We are not here for the spelling, but for the music, and I prefer someone who says something even with spelling errors, to someone who writes flawlessly, but says nothing... Just in ase, she meant bases anyway, not basses (bfy.tw/PJPT), and BTW, speaking about spelling, the correct form is misspelled, not mis-spelled... Nor miss-pelled...🤔😅

Wow had NO idea she could sing!!! She is just living breathing music in human form. First saw her about ten years ago in that Crossroads festival video with Jeff Beck. I was blown away and now this???? Holy crap I'm getting this record. So great to hear someone actually sing again. Killer

Wow, what an amazing voice! I knew Tal was an awesome bass player from her time with Jeff Beck, but I had no idea she could sing like that. Count me in as a fan:)
A pure, untampered voice that sounds the same live as it does on the record. No computerized trickery here, what you hear is what you get.
Wow. I didn't know that she has her own band, AND Can Sing! Superb. Thanks for posting this excellent performance.
Lots of people tell, and being right to, Tal is an awesome bass player and singer.
But too, she is a complete artist.
No pretentious solos during hours, original structures of the songs, a real osmose with the whole band, because it is a band and not only Tal, and that is great thing. A very smart guitarist, as are the drummer and the keyboard...Tal and every of them know to be at the service of the music, and not at the service of a demonstration of her ego on stage.
There is poetry in the music she writes and plays, in her, and in her band, perhaps the best demonstration of the fact of having faith in the music and in the whole life.
I just hope somedays I could see her for real.

She worked with Jeff Beck and others. I saw her at one of his shows. That was stellar but no one heard her sing. Which is fitting for a Beck show.

I never heard of this bass player before. I saw a video on TH-cam's "Recommended" list of Tal Wilkenfield playing with Herbie Hancock at Montreaux. I did a search for other videos with Wilkenfield and this is the first one I listened to. What a cool, haunting song this is with great singing and instrumentals. Now I'm a fan.

Watched an interview, she began as a singer songwriter at 16. Brilliant. Australian, they seem to breed musicians there.
Contemporary 90's music, right here. If she had been around 20-25 years ago, she would have fit in perfectly and been a superstar. This sound takes me way back and I can't be more happy. Thank you, Tal!
