It's insane how 6 years ago, Amy was pretty much absent from Mania aside from an Easter Egg in the Metallic Madness boss, but now she's not only a playable character in Origins Plus, but she's officially part of the main 4 in Superstar. I'm proud of our Rosy Rascal.
can we acknowledge how good this 3D classic model looks? Normally he seemed stiff and he had this weird looking waddle in the past
Did you know that Classic Sonic's cyanish/blue shade was what Oshima Originally wanted but they had to make him darker so he didn't blend with the water in Green Hill Zone 😂 Maybe the Cyan Emerald turning you into Water is an inside joke! 💎

Glad to see bickuribox experimenting EVEN MORE with his humour, it's got real life segments now!
All I care about is that Sonic Team brought Fang The Sniper back in an official new Sonic game. Not as a throwaway cameo that isn't REALLY him, not in extended material outside the games, but in a brand new mainline game. Fang's back, he's a villain again, he's getting caught in his own traps like he used to. I've waited too damn long for this.

Now that i think about it, it really is just like Megaman 11 in more than just it's artstyle. Both games are new entries in a series that hasn't had a new game in a long time (Mania was 6 years ago and MM10 was 13 years ago), and modernised their series with new powerups (Double Gear in 11, Chaos Emerald powers in Superstars) to mess around with. Now we'll have to see if it's successful and if Sega profits off of that success with more stuff (unlike Capcom who immediately forgot Megaman existed right after and yes i'm still mad about it)

I really really REALLY hope this game does well, so that we can finally have a good template for more future 2D Sonic entires that would be more easily accepted by the broader audience. Yes, Mania could've served as a great template, but not everyone especially not those outside of the gamer communities would see the appeal of 2D spritework over flashy 3D graphics.
The 5 second beat of silence after the "where's Steam?" had me rolling
You pointed out the 'pick your platform' part and I was like 'Yeah wait, I remember watching the trailer and the very Steam logo is at the end when they display the release window'. Im a bit worried as well..theres no Steam Page yet as I was going to go wishlist it.
That ain't a whale, that's a *mosasaur*! I screamed when I saw it while me and my friends were watching in the crowd at Summer Game Fest. I hope to see more prehistoric dinosaur-like badniks in the rest of the game - the new character Trip looks like it could also be a dinosaur.
