Just came across your video. You have to be a chef to create such a video that makes you say that's extraordinary! I couldn't take my eyes off of every step of your cooking process. My thoughts were is there a restaurant that makes this. This recipe will be at the forefront of my recipe of recipes. It wasn't complicated, but elegant, and also what a beautiful-looking dog.
OK, I just learned something...I did not know I was cooking this style of meatloaf for over 40 years!! The only thing I have done different in the past is I have added finely chopped green pepper and red onion...not too much but just enough to get a hint of the flavor...oh, and herbs de Provence, just a pinch or two. Got to have garlic mashed potatoes with finely sliced shallots that have been cooked in hot avocado oil, just long enough to a golden brown and placed on top. And, and a good bottle of Chiante. The video presentation was an A+. Oh, I forgot the Italian baguette. Frank, the old half German dude from NC.
Am I invited for dinner? I would be happy to come. First to enjoy the company of Joel and his wife. Second to be with Whiskey. That is a marvelous piece of art that you present in this video, Joel. Thank you for your passion.
