🚛. Doolan's Heavy Haulage, with Higgs Haulage helping out. Heading east on Great Eastern Highway.

- First loading is, Doolan's Volvo FH16 700 as pull block truck, helping the Kenworth K200 block truck. A 14 lines modular deck, with Liehberr Mining excavator, chassis and tracks only.
Second truck load, is Higgs Haulage Kenworth T908 block truck as helper pull truck, assisting the Kenworth K200, hauling a CAT 785C fully dressed Mining dump truck, on 8 lines float.
The two @ 8m wide heavy oversize convoy, was making very slow progress out from Perth on this day Friday 11 March 2022.
Roadworks and heavy traffic following, required the heavy oversize team, to pull over several times between Sawyers Valley and Northam. To allow passing of banked up traffic.
I filmed at 3 locations along Great Eastern Highway.
1; Wooroloo, outside the entrance to Wooroloo Farm Prison. Roadworks at this location,
and the work site traffic controllers, busy moving the roadworks barriers aside.
2; Burlong before Northam on the overtaking lanes.
3; Northam area. Along this part of Great Eastern Highway, is located 8 bridges within about 7. 6 kms. A slow haul, when heavy oversize travel at the required 10 kmph speed limit over each bridge!

Doolan's trucks are always nice and these beauties are no exceptions. Although the ex Toll K200 is a bit weird with the new decals. The size of these mining machines is mind blowing. I'm sure the truck drivers are very experienced, veteran guys, who've seen everything. A mistake here could be costly. The big rigs in the traffic jams behind the loads are pretty cool too. Another nice catch Terry. :)

I passed these guys on Roe Highway back in Perth. And they had to stop, to replace a blown tyre or two, on the second trailer. So made my day, to get ahead of them, and wait at Yagan Bridge on Great Northern Highway, in Upper Swan as they headed north.......but nah. I didn't realise until.waiting for a while. That they headed east towards Kalgoorlie and the Goldfields area. 😀 I eventually caught up to them, and had to wait patiently until we were allowed to overtake the convoy. Yep big machinery heading east also.
There's still plenty of trucks coming over from the eastern states, bringing backlog of food stocks over.
Great video, I'm surprised the access ladder was attached to the digger creating more overhang on the left side, nice to see some rain too ...
I thank you. Yeah I was watching that ladder, it should've been loaded onto another truck perhaps! And at the last few minutes at the end of the video, I was hoping I wasn't going to get drenched!

Just watched here in England, really nice video. Lovely trucks and organising the convoy. We just had two large - 170 + 190 ton loads out of Shoreham harbour by Allellys haulage about a month ago, our roads aren't quite the same as yours!!!
Hi, thanks for your comment. And yep, I've often watched TH-cam oversize loads in England. And I'm really amazed with the super long heavy weights, travelling through the city and town streets, with hardly no room to pass by. Way different to our roads over here, for sure!
