A pleasant little watch, good for the beach. Maybe the tide indicator is a gimmick, but who doesn't love a nice gimmick? For $20, it's good fun for the summer!
@@GedmisLaguna for sure; what I meant is, you don't really /need/ tide data, so it's a bit an exercise in complications, but that is its charme! Just like a 1/100 s chronograph, after all: you don't really /need/ it, and the error in manually starting and stopping it is larger than 1/100 s, but it is a nice gimmick to have nonetheless!
@@lucafwn Tide graph is really useful for any sea related activity, unless you live in Italy, as the Mediterranean is more a big lake than a sea and has very weak tides.
Some time it's difficult to read the features and also watching the watch video at same time .. if you can speak the features it will be more beautiful. Any way good review.. we can manage it. Just a little suggestion from me.. please don't mind. Love from India..
I got mine on 2-9-21 the instructions told me to set the lunitidal interval at 5.20 the tide graph was way off. I played around with it and changed the numbers around and setting it at 8.20 made the tide graph very accurate. I checked it with my gw7900. I hope this helps
Can you please share how to calculate unitidal interval correctly, as I'm not getting accurate readout for Kuwait. I work in LNG terminal i have very accurate tide trends available
I have this exact watch and the only thing I don't like is the light button. It's a dull illumination and sometimes hard to read the time. I wish it was a bright LED
I have had two Casios and the illuminator which is a similar orange resin strap which discolours quickly during light wear and won't clean even with bicarb/toothpaste/vinegar. The Baby G also has a white resin strap that also discolours so I wouldn't buy them on that basis. They are very accurate and reliable apart from that.
Cat shattered the mineral glass on my Bottlecap seiko and found this at wally world clearenced down to 5$. Not. A bad TIDE me over till it gets fixed 😆.
It got the playful looks, easy going, happy-go-lucky, & i bet people can't take you seriously if you are wearing this. But i like it. Color is a bit glaring. I bet if if comes in black & smokey gray for color scheme, it will look more mature? 😎
