I’m retired military and I was mentored by the WW2 veterans. The description of recruiting issues is on point and I’m indigenous. This gentleman is so on point that I recommend he get a security detail or he’ll be on a Rez. You two gentlemen need to do a separate podcast. My civics teacher in high school was General Pattons intelligence officer and was a front row witness to the Nuremberg trials. If Mr Zaharia was still alive he’d be your biggest supporter. Great job on discussing over a badly needed topic

Mine were Vietnam, and truly love those guys and talking at the VA. Not many left, so I like to get their stories. I think a huge portion of recruiting is a lot of us who served, realized no longer for our oath, Constituion and people, dont want our kids dying for hegemony. Its definitely a changing world, and to be honest, I dont think we are prepared for a long FOF type fight. People dont realize TRADOC shifted to COIN after 9/11, and fighting a hardened trained adversary of these terrains is going to take ground forces. Tech can only do so much. I would think cooler heads should prevail. Are we ready to make this the hill we climb? Real KIA in real numbers assuming it stays conventional. Who knows. Hope you are enjoying retirement.

As a natural born American who served Honorably in the US Army, now at 82 years old I am hurt and saddened by the irrational " crimes" that have been committed. I was Honorably discharged from the US Army in the year 1968 and the same issues seem to be happening again to some extent. Differences to me now is after backsliding for so long I've returned to my childhood, -faith in Christianity. Older now, hopefully w/better understanding of how the real world works Christianity, by personal experience in action, is the only salvation for the United States, its written Constitution and "the Bill of Rights." Without those, all is lost like any other secular nation. Even the United Kingdom, under the bander of Christianity, built a Great Empire without a strong Christian Britian, Britian lost its most precious faith. All the dead hero's honor of Great Britain sadly gone and dishonored, in many cases by ungrateful generation. Now, will have to fight for their "freedoms" on their own ground..."Cultural Sanitation" was at one time considered to erase traditions and landmarks a crime as a country w/no "roots" has no idea of a foundation to build a future..."A house with no foundation can not stand..."

Patriotism starts from two sources: family and school.
Unless the school program starts to include and mandate proper education of history, especially American history, but not limited to it, we will not be able to raise patriotic children who will become patriotic adults.
I am an immigrant who immigrated legally together with my immediate family, who worked in this country for over 30 years and who is a real patriot of this great country.
My children went to college and have become successful professionals and are very grateful for the opportunity the U.S. provided to us.

Please thank your family for coming to America legally. I’m in my 60s and I see my age group as very proud to be American for the most part but my daughter witch is 32 after she went to college she came back different at the same time my husband her father (witch came to America in 1964 on a raft with tires holding it up from Cuba. His father was on the chopping block because he was catholic) had passed away and I think it made her very vulnerable. She does not feel about America the way I wish she did. As for you and your situation it seems like the older immigrants I’d say around 1995 they seem VERY patriotic. Especially the ones that have simulated into America. So thank you for standing proud and being a true patriot. It means more to us than you know. Take care Hello from Florida 😄

I agree with you. Parenting skills have truly fell by the wayside. That needs to change for our country to change. Being an educator I’ve observed how things have changed over the years, however. True change does start at home. Parents, who truly want their children to do better than they did is not happening now. We need Trump back in office. I do t necessarily agree with everything he does, but he certainly better than the Harris/Walz campaign.

I grew up and attended elementary and high school in Arizona in the 1950s and '60s. In high school, World History and World Geography were ninth grade and tenth grade courses, U.S. History was an eleventh grade required course, and U.S. Government was a twelfth grade required course. The latter two courses were "Must Pass" to graduate. When I began my teaching career in Colorado these were the same required courses for graduating high school as in Arizona. However, in school year 1999-2000, I taught summer school courses of these same two required courses in Colorado to students who had not passed these courses and had to make them up in order to graduate high school. This was the last graduating class that had these requirements in Colorado. That was twenty-five years ago. I believe that was the beginning of the end of Colorado kids learning anything in public school that might be considered patriotic or historically meaningful for kids who would be citizens of America as they entered young adulthood.

_Moreover, there exist probability/possibility vortices which spiral towards your bellicose actions. Many of these vortices are not of the nuclear war but of the less annihilatory but more lengthy so-called “conventional” war. This situation, if formed in your illusion, would offer many opportunities for seeking and for service._
Questioner: How would conventional warfare offer the opportunities for seeking and service?
_Ra: I am Ra. The possibility/probabilities exist for situations in which great portions of your continent and the globe in general might be involved in the type of warfare which you might liken to guerrilla warfare._
_The ideal of freedom from the so-called invading force of either the controlled fascism or the equally controlled social common ownership of all things would stimulate great quantities of contemplation upon the great polarization implicit in the contrast between freedom and control._
_In this scenario which is being considered at this time/space nexus the idea of obliterating valuable sites and personnel would not be considered an useful one. Other weapons would be used which do not destroy as your nuclear arms would._
_In this ongoing struggle the light of freedom would burn within the mind/body/spirit complexes capable of such polarization. Lacking the opportunity for overt expression of the love of freedom, the seeking for inner knowledge would take root aided by those of the Brothers and Sisters of Sorrow which remember their calling upon this sphere._
Questioner: Are you saying then that this possible condition of war would be much more greatly spread across the surface of the globe than anything we have experienced in the past and therefore touch a larger percentage of the population in this form of catalyst?
_Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. There are those now experimenting with one of the major weapons of this scenario, that is the so-called psychotronic group of devices which are being experimentally used to cause such alterations in wind and weather as will result in eventual famine. If this program is not countered and proves experimentally satisfactory, the methods in this scenario would be made public._
_There would then be what those whom you call Russians hope to be a bloodless invasion of their personnel in this and every land deemed valuable. However, the peoples of your culture have little propensity for bloodless surrender."_
_"The energy used is that of the field of electromagnetic energy which polarizes the Earth sphere. The weaponry is of two basic kinds: that which is called by your peoples psychotronic and that which is called by your peoples particle beam. The amount of destruction which is contained in this technology is considerable and the weapons have been used in many cases to alter weather patterns and to enhance the vibratory change which engulfs your planet at this time._

We have lost 85 thousands great soldiers just because the refused the vaccine. So now we have all these people that are more interested in the transgender and correct pronouns and who is a woman. I watched the interview with Casey and Calley Means talking about how the food industry and big pharma conspire to make us sick to profit off of it. After listening to this video, I can't help but think that they've also deliberately made our kids sick so that we wouldn't have a military to fight against the global takeover. The Democratic party is utterly EVIL! We have NO hope if Kamala remains the global totalitarian puppet.

I think it would be nice if young men joined the military for two years and then use the experience in the coming blue/red conflict to train up the militias. There is no reason to go into the military otherwise as the government is too irresponsible with the lives of our citizens. When there is not a single culture to fight for, then it is normal that men can't grasp patriotism at the federal level. I personally want a somewhat weaker US military so that their excesses of globalism and neo-conservatism can be checked, along with the breaking impact of overspending which will limit the foreign adventurism.

When Victor asked the question, why are all the people coming here? He posed, is it our free markets, our judiciary, etc? People do this all the time. But, they never bring up what i believe is the truth... that is, free sh1t. They came here for handouts. These aren't people that were working in their home countries. They don't have to work here, either. We have 15 million people that were unemployed or imprisoned in their own countries that are unemployed here! It's not like it's full of skilled people, either. They find that they can live like they were back home or better as far as shelter goes, plus they're being fed & paid along the way. They also know they'll get up to 3 or 4 years in a 5 star hotel plus 3 squares a day, plus food stamps, plus cash assistance plus unlimited opportunities to steal from others. Imagine all that!? Job 1 if Trump wins should be a temporary halt on immigration. Next any non citizen single adult male without a work or student visa needs to go immediately. Then go from there to assimilate other migrants according to the law. Also eliminate any and all government subsidies for any non US citizens. The incentive to come here needs to be based on a real reason like seeking education or employment. Before you can repair water damage you must first shut off the flow and drain the flooding.

I am surprised at the way Toynbee's analysis of the rise and fall of kingdoms and civilizations seems to have been completely forgotten. The rise of elites, their separation for the common citizens, their desire to replace native populations with immigrants have consistently been a factor in the decline of all civilizations throughout the world and throughout history along with other phenomena that we see at this time. His analysis was incredibly extensive and his conclusions relevant to our present situation. This of course does not take away from VDH's analysis but greatly helps to support his conclusions.

Rome certainly has similarities to present day. Near the end of the Western Roman Empire the 40% of the population the city of Rome was foreign born. Also, the Praetorian guard became 100% non-Roman, mainly Gauls. The reason was that they would have no qualms killing Romans to protect the Emperor. Then we have slaves that also outnumbered citizens in the city of Rome. Elites clutching power and seeing citizens as threats, cheap imported labor to keep society functioning. Rome (the Elites) tried to keep the party going by importing bodies into society and into the army, no different than what we are doing today.

My son was in the US Navy when he met and married his Filipina wife. It took 2 years for the State Dept to issue her a Visa. She was a college educated nurse, a productive member of society and the wife of a US military service member and fluent in English. But every time she met w the bureaucrat at the embassy +after paying her $400 +fee), she would speak to them for 3 minutes and be told she was missing this or that, reschedule and come back or be flat out denied for no reason. It was so bad I contacted our Congressman for assistance (my son was deployed by then.) The Congressman's office contacted me to say the State Department had no real explanation other than "they doubted her desire/ real intention to stay in the US." This despite letters from us, her subsequent pregnancy, and evidence she would be a asset to the US, not a parasite. The finally allowed her in. She is now a mom of 4, an R.N. and thriving. She is an awesome wife and mother, and an integral part of our family. Best wishes to you sir on your journey.

Regarding those that have a sincere concern about raising children presently, there are a number of plausible reasons why. Among these is the presence of too many people already in the country. This is primarily due to 1. immigration, which was resumed in the 1960's after a 50-year halt. It is also due to 2. lax welfare policy, which has encouraged the breakup of the nuclear family while encouraging a greater birthrate, and to 3. the "resettlement" of population from the cities into other areas of the country. This resettlement is a large part of the Green New Deal's war against both American industry and against the ability of people to live independently in areas with low population.
The greater the population, the greater the poverty, and the more demand for spending and an engineered economy, both nationally and locally. The greater the population, the less land and opportunities for which you can sustain a family of your own. In addition to this is the far greater cultural conflicts and crime, and far greater expenses in living. Combine these things and it is not hard to understand why there would be fear, instability, less harmonious marriages, and fewer quality families. This is by design, by those who have opposed the freedom and moral fabric of the United States, and have sought to "fundamentally transform" it. For these and other reasons, the United States is under no obligation to allow people from elsewhere to come to its shores. Immigration is a privilege, never a right.
The strength of a nation does not primarily lie in its diversity, large population size and inclusiveness. In reality, the things that are truly valuable, strong and solvent are by definition exclusive. Therefore, the desire for the United States to be the "shining city on a hill" is best demonstrated by the work to remove and keep out the vast majority of the world, who would only serve to put out its light. The respect for a nation as 'a shining city on a hill' is not best demonstrated by those wanting to come to the light to reap its benefits, but by those who see the light from afar and want to bear it themselves, bringing hope and peace to their own nation.

Biden was/is a total disaster and given the chance he will destroy that whole country. Trump on the other hand is much too outspoken and often disrespectful. An excellent exchange of ideas. In my opinion, however, the one idea which connects them all and was not mentioned in the interview is Christianity as a requisite framework for western Society.

    • @exer51
      @exer51 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

Christianity is nowhere near a requisite for western society. Western culture begins in Athens, which was hardly christian and progresses through to it's earliest apex in pagan Rome. The western Roman Empire declines and falls when it becomes Christian. The crown jewel of western civilization by far is antebellum America and it's best thinkers such as Jefferson and Franklin were not Christians at all. The cuckery of the west is a direct result of Christian slave morality as Nietzsche so eloquently pointed out and predicted what Christianity leads to... the last man which we see today.
The west will only survive if we turn from the effeminate and limp-wristed values peddled by the foreign (to our European people) and bizarre middle eastern Jesus cult and return to a philosophy more vital and masculine such as Greco-Roman stoicism which actually came from the west.

Mr. Victor, I have never seen you so very off on so many instances.
EX: Zelensky is a brave, wonderful man(?) He does fit the definition of a corrupt dictator however.
Coupled with your assertion that the war in Ukraine was caused by Russia aggression, rather than NATO aggression and threats of making Ukraine a member of NATO.
Additionally, the fact that two predominantly Russian speaking and pro-separatists areas, Crimea and Donbas, wanted to be realigned with Russia.
Prior to Zelensky, Ukraine was one of the top five corrupt countries in the world. And today, even more corrupt.
When this war is over and Ukraine is destroyed, Zelensky and his cronies will be very wealthy at the expense of the US people.
What do you know about Ukrainian retirement/pensions being funded with military aid funds -- that should not have been paid from the beginning.
This has been an enormous taxpayer contribution to the defense industry and large banks.

The passage of the 17th Amendment in 1913 which abolished the election of US Senators by the state legislatures and replaced it with direct election by the people, a popular idea at the time, was a serious blow to federalism. But it had serious unforeseen consequences which have come back to bite us in the present era. It laudably weakened the power of the segregationist Jim Crow South, but it transformed the Senate into a body very like the House of Representatives, which as the Founders feared, is too responsive to the immediate passions of the general population. The Founders saw the indirect election of Senators as an essential element of checks and balances within the Federal Government, ensuring the relative sovereigty of the individual states. The 17th Amendment greatly enhanced the power of the central government to regulate and legislate human interactions and policies, removing that prerogative from a more local and responsive state level. It regrettably contributed to the growth of the massive administrative state in Washington, DC that so many Americans are now increasingly fed up with. 🐻🇺🇲

By expanding the American model of governance and economy to these regions, the U.S. could stem the outflow of banana republic economic refugees, while addressing labor shortages in manufacturing industries without further damaging and disrupting the U.S. itself.
