (which was a lie, in reality the victims were officialy >8,000. And most of them did in fact worked with terrorists or were terrorists themselves).
In next video talked about 72 guy who dead in alahlyegypt vs elmasary that was so dramatic
Eduardo or as we call him Dudu is legend i mean man played for Dinamo Zagreb and played for our national team .
