Ron’s best line is his last line in the books. “Why are they all staring?" demanded Albus as he and Rose craned around to look at the other students. "Don’t let it worry you," said Ron. "It’s me. I’m extremely famous.”
Right? She was probably thinking “are we in the right universe?” Lol! I’m totally blind, but my mom made sure to tell me how surprised she looked. Sadly, audio description failed to mention that lmao

My favourite line of Fred and George(from book): We should have got an E in our OWL’s. We exceeded expectations just by showing up for the exams. Sums up their character perfectly😂
“A child's voice, however honest and true, is meaningless to those who've forgotten how to listen.” - Albus Dumbledore Without a doubt my favorite quote from the series
Such a good list. A favorite movie line for Lucius Malfoy would’ve been “Well if it rains, you’ll be the first to know.” Insulting a whole family in one sentence
Personally, I think Dumbledore's best line is "Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean it's not real?" and Voldemort's is "Harry Potter... The boy who lived... Come... to die."
After you made that joke about the "Shoelace" line, I was kind of expecting you to do the same thing with the infamous "HARRY, DIDJA PUT YER NAME IN THE GOBLET OF FIAA?!?!" with Dumbledore.
@@grand_admiral_henrich4416 Jason Isaacs is AMAZING as Lucius. You know, he actually punctured Tom Felton's hand with his cane. In the scene, in Borgen and Burkes, when he hits Draco's hand and says "Don't touch anything." The fangs on his cane accidentally went into Tom's hand.
Narcissa wasn't just afraid for Draco but she also would have been freaked out that Voldemort hit Harry with the killing curse twice and it didn't kill him either time. At that point she probably would have been thinking that Voldemort is gonna lose.
Hell yeah the line “Give her hell from us Peeves” was legendary. What makes it even better was Peeves’ reaction, he saluted them, and then proceeded to do exactly that, which even got McGonagall siding with him, actually muttering to him “the chandlier unscrews the other way.”
My favourite dumbeldore line(s) is in the half blood prince. In the start at slughorn’s house he tells Harry not to worry because “you are with me” and then at the end after getting the fake locket, he tells Harry he’s not worried because “I am with you”. Easily my favourite piece of writing in any piece of media
even more to this - when Harry gives Ron, Hermione & Ginny the remainder of his Felix Felicis before going locket-hunting with Dumbledore, he also tells them "i won't need luck, i'll be safe because i'll be with Dumbledore".
Mine, from that movie, is when they are talking to slughorn and Dumbledore asks slughorn if he can take the knitting magazine. Dumbledore says "I do enjoy reading knitting patterns." I am a knitter and really enjoy reading, and trying, new knitting patterns.
I'm quite fond of Harry telling Mrs. Weasley "I like a quiet life, you know me" in Half-Blood Prince. A nice self-aware injection of humor to make her feel better during a tough time. Genuinely a funny line, but it's nice in context too
My favorite line is when Dumbledore says: "Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?” The whole entire Harry Potter Universe came from inside JK Rowling's head, and she made it real by generously sharing her story with the world. Thank you JK!!!
Evanna Lynch for me is the best casting decision they've made. The only other actors in the series that embraced and fall for their characters this much is Tom Felton. Which is ironic because evanna is a big fan of the series and always wanted to be Luna while Tom Felton just randomly auditioned without reading any books but somehow got casted
What a banger this video is! I really love "Dobby has no master! Dobby is a free elf, and Dobby has come to save Harry Potter and his friends!" My second favorite is: "It is one's conviction that matters for the quality of success, not the number of followers." It's from Prof. Lupin.
McGonagall's favorite line for me is in the movie Chamber of Secrets when Ron says they are going to be expelled and Professor McGonagall says, "Not today"
I’d say it’s just as wick as “I KILLED SIRIUS BLACK” bc both show her lack of remorse and regret for her actions that led two children to be unloved for years throughout their childhoods.
@@Annah.k Seriously, I loved the way that line was delivered. It was nothing like what I was hearing in my head while reading it. Carter delivered it as if she’d just won an amusement park competition or something, it was great and it gives me chills every time.
My favorite line of Jacob’s from the first Fantastic Beasts Film is when he was getting Obliviated he says “It’s just like waking up right?” It was so heartbreaking to heart that
For me Hagrid's best line from movie was, "shouldn't have said that, I should not have said that." cause I relate to it so much not being able to keep my big mouth shut 🥲
For the Remus one id say his last movie line is powerful too, "it is the quality of ones convictions that determines success not the amount of followers." Used it in my graduation speech too
It's just an opinion but for me my favourite quote for George was also when they were leaving Hogwarts and he said 'special discount to Hogwarts students who use our products to get rid of this old bat' Ik it's not exactly same but I'm glad I remember it it's really funny.
My all time favorite line from Mcgonagall was from when Umbridge wanted to throw Prof. Trelawney out of Hogwarts, and she goes : ` is there anything you would like to say? and Minerva goes all : ` Oh, there are several things I would like to say!` cracks me up everytime.
My favorite line from Harry is “Look at madam bones, and emmeline Vance, it could be me next, couldn’t it? But if it is, I will make sure that I take as many death eaters with me as possible and Voldemort himself too, if I can manage it!” SUPER UNDERRATED LINE
My favorite line is Voldemort's response in Half Blood Prince to the rumors Dumbledore heard of what he did after leaving school: "Greatness inspires envy, envy engenders spite, spite spawns lies. You must know this, Dumbledore." While the context of the line shows that it is a half-hearted attempt to deny what the rumors say, the line itself is accurate. Successful and impressive people do indeed inspire jealousy in others, and that jealousy does often lead to spiteful lies. Likewise, Dumbledore would know this given that his reputation in the Wizarding World is divided between people who revere him and people who despise and fear him. I also like Voldemort's line to Nagini in Deathly Hallows Part 2: "The boy has discovered our secret, Nagini. It makes us vulnerable. We must deploy all our forces now to find him. And you, my friend, must stay close." It's the only time Voldemort ever speaks to anyone as though they are his equal, which hints that Nagini is more than just a snake, something which we now know to be true given the Crimes of Grindelwald movie. He also addresses her by her name, so he's not talking to the soul fragment in her when he says "my friend" and "our forces". While he does call the Death Eaters his friends sometimes, he never speaks to them like they are his equals. This implies that he really does respect Nagini, which confirms Dumbledore's statement that Voldemort cares for Nagini as much as he can care for anything.
Also you know the soul doesn’t make the creatures personality and mind. Harry had a part of Voldemort’s soul through his whole life. It gives a connection and maybe pain but idk since Harry was an accident but Nagini wasn’t. But same point. There’s a connection but you know he’s speaking to Nagini not himself because as proven by Harry having part of a soul doesn’t mean having the mind of the person. Also I didn’t finish the whole Fantastic Beast yet but I know Nagini was trapped in a creature oddity show and abused so I kinda feel bad for her ultimate death knowing what I do. I’ll finish the movie and tell what I feel about it then
McGonagall has the best quotes in both books and films. In the films, I love "Yes Longbottom. BOOM!" and her asking Umbridge, if she wants an anti-cough fudge, as she repeatadly coughed interrupting her in her office. In the books, "That, was very KNIGHTLY from you, Potter", got me, when Harry used crucio on Amycus Carrow (or Alecto, idk)
arguably i wouldve said voldemort's best quote in the movies would be in the first movie during his reveal to harry he says "There is no good or evil, only power. And those to weak to seek it." to me that rlly shows he has no emotion, only feeling, and a strong feeling for power.
My favorite Umbridge line is “I WILL HAVE ORDER!!” because it’s just so funny that she was about to get kidnapped by centaurs but that’s still all she cared about. 😂😂
One of my favorite lines in the entire series : “Of course it’s happening inside your head. Why on earth should it means that it’s not real?” - Dumbledore
Petunia's lines really gets me, and after i saw that scene i immediately thought (and i hope this is canon in some way) the night after the dursleys found harry in front of their door. Vernon and dudley is already sleeping, harry is probably sleeping, and petunia just crying silently. still thinking about the fact that she never had a chance to mend her relationship with her sister, never had a chance to say sorry for what she did. that's why she abuse harry for all these years, a mix of bitterness for her own unfulfilled desires to become part of wizarding world and regret because harry is a living reminder of her dead sister made her resents harry so much. That deleted scene is still one of my favorite one, and it's really a shame that they have to cut that out.
My favourite line from Jacob is from Crimes of Grindlewald, seeing the vision of the future says "Not Another War", Jacob being a World War 1 vet is underplayed and all the comedy aside, the things he had to see in his past, thinking it was "the war to end war" and to find out that another one far worse was on the way.
"I don't go looking for trouble, trouble usually finds me" was also in the Prisoner Of Azkaban PC game, & "constant vigilance" was also in the Goblet Of Fire video game!
21:35 - That was also David Bradley's favorite line. Filch apparently said in the first book, but when it didn't appear in the movie, Bradley asked the director if he could say it in the second one and so that's what happened.
Not the best quote but best line delivery from (Tom Felton) Draco in the Half Blood Prince: "I have to do this. I have to kill you. Or he's gonna kill me"
Fun fact, in the chamber of secrets, when you hear Mr Wesley say: "What is the function of a rubber duck?" Each take the actor said something different, so it would always catch Daniel Radcliff (Harry Potter) off gaurd
Filch's best novel line (I don't know if its in the movies) is by far in the Deathly Hallows when he screams, "STUDENTS OUT OF BED" when the students were escaping the Death Eaters
Movie Harry quote is probably my favorite movie Harry quote as well. That whole scene of Harry trying to fight off Voldemort and using love and friendship as his defense, thinking of happy moments in his life with Ron, Hermione, Sirius, Lupin…it makes me cry 😭
For Tom Riddle, while the speech is changed for the movie, I do love the way Christian Coulson delivered your chosen quote from the book. So much power and rage. You could see the Voldemort within that
for Remus, love the afterlife quote, but I also love the quote when the trio are camping and listening to Potter Watch on the radio, "Trust in Harry, his instincts are nearly always right."
I love Hagrid's moment with Hermione in the Chamber Of Secrets movie when he tells her "Don't think on it for one minute" after Draco insulted her... that moment true my shows how kind hearted he is ♥️

Hell yeah the line “Give her hell from us Peeves” was legendary. What makes it even better was Peeves’ reaction, he saluted them, and then proceeded to do exactly that, which even got McGonagall siding with him, actually muttering to him “the chandlier unscrews the other way.”
🎉😂🎉😂🎉😂🎉😂❤
6:53 That “Always” always gives me goosebumps. Every time. Alan Rickman was such a great actor. RIP
When us men fall for a woman, it is often the rest of our life.
I still think Ginny’s best movie line is during the Quidditch try outs when she just yells “SHUT IT” 😂
shoelace xd
Pretty much the only good thing about the trash pile of a movie.
@@zjean3417 the movie wasn't that bad... but yeah
@@agamaz5650 it was
@@Movie_Blizzard don't worry Harry... I'm with you...
I'm quite fond of Harry telling Mrs. Weasley "I like a quiet life, you know me" in Half-Blood Prince. A nice self-aware injection of humor to make her feel better during a tough time. Genuinely a funny line, but it's nice in context too
100% 👍
I think that line is from HBP
@@stefan4159 Oh yeah you're right
Thats a good one
"you did not lose only a mother that night in godrics hollow,I lost a sister" was in the movie
My favorite line is when Dumbledore says: "Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?”
The whole entire Harry Potter Universe came from inside JK Rowling's head, and she made it real by generously sharing her story with the world. Thank you JK!!!
I feel like that line is applicable to so much it's almost universal. A Stellar line all around.
I think Luna's best line is "You aren't going mad, I can see them too. You're just as sane as I am" In HP and the Order of the Phoenix
That’s a bit worrying yet comforting if Luna is telling you that
@@reddeath5791 Fr
Evanna Lynch for me is the best casting decision they've made. The only other actors in the series that embraced and fall for their characters this much is Tom Felton. Which is ironic because evanna is a big fan of the series and always wanted to be Luna while Tom Felton just randomly auditioned without reading any books but somehow got casted
Harry's best movie line was actually this:" I'm sorry professor, i must not tell lies" it so badazz
YES exactly
What a banger this video is! I really love "Dobby has no master! Dobby is a free elf, and Dobby has come to save Harry Potter and his friends!" My second favorite is: "It is one's conviction that matters for the quality of success, not the number of followers." It's from Prof. Lupin.
But the timing for Lupin was hilarious 😂
@@suhanisharma8944 That’s true! I can’t stop laughing when Kingsley asks: “Who said that?” Lupin says: “Me.”
I think Luna's best line is "You're just as sane as I am." I love that line so much!❤😊
McGonagall's favorite line for me is in the movie Chamber of Secrets when Ron says they are going to be expelled and Professor McGonagall says, "Not today"
I get a kick out of the "bumbling band of baboons" line. I wonder how many takes were required, since that's quite a tongue-twister.
Also my favourite George quote (from the books) was when he said:
“Well, you’ll be able to tell us apart now Mum”
this was after the ear-blasting?
@Max Wiebe Yep
@@maxwiebe357 yea
Hermione's best line was definitely "You Foul Loathsome Evil Little Cockroach!"
Actually, I’d say Bellatrix’s best (& most evil) movie line was “How’s mum & dad?”
It was to neville right?
@@Wailmur yep
Love her… she’s the best worse villainess!! No conscience whatsoever!!! Just wicked🤣❣️
For the Remus one id say his last movie line is powerful too, "it is the quality of ones convictions that determines success not the amount of followers." Used it in my graduation speech too
"Who said that?"
"Me. Just now."
“I can teach you how to bewitch the mind, ensnare the senses, bottle fame, brew glory, and put a stopper on death.” -Severus Snape’s best Line
Let’s not forget Harry most epic sassy line ever.
There’s no need to call me sir professor
Funny, laugh every time it happens
I love that line so much
What movie is that in and what chapter if u remember
@@aru-quit i think it’s in the half blood prince

My favorite Hagrid line is from Philosopher's Stone. "I shouldn't have said that. I should NOT have said that." Pure Hagrid!
Dobby and Hagrid spent the most time remorsing on what they have said😂
I didn't realise this was commented and made the same comment hehe 🥲
They add that Scence with Pius în The 3rd Universe
Never knew Pius was în this battle Usually cut off from the movie
În The Battle of Hogwarts
My first thought for Dumbledore's movie quote: "DIDYAHPUTYERNAMEINTHEGOBLETOFIAYEEEERRR"
It's just an opinion but for me my favourite quote for George was also when they were leaving Hogwarts and he said 'special discount to Hogwarts students who use our products to get rid of this old bat'
Ik it's not exactly same but I'm glad I remember it it's really funny.
My all time favorite line from Mcgonagall was from when Umbridge wanted to throw Prof. Trelawney out of Hogwarts, and she goes : ` is there anything you would like to say? and Minerva goes all : ` Oh, there are several things I would like to say!` cracks me up everytime.
Dobby's best lielne is "Dobby did not mean to kill just to maim or seriously injure" it shows how funny he can be
My favorite line from Harry is
“Look at madam bones, and emmeline Vance, it could be me next, couldn’t it? But if it is, I will make sure that I take as many death eaters with me as possible and Voldemort himself too, if I can manage it!”
SUPER UNDERRATED LINE
Love this one also any of his sassy moments would do it "No need to call me Sir, Professor"
My favorite line is Voldemort's response in Half Blood Prince to the rumors Dumbledore heard of what he did after leaving school:
"Greatness inspires envy, envy engenders spite, spite spawns lies. You must know this, Dumbledore."
While the context of the line shows that it is a half-hearted attempt to deny what the rumors say, the line itself is accurate. Successful and impressive people do indeed inspire jealousy in others, and that jealousy does often lead to spiteful lies. Likewise, Dumbledore would know this given that his reputation in the Wizarding World is divided between people who revere him and people who despise and fear him.
I also like Voldemort's line to Nagini in Deathly Hallows Part 2:
"The boy has discovered our secret, Nagini. It makes us vulnerable. We must deploy all our forces now to find him. And you, my friend, must stay close."
It's the only time Voldemort ever speaks to anyone as though they are his equal, which hints that Nagini is more than just a snake, something which we now know to be true given the Crimes of Grindelwald movie.
They were pretty profound.
I’ll finish the movie and tell what I feel about it then
I almost cried when Lily was like “mama loves you Harry, dada loves you, be brave, be strong, Harry” 😭😭
I did cry
Imagine baby Harry seeing a complete stranger hugging his dead moms body after she dies
Harry's best line is definitely "no need to call me sir, professor"
McGonagall has the best quotes in both books and films. In the films, I love "Yes Longbottom. BOOM!" and her asking Umbridge, if she wants an anti-cough fudge, as she repeatadly coughed interrupting her in her office. In the books, "That, was very KNIGHTLY from you, Potter", got me, when Harry used crucio on Amycus Carrow (or Alecto, idk)
10:32 don’t forget Morgan
Minerva: why is it always you 3
Ron believe me I’ve been asking myself that question for 6 years
Sums up the whole series 😂😂😂😂
@@locksure FRR
arguably i wouldve said voldemort's best quote in the movies would be in the first movie during his reveal to harry he says "There is no good or evil, only power.
"I don't go looking for trouble. Trouble usually finds me"
definitely sounds like something I would say
dude-
been admirng your work for a while
pls dont kill me
I think Argus's line was also said by Peeves in the first book, "Oh dear we are in trouble"
Apparently they both said it in the first book. XD
The thumbnail
"not my daughter you bitch" and then Snape's like "always"
Oh yeah just noticed that lol
One of my favorite lines in the entire series :
“Of course it’s happening inside your head. Why on earth should it means that it’s not real?”
- Dumbledore
8:30 always gets me... and "dobbys never meant to kill!! Only to seriously injure or maim!!"
Love it ❤
Petunia's lines really gets me, and after i saw that scene i immediately thought (and i hope this is canon in some way) the night after the dursleys found harry in front of their door.
12:03 i honestly thought you would have had the line in order of the phoenix where bellatrix says to neville: "how's mom and dad"
The best line in Harry Potter is when Tonks says to Mad Eye Don't call me Nymphadora and her hair turns purple
Best line of Sirius black was "We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are."
I like the Ron quote when he said something on the lines of “why did it have to be follow the spiders, why couldn’t it be follow the butterflies”
To me, Hagrid’s best line is : Shut up, Dursley, you great prune ! 😂😂😂😂😂
"Do not pity the dead Harry, pity the living, and, above all, those who live without love."
This probably has to be the best line in Harry Potter.
You could see the Voldemort within that
Can we just appreciate movie flam for working so hard for us?
for Remus, love the afterlife quote, but I also love the quote when the trio are camping and listening to Potter Watch on the radio, "Trust in Harry, his instincts are nearly always right."
Favorite line from fav character
"Better now that they're about to be avenged!" That's my boy Neville!
6:20 “HARRYDIDYOUPUTYOURNAMEINTHEGOBLETOFFIRE👹😡‼️” was robbed
My favorite Hagrid line isn't insperational but it's funny
Hermione: "He called me a mudblood"
Hagrid: " He did not!"
17:15 this line was in the book. It was phrased a little bit differently, but it was in the book. That is my favourite line of Lockhart.
I love Hagrid's moment with Hermione in the Chamber Of Secrets movie when he tells her "Don't think on it for one minute" after Draco insulted her... that moment true my shows how kind hearted he is ♥️
That’s my favorite Hagrid movie quote too.
