CARNIVAL PARADISE | BOARDING AND CABIN REVIEW | DAY 1

- We invite you to travel with us as we board the Carnival Paradise, part of Carnivals Fantasy Class. We show you the boarding procedures and a portion of the muster station, the waiting terminal area, casino and Atrium. Check out our birthday decorated cabin / room. We end with some timelapses of the Port of Tampa and the Tampa Florida skyline. These videos are broken up into five days so check out next week's video (Day 2) next week.

We love meeting other cruisers and learning from their experience on different ships...we love the Paradise but the Celebration is our new favorite so far.
We loved our Paradise sailing December 2019. Beautiful ship.
How lucky of Sofia to sail on such a classic ship!

We live in Tampa, so a quick cruise in August 2022 was so easy (and inexpensive).. just drive to the port, park the car and embark the ship... The Paradise is extremely well maintained... but the decor hasn't changed, so it's a retro trip to the 90's... almost expect Kathie Lee Gifford to come out and greet us! I'm sure we'll be back next August or so..
Yeah...we heard a rumor that Carnival will get rid of a few more ships in the next few years, hope this isn't one of them.
@@mitchandmarcella4600 We don’t think it will be. Very few ships got under the Skyway bridge. It’s really beautiful when the ship sails under. Paradise is well maintained. The first three ships to be scrapped are Costa and Aida brand. I think Elation is the next Carnival ship to go, if any more go at all. It’s Fantasy class with few balconies, and it’s not as well maintained as Paradise. Cross your fingers.

We did see them cleaning in the early hours but not as much as they were before Covid...Marci did the decorations...she might start her on crafting channel in the near future.

Hey I’m set to go on my first cruise this July with my parents…. My question is what if you don’t have a large amount of luggage? Can everything that you packed be considered a “carry-on bag(s)”?
I would look on the Carnival website, but we carry on our backpacks and have no issues. We have one rolling suitcase each that we check with them but if you don't want to do that, I don't think there will be an issue at all. You are going to have a BLAST! And when you disembark at the end of the cruise, we recommend you take your luggage yourself instead of letting them pick it up. It is SO much faster.

We were on Deck 6...it was an upgrade we didn't even know we were getting.

I just got off 2 days ago. Super small ship with not much to do. Definitely not worth the money in my opinion.
I guess we like it for sintemental reasons since it was our first cruise along time ago, we have been on bigger ones and had much more to do.
