    One if the factors I like about your videos, is that I do not need to be a professional carpenter to understand what you are doing. Plus you provide videos on projects that the typical home owner wants and can do themselves.
    I have been following your for years, thank you for all the content.

    I like the triangle shape of your Pergola. It’s nice to see something different than just a large rectangle one. Plus, I like the small size. Which is small enough for any size yard, but large enough to make any yard more fun and comfortable. Over all I think this project is a “Big” Win April! 😃😊😉

    • @AprilWilkerson
      @AprilWilkerson  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks! Yes, I think so too. People can make it overall bigger if they want but many today have smaller backyards so would be perfect for many. Thanks for watching.

    Looks great! I love the idea of the roof panels, with that you can still sit there in light rain.

      Looks really impressive and stylish. But as about rain - the key word here, I think, light. If it's a middle rain or rain + wind = angle, then this roof couldn't protect the inner space. Is it possible to make the roof somehow larger, so it can hide people from rain and also from the angular sun rays?

    I agree how smart, cozy and sufficient your triangular choice was… : ) Not many pergolas would support a hammock.

    I love it! You make it look so easy! How do things those plastic panels would work for a basement ceiling? I was thinking of cutting them into smaller pieces. Maybe 2x4? They would be pretty easy to remove if I needed to make any wiring or plumbing changes. We have a low basement ceiling to begin with so a drop ceiling is out.

Did you add extra blocking underneath where you knew you'd be installing the posts or is it ok for some of the screws to only hit the decking? 2nd, I'm new to outdoor projects, is MDF ok outside once it has been painted or is that something you know you'll have to swap out in a few years?
