Sooooo Team Apple Music or Team Spotify? 😈😈😈😈😈😈
No doubt Apple Music all day every day!!!!!! 💛💛💛
Spotify bro
Spotify is wayyyyyyyy better in my opinion
100% apple musix
why not both? I'm polyjamorous
Apple Music also has a whole app dedicated to classical music! ❤
And doing so, increasing storage usage unnecessarily
@@MaiElizabeth classical is sooooooo worth it. Expand 😇
@@MaiElizabeth
What? How?
Apple Music's app comes bundled into iOS and the Apple Music Classical app is a whopping 16mb
Spotify on the other hand comes in at 144mb lol
huh???
If you don’t use classical just delete it
Ive had Apple Music for years, then I recently decided to try Spotify but within a week I switched back because the sound quality is so much better on Apple Music.
yeah thats me too , i tried many music platforms , the best quality was apple music plus its ui is so simple and fast
Agree

Higher quality with no ads and it’s cheaper
@@adamplummer2994 no ads cuz it's not free adam
The main reason as to why I would go for Apple Music over Spotify is because i watch content on Apple TV so i can just pay for the apple one subscription so that i can watch stuff on Apple TV and have access to Apple Arcade where as Spotify is just music
Very good value with Apple One.
Right, he forgot to mention the benefits of the ecosystem.
Your loss
And if ur a college user you can get Apple TV and Apple Music for 5.99
I’m team Spotify. I’ve tried switching over to Apple Music because of the “higher sound quality” and the design, however, I always find myself missing Spotify connect, the discover weekly and music discovery on Spotify is just spot on for me. Right now I have both, I’ve been comparing them, and I honestly cannot actually hear any meaningful difference in sound quality, I’ve had the highest quality on both, and yeah, no major differences in quality. Besides, everybody uses Spotify, so creating a jam, collaborative playlist or listening music together is much easier.
I wish I could actually hear the “big sound quality difference” you all mention, since that’s the only reason I’m using both right now.
don't expect an app to know your preferences right off the bat... it takes time for apple music to know your taste and you have to "love" songs (which is different to adding it to the library) and disliking songs. once you get past that, the recommendations are really accurate
That and it is difficult to move an entire library
Yeah, I know, and I agree. that's why I have been trying to teach Apple music my taste, Last year I cancelled my Spotify account to focus on training the apple music one. Still, quite complex. @@AJRandom
Also, Apple music is great if you have home pods, Apple TV, a MacBook... like, you know, the Apple ecosystem, and, while I do like the apple products, I don't want to feel stuck with only those options if I want to make it work.
For instance, my smart home relies on the Google system, guess what, Apple music is just not very nice with them, but Spotify though? It words everywhere.
Don't get me wrong though, I do like Apple music, and I 100% agree with your point, however, try using Apple music on anything that's not an Apple device and you'll see what I mean. Apple music on TV is not easy to handle, and the lack of a "connect-like" feature makes it even worse.
For hi-res you need a wired headset and a DAC.
Team Spotify forever, bro
I've noticed that the UI for Apple Music is much easier on the eyes compared to Spotify. The ProMotion display shines better on the Apple Music due to its nativity, making the overall experience more visually appealing.
As someone who've used both, Spotify is still the better platform imo. Apple is closing in with every update they release and unless Spotify starts doing some really good stuff Apple will have overtaken them in 2-3 years
I mean, Spotify has an AI DJ and a "daylist" for you...
I like both platforms since i have both, but i would prefer Apple Music more because of the fact that it brings the music listening experience to a whole new level wether you are listening to Dolby Atmos or Lossless Audio Apple Music just does it spot on.
I’m using both! But I’m leaning toward 🍎
As you have mentioned that apple is very song/album oriented; where for a lot of people it is not very practical since most people does not have the time to discover new music manually outside playlists.
As a person who likes to discover new music in different genres, I would prefer Spotify; but in terms of sound quality and the radio feature Apple Music has done well.
PS: I kinda switch every 2 months from spotify to apple music :)
Thank you for the content Nikias!
Spotify since 2013/14, then went back and forth in 2020, before sticking with Apple Music since then. No plans to change. Prefer Apple’s more conservative approach. Don’t want TikTok-style features in my music app.
i tried both but i stick with Apple Music. Especially because of spatial audio. when Apple introduced it it felt like i was my favourite music felt brand new. such a great experience
I’ve been a Spotify user for 8 continuous years and recently just switched to Apple music. I like Spotify’s navigation more but I like Apple music’s design/layout on my iPhone better. The quality on Apple music is more superior to Spotify’s. Also, it’s a lot easier to micro scrub on apple music than Spotify. Over the years i’ve cared less and less about the social aspect that Spotify is better at. Apple Music also seamlessly works with Shazam. It’s also way easier to add local music files to AM. It’s a lot more tedious on Spotify. The one thing I miss is having podcasts within the same app. Unfortunately Apple uses their own podcast app whereas Spotify is integrated from within. I’m still sold on Apple music for the time being
Y un detalle muy importante a favor de Apple Music es la integracion que tiene con Shazam. Yo lo uso muchisimo para identificar canciones y integrarlas en mis listas. 👍
I have both and I try to love Apple Music, but I seem to gravitate towards Spotify. There are a number of reasons, but I love being able to control my music from other devices and also switching seamlessly from the Mac to phone or iPad.
Apple has plenty of continuity features, but not this one.
@@tdrg_ what do u give a damn about that feature? no songs are more than 4 mins long, so why not listen to it first, and then start a new one on the other device?
@@d3vd4s It's about convenience and user experience. It's really nice to be able to queue up songs on my computer, then seemlessly switch over to my phone and go take a shower and listen through my speaker, and then seemlessly switch back to my computer not missing a second of the song I was listening to. It's the most Apple-like experience ever and Apple doesn't have it
@@d3vd4s it's about being able to control the entire playlist from any device and connect seamlessly to alexas/speakers in ur house
I prefer Spotify, but it doesn’t work on my Apple Watch for offline listening when I leave my phone at home during workouts, unlike Apple Music.
So I have both 😬
Hey Nikias!! I just wanted to tell you that you are amazing and I’ve been watching you since the start. You put so much hard work into your videos. Keep it up, love you so much 💙🧡 And definitely Apple Music all the way 😂✌️
I gave up Spotify after I got the Apple One subscription with Apple Music included, migrated my playlists over and I love it, I just wish the queue was more interactive like Spotify’s
No one talks about how the lyrics are significantly more accurate on Apple Music. Sometimes the lyrics on Spotify are off sync, but never a problem on Apple.
I’m team Spotify but I hate the way lyrics are on there, Apple Music lyrics looks more better.
Hey there .. I have Spotify for a couple of years .. and I’m wondering about the Apple Music app? Is it really true that the sound quality is better on Apple Music? With my iPhone and airpods?
yes, it truly is. at first you may not notice it, but when you go back to spotify (idk why someone would do that) you’ll notice a great change
Thanks for the detailed video. For me, it's been Apple Music for a few years now. Spotify's navigation has become increasingly user-unfriendly over the last few years. In general, the whole Spotify design is a horror (just look at the lyrics). As a designer, Apple Music makes my heart beat faster. I feel that the app is far too cluttered. I am someone who says podcast belongs in its own app. I have the feeling that I listen to music much more intensively via Apple Music and discover more albums. The sound quality and connection to Apple TV are also a no-brainer. The latest updates to Apple Music are making the app better and better :)
I think the lyrics are better on Spotify, just small and nice fonts, colorful changes with every song. But the bad thing you need to scroll up every single song ; not like AM
I think I'm also a bit too harsh with my criticism ;) certainly the design of the lyrics is a matter of taste. I just like the larger font and the effects of how the words appear. But in the end, the nice thing is that both apps make music accessible to us worldwide, no matter which one you prefer.
@@SaadBorrwrong lyrics on Spotify 😂
I love how Spotify is rumored to come out with Spatial Audio when they haven’t even come out with higher quality audio.
Team Spotify, the algorithm helps me discover more music and artist. Apple music feels more cookie cutter and not personalized to my music taste.
Apple sounds better and is better if you know exactly what you want to listen too. If your looking for new music Spotify is focused more on getting you to discover new material.
@@YessssssHazelstill team Spotify. Spotify is more fun, has a better cross platform support and supports more devices, has a virtual DJ, live music sharing with other friends who has Spotify and the list goes on. “If you know exactly what you want to listen to” sure you can stay with Apple Music but with Spotify the possibilities are endless for true music lovers who don’t want to be limited to “exactly what they want to listen to”.
Which is better for an Apple Watch? I have the AWU2 and find that Spotify on the watch hasn’t been great despite having downloaded songs to the watch.
obviously, Apple Music, a first party service
Should I upgrade from the 14 Pro to the 15 Pro Max or upgrade to the 15 Pro? Also, is 256GB enough this year? And, which color between Natural Titanium and White Titanium would you choose?
Or instead, should I get 13 Pro brand new from parallel importer 3rd party store or a refurbished one from eBay?
Currently, I have the iPhone 14 Pro Space Black 256GB which has scrolling stuttering, battery life is bad, it has lags in the Camera app and some games and overheating issues.
If you have to ask yourself if it’s worth it. Than it isn’t worth it to you.
256gb enough? Same answer as your current phone.
Color is own opinion. Look at them real life. Personally I’ll go white
Why do you want a 13 pro when you have a 14 pro? Downgrade
@@DjangoGroen Yeah, I think 256GB is enough.
I jumped from 12 Pro Max to 13 Pro which had phone calls and battery issues so I traded it in for the 14 Pro which also have sceeen and battery issues with some bugs and lags, so I’m confused if I should trade in to the 15 Pro or 15 Pro Max or get a cheaper 13 Pro again from every and use it for now. What do you think about that?
And would you pick the White Titanium or Natural Titanium colors for the 15 Pro / 15PM?
@@satxrnhimself I would go to the blue 15 pro. But if I had to choose white over natural
@@DjangoGroen Ok, thank you!
So you say that you still would go for the 15 Pro in White Titanium over Natural Titanium, and not the 15PM? And also, it’s instead of getting a cheaper 13 Pro from eBay or parallel importrr store, and then wait for the 16 Pro?
I’ve had Spotify for 8 years and both for the past 3 months. Apple Music sounds amazing. But Spotify finds me so much new music every week that I could never leave it. SPOTIFY
I used to be a Spotify diehard, but the most recent update sucks so that’s why I’m here lol. I’ll open a new playlist, that I’ve listened to before, and my settings no longer stay in place. I HATE that my playlist ends and no longer repeats like usual. If I press shuffle that setting stays, but not the repeat button… the same when looking up a song. The one I would press would just repeat, perfect because it’s the one I looked for in the first place. Now it plays once and Spotify gives me random songs I didn’t ask to hear. The repeat button is also under a whole lot of menus I have to look for while the shuffle button is right then when you open a playlist or album. AM looks promising with this, but now I have to learn the layout of it to really see if it’s worth the 10 dollars a month. Thanks for the video!
Idk moving between Spotify on my pc to my iPad and my phone and keeping where o was is the biggest thing plus if you just switch with the AirPods between an iPad and an iPhone you don’t even have to like reconnect them so I think Spotify is winner
Yeah, Spotify is a lot more feature rich. It blows Apple Music out of the water.
Agreed
Honestly, both apps have their pros and cons. It makes me can’t really choose. Spotify is continually enhancing its features and playlists. But when it comes down to it, good sound quality is what matters to me the most. So, yeah, I've been using Apple Music for two years now. Plus, the subscription price is pretty much the same for both in my country.
I had Apple Music for the audio quality, better lyrics, etc., but the music discovery/search feature on Spotify is SO MUCH better, and I couldn't live without Spotify Connect to cast to my Echos, I decided to switch to Spotify.
I was an iTunes user for so long starting with the original iPod, so Apple Music feels right at home. I’ve tried getting into Spotify but never could.
just like last year i’m exited to see you listening to benito’s new album ❤
The big downside of Spotify is the confusing UI and the podcasts integration.
It feels like they change UI every six months just to confuse people!
I just changed from spotify and I’m struggling to get used to apple music. The UI feels very confusing right now, but I’m gonna keep it for at least a month, maybe I’ll get used to i
I've had both for a couple of years but as much as I try to support smaller companies, Apple is the clear winner for me with better overall price and seamless Shazam integration! And if you go for a bundle with Apple One (iCloud, TV+, music, games), well then there is no comparison and there's also a premier version which includes fitness and news with an extra 2TB iCloud storage. It's really about overall saving, time and convenient for digital services just like I don't get my groceries from a butchers, a greengrocer, a milkman, and so on but only from one big supermarket.
Great quality vid as always, a little nit pick is that the saturation is a bit too high. your skin looks unnaturally orange. I would reference mkbhd as having the perfect balance
i would actually give it a try the only problem would be tv (fire stick) support and i have a spotify family acc i share with other people. great video!
Team apple music. Lossless makes the difference.
I have both, Love Spotify the most, but prefer the audio on apple music. I just use Soundiiz to sync the playlist so I have the best of both worlds.
Apple Music Team here. I never liked Spotify’s UI (That’s why I was using Deezer before Apple Music). I do love how minimalist Apple Music is. It looks clean and uncomplicated.
I have both but I choose Spotify because of algorithms. Spotify daily Playlist and new music discovery takes the cake and far superior.
I like both, have a slight preference for Spotify UI, but at the end I chose Apple Music for the following reasons:
- better integration in the Apple ecosystem (smart stacks on the iPhone include Apple Music but not Spotify)
- better Apple Watch experience; easier to download on the Watch, no Spotify complications,
- integration with Shazam
- Apple Music Classical app
Apple Music FTW.
I was a Spotify user since 2014, but I switched to Apple Music in March, and I'm not coming back. At first, I hate it, cause the Spotify made me discover so much great songs, and Apple Music was useless, only playing the same ones. But after some time, it started suggesting some different songs, and now it have a pretty close accuracy.
Also, the ecosystem integration, the UI, the sound quality, and the reason why I changed, the Apple One bundle. I can have iCloud + Apple TV + Music for almost the same price as Spotify.
Discovery is so good at Spotify, and Apple felt like it lacked it completely. Are you saying it just takes time for it to learn what you like? As that would make me switch, since the Apple Music app is faster and better in every way IMO. But the ability to discover new great music has made me stay with Spotify.
@@pressrepeat2000 kind of. It gets better, but Spotify still beat it at discovery. Maybe it’s because the ai takes some time to learn your music preferences.
I recently switched to Apple Music because I like the simplicity. Spotify has a lot more features which is awesome for people who like them, however, I’d rather have a simple app that plays music very well and can support hi res and spacial audio. I personally don’t care for AI DJs, smart shuffle or the algorithmically generated playlists. However, I still think Spotify is superior when it comes to device synchronization and social features. Hopefully Apple will improve in those areas in the future.
Been spotify user for years, but I just switched to Apple Music cause I been searching for some old skool house music(SA) and couldn't find them on spotify but found them all on Apple Music and also want to try this spatial audio.
Must try Apple Music on a Mac to fully understand about it. For instances, it has visualizer and it can also import
I was a team Spotify for the longest time but for the past year. Ik you said the discovery was better on Spotify but why I am on apple music is the discovery features it's maybe the best thing
Watching this video with no ads means I also have TH-cam music via TH-cam premium. Apple music and Spotify can't compete with that.
touche
i use youtube music. perfect. no ads on youtube as well
I love Spotify! The reason im sticking with it because we are on the verge of the hifi tier hopefully a drop in a month or so they said before the end of the year. Its basically called supremium. I get the benefit of hifi from my highend headphone Amplifier and DAC stack. I was using Tidal alongside but that had its own issues ive stuck with Spotify because i knew we were close to having high quality audio. The playlists are fantastic and im a metal genre listener and i also enjoy lofi and ambient music.
It’ll cost about 16 bucks.
@MikeLitoris yep kind of the same thing as Tidals hifi plan. I'm OK with it since I want the lossless audio. Most people I think will choose the lower tier because they don't care about the hifi stuff, but for people who tried tidal or have high-end equipment, they would love the option for higher bitrate. The playlists on Spotify and the feature set are why I want to stay on Spotify.
@@ssdemon96 Why don't you get Apple Music then? If you want lossless.
@@MikeLitoris I have a Samsung phone and I much prefer Spotify my family uses apple music... I'm the only android user in the family I'm more tech savvy which is why I use android I can do way more with an android phone. Apple music has a great interface and already has lossless features, but I wanted to wait since I knew Spotify planned to release the hifi tier.
Spotify Connect is the feature that I adore the most
Must try Apple Music on a Mac to fully understand about it. For instances, it has visualizer
Isn’t Spatial Audio just music coming from direction of the phone? I think it’s Dolby atmos that gives u the atmospheric sounds around u
Apple music💪🏻
totally fan of Apple Music. The sound quality and the interface.
I switched from spotify to apple music i paid since 5 months now but i'm still using spotify for listening podcasts and i use spotify to share my playlists to my friends & my family for listening music because they don't have apple music so that's why i use both lol
Spotify’s UI changes eventually drove me away to Apple Music and I’m not at all tempted to go back. For all that people praise Spotify’s recommendations algorithm, for me it was trash - a huge disconnect between what I listen to (and Spotify damn well knows what I listen to) and what it kept pushing. I’ve actually gotten consistently more tailored-to-me recommendations from Apple Music. I’m also very much an album listener so I don’t care about playlists.
Spotify is a great platform that used to be so far ahead of AM but in these last few years they focused on trying to keep their investors happy that AM is going to catch up to them in terms of features sooner than later. As a person who really enjoys a nice and clean screen I love AM choice to have full screen album covers, a lot of work went into them and being able to see them full screen is great. Again with the clean look I actually prefer having everything separate when it comes to music, podcast and audiobooks, I prefer to swap from podcast app to music and stay on the page I was at on my podcast app when I go back to it. But the biggest reason I stick with AM is solvency, AM is Apple which is the richest company in the world with the most liquidity while Spotify has put itself in a corner with its business model and that is not a good sign.
Apple Music só é lerdo para adicionar o básico no app, mas o design e a qualidade sonora. Affff amoooo
I’ve used Spotify and I am trying the Apple Music 3 month trial. I’ll see what I end up with after these 3 months and I may stay with Apple or just go back to Spotify. We’ll see!
I prefer Spotify, but it doesn’t work on my Apple Watch for offline listening when I leave my phone at home during workouts, unlike Apple Music.
So I have both 😬
Bro, the animations appearing behind you 🤯 🔥
Awesome videos sorry I’m sooo late
Do the same for the computer apps.
Some things I hate about 🍎 music is that there seems to be no way to see how many followers you have or how many likes you have for playlists while Spotify does.
This comparison video is so unique
Great video
Spotify seems to be louder than apple music.Anyone know how to fix it?
You have missed the availability point. Spotify nearly runs on every device with all their feature support but apple music still lacks on that area.
I prefer Apple Music, but all my friends have Spotify and since I share music with some and create collaborative playlists with others, I’m stuck with it lol.
Team Apple Music 💪
ur taste broooo going from taylor to drake to olivia🔥🔥🔥
I had Spotify back in 2015 I can’t remember much but I have Apple Music its just so easy but I hear more about Spotify than Apple music I thought about giving it a try
I just switched to apple music today and the quality is chef's kiss !!!
Im tired of trying to love apple music.
I gave it every chance to but here’s what I don’t like:
1.Queuing system sucks big time.
Play last:I don’t want to listen whole playlist of 100 songs just to have my song.
Play next: it doesn’t go as queue system it goes last song at first.
2. A radio option which should be optional.
It adds an extra tab making it difficult on eyes.
3. My biggest problem is UI just keeps on loading forever despite good cellular or wifi network.
4. When you make a station from a song it doesn’t show upcoming songs in queue like spotify.
Only pro i feel is sound quality and browsing new songs when they go live.
I would get the bundle if comes with 2tb icloud storage 😢
I use both platforms but I prefer Apple Music. The UI, UX and quality is a chefs kiss.
Yo uso los dos!
The real game changing thing is the accurate algorithm to discover new music on Spotify.
You should do video Apple music vs Spotify music vs TH-cam music app im team TH-cam music app
Personally I prefer the Apple Music but use Spotify since a friend of mine added me to his family subscription. Agree upon design and audio quality but doesn’t worth me $10/month. Spotify has better recommendation algorithm. Hate they don’t have light theme tho.
Cuando le salió la lista de canciones de Ana Guerra OT… 😂😂
Actually Apple Music improved a lot. For me the algorithm hit me with the jams I mostly listen to plus the new crossfade feature, 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. My headphones and speakers thank me
That’s why i have both.. i can’t let go spotify bcz it has my playlist & I can’t let go apple music bcz the app, the album art & spatial audio is my fav.. ❤😂
I tried both but I liked spotify over apple music, the reason is so simple, one have equalizer, the other not.
The equaliser is probably the biggest difference in the two. I use a sonos at home and for me the equaliser makes so the difference. I don't get why apple music just doesn't have an equaliser plus I find it not as loud as Spotify
I prefer Apple Music because of Apples ecosystem. Much easier with Apple shortcuts and HomePod automation in the Home app but I miss spotifys algorithm for finding new music. Apple is so centered to pop music so it’s harder to find music in other genres.
Yesss that's so true. Apple so e their pop music which I dislike. When I'm l9okijgvfor hip hop i find the catalogue not quite as diverse as Spotify which is why I have three huge playlist of reggae hip hop and 90s R&B on Spotify but if I want to listen to better sound quality on a album then I got to apple music
Does Apple have offline listening?
Yes
I’m Team Apple Music. I’ve been using it ever since I got my first iPhone for Christmas back in 2019. Ive never tried Spotify and I don’t plan to. Not because I don’t think I would like it, but because I’m satisfied with Apple Music and after watching your video Apple Music seems more advanced.
Apple Music since day 1 Im so immerse into Apple ecosystem but I don't regret at all. I love Apple, loyal customer since 2009
I pay YT Premium and it comes with YT music. I don't wanna pay for another music streaming app. I do understand the bitrate. iPhone 15 Plus user here.
I have both Apple Music and Spotify. I can honestly say Spotify is much more fun to use and their music recommendations are way more spot on than Apple Music. What annoys me the most about Apple Music is their preference for clean versions of songs on their playlists. Even more annoying is the fact that on some playlists some songs are of the explicit versions while others are of the clean versions, with no consistency at all.
TH-cam music for two reason : integration btw YT & YT music; you can add any music from TH-cam's account to your Playlists on YT music same account seamlessly; even not official or licensed music.
Also the comment section.
Only issue is TH-cam music is more expensive
@@arneshiabaldwin8335
You can make a youtube premium family plan and share with your friends.
If don't want to share with others, maybe you can try to subscribe from browser (vpn) and select cheapest country.. It works.
Perhaps I missed it, but with Apple you can upload your own (local) music so that it becomes available everywhere on all devices. Not on Spotify.
I switched to Apple a month ago. Because of the playback quality, the upload feature and to a lesser extent my dissatisfaction with the whole podcasts thing (Spotify's investments, one billion or so for Joe Rogan, Neil Young leaving). Apple also integrates nicely with my Sonos, otherwise would be a deal breaker.
I agree with some YT channels that Spotify is doomed.
Team music, I use both airpods pro & Max, super with Dolby atmos, if I wan`t lossless I go with an external dac and wired headphones super streaming app, and there is no extra cost for lossless or hirez audio👍🏼
all the comments sayin apple music is better, so i wondered why, but it was the apple fan boy channel💀💀💀
A literal Apple hypnotic comparing AppleMusic with Spotify. Surely I can trust his opinion.
both are good
While Apple Music does have better quality, from my experience, it has been buggy for me as it says that someone else is using my account to listen to music while no one isn't. Also, for me as a windows user, going from my phone to my computer, Spotify makes it easier to go from one device to another, regardless of what OS you are using or what device. I don't know how the algorithm is with Apple Music since I didn't use it too much, but with Spotify, I was able to discover a lot of different bands and artists through daily mixes or discover weekly. Even for my own band, it's easier for my band to get discovered there than maybe Apple Music or other competitors. Apple Music is better if you own all Apple products while Spotify doesn't matter what you own, it will work well. What sucks though is that there are bands that I listen to, there are songs that are exclusive to Apple Music than Spotify. I don't care much about spatial audio, but I do like the audio quality. But from my experience, I'm sticking with Spotify.
Don't forget spotify doesn't pause your music when screenrecording
