Hi Coming from Nottinghamshire England the two trucks carrying the heavy loads my question is are they fitted with Spicer Auxiliary Gearbox's to the different Ratios for going up hills carrying a very heavy loads In the 80's here in ENGLAND there was a company called HEANOR HEAVY HAULAGE which moved Machine plant quarry to quarry the roads were narrow and very steep and to cope with problems they were fitted with Spicer Auxiliary Gearbox's one truck had 52 different ratios the other had 72 Mated to a 8/92 Detroit diesel engine fully loaded you could hear it for mile's and this is why I love Heavy haulage. All the best from Nottinghamshire England 🏴🏴👍😁😊
@@steverobey711 Hi Steve, thanks for watching, and your interesting story of Mean of Heavy Haulage on the quarry runs. Very impressed with the gear ratios, and the loud Detroit engine. I'm not aware of the new truck models operating here in Australia, having Spicer auxiliary gearboxes, hopefully someone may give an answer on that. Many thanks for your story.
@@wclearwater1 Hi Wilson, yeah I missed your incoming comment, re this video, sorry mate. I need to watch the video again. Agree with you about the extra plots, not sure what was happening now!🤔
Yeah it's a Irizar, about 23 of them. They are State Government owned, Public Transport Authority. And operate to regional country towns in the southern areas here. Transwa is the badge name.
