Hello, my name is Terry.
Formerly channel named koorta boodjor, but changed July 2023 to Terry's Trucking Videos.
In this channel, I present to you, scenes of Western Australia heavy oversize & general trucking videos. Ships and boats. As also wheatbelt farming scenes too!
koorta- boodjor meaning......heart land. As worded in local indidgenous Nyungar language.
Heavy oversize truck scenes, generally on Great Northern Highway, that heads north from the Reid and Roe Highways in Middle Swan, to the hills of Bindoon and beyond! ( Trucking videos at other places, included too.)
It'll be different, when the Bindoon Bypass is to be constructed.
The western re-alignment of Great Northern Highway, starting from Chittering Roadhouse, to New Norcia. Will make it easier and safer for heavy road transport, and travellers. ( Be no more heavy oversize trucking up Bindoon Hill!😢)

An Arbor Centre tree relocation project.
Crane Hire provided by General Crane Services. Crane operator Barry.
Transport arranged with Coogee Freight Services, using one of their FH16 Volvos. Truck driver Paul.
And The Arbor Centre's own tree transplanter low profile deck trailer.
The Arbor Centre based in Wattle Grove, are a family owned business. Arboriculture experts. Providing Perth tree services to Local Government, Commercial and Residential clients for over 30 years.
Oversize pilots, were Pete at the lead. With Belinda as the rear pilot.

Oversize tree transport, can be a daunting task. With the transplanted tree, having to be lopped and trimmed to be suitable for road haul.
Using tie down squish / squash system!🙂 Restraints with straps & ropes, and tree covering, the width and height Is managed.
Journey from West Swan to Shenton Park, was a roundabout way. Via Reid Highway, and down the coast past Scarborough. On West Coast Highway, then swing east towards Shenton Park Health Campus.

I'm with Paul, in the Volvo FH16 600. Loaded on a semi trailer flat top, for CBH Geraldton. It's a hot shot delivery of one pallet, of a few grain feeder pipes and brackets, weighing approx 1.5 tonnes weight, and just two tie down straps needed. Viewed from the cab of Volvo FH16 600. As we headed north on the Brand Highway from Muchea to Geraldton. And then getting some more oversize loads, as we returned south. Thursday 22 August 2024.

Videoed on Great Northern Highway, just after a forecasted storm swept through Perth suburbs, on Saturday 24 August 2024. Locations at, Blue Plains Road junction overtaking lanes, Chittering. And the fav spot, Bindoon Hill.🙂 I kept the camera rolling, as they headed north over the crest of Bindoon Hill. Just hoping there'd be a southbound truck or two heading my way. But nah, not this time.

Part 1; Not nortbound, nor eastbound. But southbound, on the South Western Highway. I first spotted the smaller sized Substation on Doolan's Float. Parked amongst trees, alongside the highway at Keysbrook, which is south of Perth. No HV pilots, at that stage. Just Western Power Overhead Linesmen in their vehicle. Part 2; I followed this oversize convoy from Keysbrook, to as far as Argyle. Which is south of Bunbury. Also accompanying the team, was a Doolan's service truck, and a spare block truck. Caught up to these guys, as they headed north through Bindoon town on Great Northern Highway. With 2 structural frames @ 8.5 mtrs wide.
