No matter who i watch or how easy they make it look, I wrangle with the yarn everytime. Had given up hope that my dexterity would improve much more but this is genius & seems so obvious. Thanksssss❣️
Over 40yrs ive been crocheting and didn't know this was an easier way, that's blown me away! Thankyou so much. Proves that no matter how much you think you know you can always learn more. Much love from Ireland ❤❤❤
The exact same thing will happen if you pause at the end of the stitch before the color change, when you have 2 loops left on the hook, just grab the new color on the last pull through of that stitch.
Thanks so much! Your video is very easy to follow, I love the close-up camera details. I am crocheting a baby blanket with a ball of color-changing yarn, that had a lengthy boo-boo, so your lesson has saved me!!
Hi Aunty Bella, l'm a beginner and l hear you are good at crocheting please do more videos for beginners to learn 🙏 we love you for all you have been doing for us❤
You cannot carry it with this method, but instead of doing it this way, just pause at the end of the stitch before the color change, when you still have 2 loops on the hook. At that point, pull the new color through on the last step, and grab your dropped yarn tail for the carry along before starting the first full stitch of the new color.
I love when you crochet because I love crocheting because my friend told me and I forgot so I had to look up a crochet video on your camera and I said I’m not search the videos thanks for teaching me how to crochet
To change colour you can either follow the method shown in this video, or you can simply pull through the new colour when making the final part of your last stitch. I show how to do that in my tutorial here: th-cam.com/video/3wxMQ-_Cz3s/w-d-xo.html 😊
It does look extreamly easy... i just have a question... what do you do with the tails (tail of the new color and tail/working yarn of the old color)???
You can sew in the ends of the yarn as you would normally - I have a tutorial that shows how to do that here: th-cam.com/video/gpD-ZhfZGao/w-d-xo.html 😊
Yo he hecho tejidos desde que estaba en sexto grado me encanta la paz y tranquilidad que se desarrolla y también despierta la creatividad individual de cada persona mi projecto favorito son las flores. Bendiciones 😘
It makes sense, but what about the extra strange you pulled when you switched ? What do you do with them? I just seen it pulled behind the design. Do you tie them? Cut them?.. eh… sorry.
my color changes always look like shit, so ive gotta try this! also, does it work w ith other stitch types like a single crochet? In the video I think youre doing a double?
Yes, you can use this method with different crochet stitches. You’ll find that this method is a lot more secure and looks neater than others. Good luck! 😊
You should reall consider making and selling the beautiful crochet hooks. I will be your first customer. I need one in every size. Please consider? Maybe even a paid tutorial???? Ijs
Thank u so much! Ik this is one year after but,I recently learned how to crotchet and did a granny square. It wasn’t that big after I finished so I did some more but I couldn’t find my yarn. I got a different color and did this and it turned out amazing❤ thanks really🎊
I literally just started crocheting a few weeks ago and that was the easiest color change I’ve ever seen. I am making a blanket and I do not know what to do with the leftover yarn when color changing. I was told to tie them in a loose knot and then somehow will weave them in. Would you mind showing me how or do you have a video for that?
I've been crocheting since I was 9 yrs old and that's the easiest color change I've ever seen. I'm over 40 now
That’s amazing
❤❤
❤❤❤
Wow i love crochet too but im begginer and im 9 !!
I started at 9 quit at 9 and a half did it again at 11 had a stand when I was 12 and made over 500 euro!
No matter who i watch or how easy they make it look, I wrangle with the yarn everytime. Had given up hope that my dexterity would improve much more but this is genius & seems so obvious. Thanksssss❣️
You're welcome :)
You're not alone there! I'm on day 2, still learning bit by bit. We'll get there
All the best!!

OMGOSH!! You just saved me from giving up on tapestry! I couldn’t stand the look of the regular color changes, but this looks PERFECT!
💗THANK YOU!💗
You are very welcome :)
Wow that is brilliant and far easier than how I do it, Thank you so much 👍♥️
You are very welcome :)
You are the first person I've seen so far that makes the perfect color change look spot-on and so easy!! 🤦🏻♀️ BOOM! 🤪 lol. Thanks! 😁
You're welcome :)
This was so useful!! Changing colors was always a struggle for me, but now it’s so easy!! Thank you so much :D
I am blown away at how easy and effective this is and I’ve been doing it another way for at least 30 years thank you. This was ingenious.
Wow! So super easy! Thank you so much for sharing.
You are very welcome :)
Beautifully done!!!!
Thank you :)
The exact same thing will happen if you pause at the end of the stitch before the color change, when you have 2 loops left on the hook, just grab the new color on the last pull through of that stitch.
But that bit of loop that she pulls up and leaves there gives you something to hold onto while you do the switch. Makes it a little bit easier.
Thank you! Far easier tham what I do. I'll give it a go.
Wow! This is so easy, thanks ❤❤❤
You're welcome 😊
This helped so much omgg I use this every day now!
I'm so glad that it has been of help :)

Amazing. I will defo try this technique. Thank you ❤xx
You are very welcome :)
And what do you do with the pink yarn that was there left?
That's what I want to know
maybe weave it into the project?
You need to weave it in! But what I do is tie both ends to secure the project and then weave them in :)
Wow just wow, using it now in A project and it is the best! Thank you!
You are very welcome :)
Wow!! Thank you for sharing this 🤯🤩
My pleasure 😊
The best way to change colours thank you so much easier

Wonderful tip😍 Thank you! Hugs from Istanbul, Turkey🇹🇷🌸☀️
You are very welcome :)
Perfect!
Or just... instead of finishing out the dbl w the first color, change color and pull it thru the last 2 loops. Same thing, faster change.
this just changed my life thank you so much!!
You're very welcome :)
This is literally the best video why isn’t this rival?😂

I have lots of beginner tutorials on my TH-cam channel, you can also visit my blog at blog.bellacococrochet.com :)
Brilliant! Who knew LOL!
Excellent, do you have to cut the pink when done? Or do you carry it?
Me too. Cut, knot and sew in? Or is there a better way to deal with those ends???
I've cut my yarn and sewn in the end securely but if you wanted to you can carry it, and pick it back up on the next row 😊
I love this technique! I’ve been using it for a few weeks and never had better results! Thank you!
You cannot carry it with this method, but instead of doing it this way, just pause at the end of the stitch before the color change, when you still have 2 loops on the hook. At that point, pull the new color through on the last step, and grab your dropped yarn tail for the carry along before starting the first full stitch of the new color.
Brilliant!!!
I love it!!!
This helped me with my firts ever color change it works very well thank you
You’re welcome 😊
Immediately grabbed some excess yarn, made some double crochets and tried this. I love it and will incorporate this in my work!
I'm so glad it will be helpful to you :)

Genius!
Thank you so much! i actually need help because my yarn got tangled:( so I had to cut the yarn! good this this tut helped me! thanks alot!

My toxic trait is that I think I can do this the first try
Keep practicing and it will get easier :)
@@bellacococrochet thanks, lll try my hardest :)
Hi it's Nadia... Could you pretty please explain how to go to the second row again.... I didn't really understand what you did in the other video

Can you do this with single crochet?
what yarn are you using? pretty colors

Just a quick question what if you don’t need that old color anymore? How do you get rid of that?
I think you'd just cut it and weave it in
Seems like it would come loose eventually without some sorta tie off.
nice!

What do you do with the tails in back? And colour change at beginning of row? I'd like to see how you do it as this one was so easy

Where do you get the yarn from and, whats it called?
I'd like to see what tou do with the leftover tails.

Gotta try. Looks so much better than what I have. Will it work in a spiral like an an animal?
