Hedwig is a death that isn’t talked about enough. Hedwig has always been there and even when Harry was at the Dursleys and he was cut off from the wizarding world, he still had Hedwig as a reminder of the world that he loved so much.
I'm still not over Sirius's death he's definitely one of the best character that doesn't deserved to be accused, ruined his life and gets killed when him and Sirius were going to be a family together. it's so sad.
I'm still not over Remus and Tonks, myself. If anyone deserved a happy ending, it was Remus. Watch his face in the OOTP movie when he's trying to hold Harry back from trying to go into the Veil to find Sirius. He's not crying like Harry, but there is so much pain etched across it. Pain over the fact that he's just lost his final true friend from his childhood.
@@ladycplum yeah, I feel like they’re death and hedwigs are the ones that still really get to me. Especially Tonks, people who only watched the movies don’t understand how hard her death hits for the book readers.
@@ladycplum Remus and Tonks actually were supposed to survive as well, because Arthur was supposed to die in OOTP, but Rowling eventually decided against it, because she didn't want Arthurs dead to be overshadowed by Sirius's. What i take comfort in though, is that knowing that it was Remus's death that put Harry over the edge in deciding finally to confront Voldemort because he had enough. Remus's death ultimately was not in vain, as it was the catalyst for the victory. Yes, Remus deserved a happy ending and in a way, he got it as well, as i believe Remus could have never be truly happy when alive, due to him being a Werewolf and him having lost all his friends from childhood. Remus got re-united with James, Sirius and Lily in the end.
for me, the most heart breaking death was surius. remus holding harry back had me sobbing. the fact that remus had just lost his only childhood friend left and was in so much pain but had to restrain someone else who was equally hurting just broke me.
I agree, they even had to mute Daniel Radcliffes scream since it was so traumatising, (his grandma had died on the day of filming that scene) they showed it to Emma Watson and Helena Bonham-Carter and they instantly started crying
Yeah but I still think her death in the books was pretty sad. Especially that not only Harry had to watch her die, but he had to let her body go rather than properly burying her.
Percival Dumbledore was a real one for killing those who hurt his daughter Hedwig’s death probably hit me the hardest tbh, Harry cared so much about her which they didn’t really show in the films and I think the books depicted it better. How harry would yell at her and then immediately feel bad, or one line mentions him “feeling guilty for shouting at hedwig” and in the fifth book when Hedwig was injured he deadass walked out of class and convinced MCGONAGALL to let him take her to magical creatures teacher (don’t remember her name) bc he was worried about her. When he fleed privet Drive with the weasleys he risked them all getting caught for hedwig and his first question was to let her fly beside him out the cage. I think it also mentions him letting hedwig share some of his food and drink a couple times and she was with him for every moment since he found about wizardry.
The page in Deathly Hallows where Harry shows Hedwig around Dursleys' house in Privet Drive one last time before they leave was rather sad imo. Especially since that was the last moment they had together before Hedwig died
Florean's death is one of the saddest imo. A happy, kind man just caught in the crossfire. I remember in POA him giving free ice cream stuck with me for ages!
Yeah really I cried my heart out about Florean Fortesque, not only free Ice-creams he helped with His Favorite and Harry's Least-favorite topic, History of Magic. He was a helpful, gentle and loving man. I love FF. But given that they even accused innocent Stan for a crime he never committed, what else could be expected from the corrupt Ministry. How will they save people when they are busy saving their necks.

Here's a small Harry potter headcannon: The only time Harry's son, James, ever felt selfconcious at hogwarts, was when he introduced himself to the ghost of a small boy as Harry potters son, and the ghost started taking photos of him with his camera.
Id never expect Czsworld to know Movieflame. Also, Czsworld, do you like Harry Potter? (Also, I do watch both Czsworld and Dead Meat and of course MovieFlame)
I always saw Snape as the asshole teacher, that had your back after the first book and movie The book tried to demonize him, but its written from Harry's Perspective If Harry chose Slitherin Snape would have favored Harry over Malfoy till Dumbaldoor said return to Voldamort Because hed see James in Harry, but hed see more of himself in him aswell An outcast, with a destiny. Tied to people who you love and few who do love you, but tied to people who need to use you And not always seeing a difference between the right thing and the selfless act Because they usually factor themself last in the equation

He actually forgot one more death. Collin and Dennis Creevy (Dennis being one year younger than his brother) both snuck back to Hogwarts to fight. I always thought Voldemort's death in the movies was just wrong. It made him mythical. The fact that he died like an ordinary man in the books was so important. In a sense it broke the spell he had cast over the wizarding world where people were scared to say his name even when they presumed him to be dead. His completely ordinary death robbed him of the mythical persona he had created for himself. Also that Harry pointed out that his sacrifice was protecting others just like his mother's sacrifice had protected him was very powerful. Love was still beating Voldemort. Even all these years after his initial downfall.

@@michaeldoesthings_124 no the movie death sucks. When tf did it say in the books that he disintegrated?? He didn’t deserve that special of a death. He was meant to die like a normal person.
Whenever Harry was alone, Hedwig was with him since the first movie. It's so sad that in movies, they did not show Harry mourning for Hedwig like in books and not even mentioning her later except just one time. I feel like her death was really underrated in movies and books both, maybe because she was an animal, so many people don't care much about her. *R.I.P. Hedwig, the most loyal soul to Harry Potter* Respect for Rufus Scrimgeour, RIP the best Minister of Magic ever. Respect+ for Harry Potter for giving that burial to Prof. Moody. RIP Prof. Mad-Eye Moody.
Hedwig was not underrated, but you have to put her death into perspective of all the deaths in the series especially during that same flying fight. Also, Rufus was not the best minister, he only redeemed himself when refusing to give up Harry in the end
I usually say that Remus + Tonks we’re the saddest deaths, but honestly, it was Cedric’s, and I’m a little surprised so few people mention him. There’s always a lot of talk about Harry being too young for it all, but Cedric was 17 too, and he didn’t get the chance to decide to risk his life or die. It was tragic, and it was one of the best possible ways to begin the 2nd Wizarding War.
The fact that no one talks about james and Lily's death like james died to save his wife and his son and Lily died to save her only son she proved that it does not matter that you are muggle born
I definitely agree, Cedric’s death hit me really hard. After all the struggling to win the cup, he was cast aside. The pure elation of winning was brutally transformed into complete confusion, and then, nothing. And his dad, oh my goodness, I bawled. It should have been one of the most important day for his son. Instead, his intense pride in his son was quickly stripped away, replaced with pain and despair. “My son, that’s my boy!” Broke my heart.
Out of all the YA movie series, the Deathly Hallows are the only ones that truly captured the horrors of war. Great job on the director and production team by focusing on the deaths of random individuals rather than a nameless mass massacre. Its a timeless piece.
Dobby Snape (hes an asshole for the right reason, and the book is from Harry's bias) Lupin And Tonks Sirius But kinda happy sad, in the book he dosent leave a body behind. Scary to watch sure, but thats actually pretty biblical to transfigure with your body when you die I think Dumbaldoor had a plan for Sirius leaving him locked up wile Barry grew up
Honestly, I did love that scene but I kind of wish it was both Molly and Neville longbottom just because then it would be representative of one who is about to lose a loved one and one who had already lost loved ones
i think about this a lot: imagine how different the series would’ve been if cedric hadn’t died. (somehow not altering the plot line of voldemort’s return, maybe someone else could’ve died idrk) he would’ve been an amazing friend to harry, and a hero to the wizarding world during various battles/wars. cedric was such a sweet and cute character, and i would’ve loved to have had him appear more in the series. he was the perfect example of a hufflepuff, and his death really got to me :(
And he would have told everyone about sirius's innocence cause he saw Peter and Sirius would have been off the black list and that could have prevented His death too(if we look at the book perspective)
It hit me hard too. I think it may be to do with the fact that she represents what the Ministry was SUPPOSED to be. She wasn't corrupt, she pursued justice, she was intelligent, thoughful and fair. Almost every other non-Auror Ministry employee was either a Death Eater, imperiused by a Death Eater, or a corrupt and/or incompetent fool.
So no one's gonna talk about Sirius? He was literally Harry's only actual father and he died. He was also killed by his own cousin and everyone still thought he was evil as he was dying. He was blamed for so many deaths and the escape of 10 death eaters (including Bellatrix, the same person who killed him) I don't know if Sirius's name was cleared after his death but im not so sure. Sadly, he not only lost Peter Pettigrew to the Darkside, but Pettigrew betrayed them all, getting James and Lily killed. When Sirius found out he tracked Pettigrew down only to get framed by him of his best friend's death. And everyone believed it. That's a sad life. He was also accused of wanting to kill his own godson, literally the only remainder of his best friend. And was still believed so by the end of the book. I can't. It's so painful and I cry all the time when I think about it.
Absolutely absolutely! His fate was the most unfair and disastrous right from the beginning till the very end. His manic family, loss of 2 best friends, betrayal of one, framed for murder and chucked in Azkaban, and finally when he manages to flee he's to go undercover for a year and then lock himself up for another year at a place he hates above all. And his death !! I just can't get over how silly the events that led to it were- a 100 things could have prevented it- such a pathetic way to die for man who suffered for the most part of his life. He had his douche moments with Snape and Kreacher, but he payed more than what was worth of it. As much as I loved the part where Molly killed Bellatrix, i hoped it'd be Harry or Lupi or Tonks even, for they were only the ones left tht loved him and suffered the most in his death . His potential was criminally under utilised, only anything anyone benefitted from him was from material things he owned- Grimmauld palace, Firebolt, motorcycle, two way mirror. It'd have been fine if he lived just enough to kill a couple death eaters, save Harry out of a tight spot ( so he could atleast die in satisfaction of accomplishing his Godfather duties). It'd have been great if he lived to discover the truth about Regulus, or Snape ( considering the history they shared). But no, he'd to suffer all his life just to be sucked into a frikking veil. It seem to me almost as if he was brought in just to bring about some emotion and life to the story - nevertheless that was a clean job done. Rowling rushed to kill him. Rowling wronged Sirius. Periodt.
In 2 months I’ll be 74 years old & I love the Harry Potter books & movies. I read all the books in 80 days including the last book which I read in 4 days. Me too. While all of the deaths were undeserved and sad Sirius's hit me the hardest. His death was untimely, unyielding , his potential was least made use of . I'd have loved Bellatrix to be killed by Harry or Remus ( for they were the only ones left that cared and loved him) .
Well Wanna know why Sectum Sempra is so messed up? Snape was Emo after losing Lilly to James right? "Sectum Sempra" "always cutting" or "always bleeding blade" It wasent designed to be used on others Snape used it on himself and learned to counter it He invented the counter curse for others who had a weak mind, cuz he could fight it off. It’s terrible that Fred died. He didn’t deserve it, and it made poor Molly relive the painful memories of her own brothers death. I honestly don’t know how I would cope if my brother is killed. But I have experienced loss. My parents died when I was 10, and their deaths were very hard on me. Fred, Dumbledore, Dobby, Mad-Eye, Remus, Tonks and all the others were tragic, but is NOBODY going to mention Hedwig? Hedwig was his companion through 6 years of his wizarding life, even during the summer! She was basically his only constant friend throughout the whole 6 years of his time at Hogwarts, and she was taken away in a flash. Imagine if she was a human, imagine how upsetting it would be to everyone if that were the case. Hedwig’s death hit me really hard, not gonna lie. And Cedric, he literally died because he wanted it to be a joint Hogwarts victory and finally bring some glory to the Hufflepuff name. His death literally haunted Harry’s nightmares! He may have been considered a spare by Voldemort, but his death brought a sense of unity to the whole of Hogwarts (or at least 3 houses) and influenced the creation of the DA! Of course, for me, Dobby’s death hit like a fricking train. I had to close the book, I was sobbing so much. I can’t even get into it, but you all know what I mean by that.
I remember throwing my book across the room onto the other couch when I got to Fred’s death but quickly picked it back up because I had to finish it. The Weasley twins have always been my favorite characters since the beginning and man was I pissed when Rowling killed him off.
I didn’t believe it at first and was like “he’s going to get up” the beginning of the next chapter put me a bit in shock when it hit me that he wasn’t in fact going to get up.
I remember when the book came out, the actor who’s Fred was reading it in a train. And he just read the part where Fred dies when he was asked for his ticket. He responded “I just died mate, leave me alone!” 😢
Man, Harry Potter is making a comeback for me. I always loved it but it's been years since I read the books or watched the movies. Now with Hogwarts Legacy coming back, I'm slowly getting back into it. And this video honestly made me remember why I loved this series so much. It's not afraid of death and sacrifice. Even main and fan favorite characters. But unlike GoT, it feels like every single death has a meaning that's bigger than the character themselves
I always thought it would have been a nice touch if Seamus Finnigan was the main one responsible for blowing up the bridge in Deathly Hallows, but I do also love every time Neville gets a win.
Dude you forgot about Hepzibah's Smith's house elf, Hokey, whose memory was modified by Voldy, so that it looked like she killed her master, albeit accidentally.

Hedwig’s death probably hit me the hardest tbh, Harry cared so much about her which they didn’t really show in the films and I think the books depicted it better.
The sub for care of magical creatures was Prof. Grubbly Plank
The page in Deathly Hallows where Harry shows Hedwig around Dursleys' house in Privet Drive one last time before they leave was rather sad imo. Especially since that was the last moment they had together before Hedwig died

Even all these years after his initial downfall.

cedric was such a sweet and cute character, and i would’ve loved to have had him appear more in the series. he was the perfect example of a hufflepuff, and his death really got to me :(
Yeah! I feel like the only other times we got cedric were just a little bit in prisoner of askban book!
have you read the cursed child?
jk it's not canon
@@sophiayu4570 cursed child? LOL we don’t know her
This made my heart break🥺
And he would have told everyone about sirius's innocence cause he saw Peter and Sirius would have been off the black list and that could have prevented His death too(if we look at the book perspective)
I have no idea why but the Amelia Bones death was so sad for me. She was so nice in OoTP and was - by all account - a very talented witch 😢
Yes! And she was very skilled witch that Voldemort himself had to kill her.
Periodt.
His name was cleared... a former Minister of Magic admitted as much when he had an interview with a Prime Minister in the Half-Blood Prince.
First 25 minutes: span a thousand years
Last 15 minutes: Deathly Hallows
It's not called the Deathly Hallows solely cause of the Deathly Hallows.
In 2 months I’ll be 74 years old & I love the Harry Potter books & movies. I read all the books in 80 days including the last book which I read in 4 days. It’s amazing because I hardly slept & read through tears for most of it. It was so hard to see the characters die because I knew that was the last book. ( and I loved the characters. I was glad Harry married Ginny & Ron married Hermione. I thought Neville was going to marry Luna. She’s such sweet gentle girl. I’m doing the audiobooks now, while i’m canning bread & butter pickles. I enjoy your videos. Thanks 💕🐞⚡️
Happy late birthday!!

Poor Sirius and Remus. There are one of my favorite characters. It broke my heart that they died.
Dolohov didn’t just commit murder
*he orphaned a child*
Me too.
While all of the deaths were undeserved and sad Sirius's hit me the hardest. His death was untimely, unyielding , his potential was least made use of . I'd have loved Bellatrix to be killed by Harry or Remus ( for they were the only ones left that cared and loved him) .
Yo honestly your detail and story telling through all this is A1.
This takes a lot of effort!! Please keep it up!!
Huge fan
I feel like the killing curse is the best way to die in this series because it's so instant and fast and there's no suffering
Well
Wanna know why Sectum Sempra is so messed up?
Snape was Emo after losing Lilly to James right? "Sectum Sempra" "always cutting" or "always bleeding blade"
It wasent designed to be used on others Snape used it on himself and learned to counter it
He invented the counter curse for others who had a weak mind, cuz he could fight it off. Notice he never mutters a counter curse book or movie
Jk wont publicly acknowledge that, but you tell me what the Emo kid is gonna do. Cuz the answer isent fight
Cuz fighting would hurt Lilly, even if she wont pick Snape. He dosent wanna hurt her going after James
Lupin is biased on Hiv with his werewolf isum You tell me why Snape is a emo bastard XD
And why he dosent have a mark on him from a sad life
Unless the marks arnt visual anymore
What about Crucio?
@@ShipsandGames Does that one actually kill? I thought it was just horrible torture
@@donovanulrich348 Nice theory!
@@Caraboo900 No, torture. I was responding to the first reply.
It’s terrible that Fred died. He didn’t deserve it, and it made poor Molly relive the painful memories of her own brothers death. I honestly don’t know how I would cope if my brother is killed. But I have experienced loss. My parents died when I was 10, and their deaths were very hard on me. I can imagine my uncle and auntie were just as devastated, and they probably felt the same way as Mrs. Weasley when her brothers died. Not to mention what happened to Fred.
im sorry for your loss
@@kaylabear Thank you. It means a lot.

LMAO
YES
I accept this as truth.
Fred and George are not that irresponsible to pull a prank like this
Well this more cannon than literately the screen in deathly hallow
Whenever he talks about fred and dobby's death I litterally cried or I just skip.....
once dobby was mentioned i was crying till the end
I hated their death's so much I cried for weeks non-stop wishing they hadn't died at least not yet and they to grow up together which they had most likely had planned being twins and all and dobby just wanted to be a free elf and live a good life with Harry and his friends. I come the hp series and I wish there more of them in the fist few years. My for characters are: Draco, George, Fred and Dobby
I love not I come lol
I was so sad from Sirius' death, worse with Dumbledore's and Dobby's death, and I started crying with Fred's, Tonks', Lupin's and Severus' 😭😭😭
@@eviebrston7068 I appreciate their deaths, but I am really sad that Sirius was Harry's godfather and Harry knew him (like the good person) for less then 3 years... like I hate Fred being dead, but he was in the series from the very first film/book
And the second reason for grief about Sirius' death is that he is one of my most favourite characters❤
Yes yes yes and just yes
Yes Hedwig deserve it because she
my favourite character Hedwig is so cute
He he did.....
He did mention Hedwig...
You didn't even mention Sirius.
Same. I felt super bad cause it was a book from my school library.
@@ashleylandsberg8679 your school library has harry potter books?
I remember when the book came out, the actor who’s Fred was reading it in a train. And he just read the part where Fred dies when he was asked for his ticket. He responded “I just died mate, leave me alone!” 😢
Like them or not Snape and Dumbledore are some of the most well-written and interesting characters in the Harry Potter series in my opinion.
I agree
Exactly well written character ≠ good person
Top Lobster snape was obsessed not loved obsessed James loved her snape just wanted her
The number of people that killed themselves is sad.
@Sukrit Srivastava but they didn’t need to
Man, Harry Potter is making a comeback for me.

TH-cam Recommendation: "Wanna Cry Tonight?"
Yeah and yet here we are
I read Fred’s death in class and I was close to my teacher. She was also reading the book and so we both mourned over Fred
I also read his death in class and my teacher simply asked me why I was crying and all I had to do was hold up the book lol

I always thought it would have been a nice touch if Seamus Finnigan was the main one responsible for blowing up the bridge in Deathly Hallows, but I do also love every time Neville gets a win.
It would be nice if we could get A full story of Neville and his family. He showed dedication passion and bravery also growth
OMG definitely
Dude you forgot about Hepzibah's Smith's house elf, Hokey, whose memory was modified by Voldy, so that it looked like she killed her master, albeit accidentally.
Please don't tell me I'm the only one who cried when he brought up hedwig.
No, you are not the only one who cried
Hedwig is a try friend for Harry and for the fans rip Hedwig
I cried mostly in the time of the 2 wizarding war like hearing him mentioning remus then Tonks felt like I was the one who died,I think the strongest deaths are: Dobby,Remus,Tonka, Hedwig, Fred and Sirius I cried on these deaths the most😢😢😢😢.
Same, I love hedwig.
That was a pretty extreme punishment for nearly headless Nick just for messing up someone's teeth.
I see you haven't visited some historical YT channels which devote their time discussing Medieval torture...
