I didn't expect Catwoman to be such a huge part of the movie but I'm glad she. She is Batman's first member of his batfamily so she should be integrated to the core of the story. So much sexual tension. I love it.

The cinematographer for this film is the same one as Dune and Rogue One. Hence why it looks so astonishing and moody. Bring on the worlds greatest detective!

I would hope that they use this movie to establish Gotham lore. If we get a trilogy, the court in the third movie would be amazing with references and mysteries thrown into the first 2 movies.

This is gonna be a very point of view driver Batman story so I'm really hyped at seeing focal shots from Batman's perspective. I hear he's also gonna narrate most of the movie which is fun and interesting.
I've been having real hard time getting over Christian Bale as Batman but I have very high hopes for this one. This has every bit of potential to be THE Batman movie

I love how they set the tone for Gotham as a whole. The rainy & muggy nature of this dark & corrupt city, akin to the Tim Burton films. There's a history to this city. Grounded & real with Visceral action reminiscent of John Wick. This looks & feels like the Action Crime Thriller I always wanted Batman to be, brought to life. A Batman that's still rough around the edges & in the process of perfecting his Bruce Wayne persona. The Rise of the Villans & the hero detective set to stop them. Here's hoping it lives up to the promise its making 🙏

The crazy thing is that I heard a criticism of the Riddler as essentially a Joker that told riddles, and that's how Joel Schumacher and the Adam West series played it. Here, they made the Riddler so much more menacing, that you are compelled to take him seriously. I get the sense that Batman/Bruce Wayne will actually have to play detective through this. Definitely hyped for this flick
There really is no substitute for practical effects. That's what has me worried about the whole "guns with blanks on set" thing. Don't take that away from us just because one production in literally thousands of productions was run by careless idiots and an accident happened. You can always tell if a real gun is being fired with blanks or if the actors just go "bang bang" and the muzzle flashes are digital. It never looks as convincing or as visceral as it should be. P.S.: absolutely love the trailer and Zoe's take on Catwoman. Badass, mysterious and sexy as hell.
All the "Batman doesn't kill" nannys are loving this wreckless Batman who could have killed penguin in that car wreck. I love all the practical effects in MOS and BVS. CGI is the art form of the modern times. Just look at all the people who gush over the MCU using CGI .
When one gets The Tumbler wreaking havoc in Begins, The Batpod flipping freight cars in TDK and The Bat redefining the Gotham skyline....only nitpickers will cry about a few hand-to-hand combat scenes... Pfff 🧐 Bane v Batman was an epic fight scene..One single shot..If you can't follow even that, you need an eye specialist and a good pair of glasses. 😤

It’s not even nitpicking, it was blatantly shown in the film multiple times .Batman is character who uses brute force and tactically take down people in the most harsh bone crushing way.The trilogy made Batman look so stiff when fighting and most of his moves aren’t even exciting to watch . Me and many people would agree the fight choreography was horrible including bane vs Batman but I did appreciate Bane’s adrenaline rush fighting scene near to the end of the movie when he was throwing continuous heavy punches …….but even that only lasted for 6 seconds.
The fight choreography was incredibly stiff and slow in the Nolan films at times. The Dark Knight was the biggest offender out of the trilogy imo. The parking garage fight at the beginning and the office fight in Lao’s skyscraper felt sluggish. Still love those movies though.
