I just learned Jeff Beck passed away, and the first thing that popped into my head was this beautiful song of yours. I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. I lost the love of my life last year and understand the grieving process... beautiful music like yours has been the best medicine.

Pretty hard to keep time on bass without missing a beat, or fluffing a note while singing counter-melodies with voice. Especially for an extended length of time as in this song. Remarkable.
So refreshing to hear someone singing with a normal, natural voice and singing from the heart........ not some cloned pop singer who sounds the same as a dozen others. Tal has a truly emotional quality to her voice. She reminds me of singers from the sixties and seventies who all had unique vocal qualities. I was first made aware of Tal Wilkenfeld on a video of her performing a bass solo with Jeff Beck ("Because We've Ended as Lovers") which blew me away. I'm a professional musician and retired music educator and I know real talent when I hear it. Tal is REAL talent.

I had one too but it had a triangle shaped pick guard. I know I paid no more than $100 for it. It was a good bass! Kinda cool to see Ms Wilkenfeld playing one.
Man, that was a great bass....played great and sounded great. Considered a vintage item now days. Better made than most Asian instruments....

Tal has come into her own. Her rawness of voice matches the character of her music. I pray that as she matures, her music will mature with her as did the music of Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart, and NEVER give up innovation.

OMG could this young woman be any more talented. Not only can she be one of the best bass players, her voice is beautiful.
How a delicate little thing like Tal plays those thick, bass strings I will never know. I have played guitar for a long time (on and off), and believe me, when you pick up a bass guitar and play it for 45 minutes, it feels like your fingers have been slashed.
Tables turning, John Entwistle would have bowed to your phenomenal bass skills. And now I learn that you're a great singer as well. Kudos to you Tal.
