- On my trip across Africa and Europe I had to do some offroad parts here and there. So here is a small video showing from Morocco to South Africa, the interesing bits are in Congos!! Awesome riding there, for sure!
You drove pass my village in Rivers state Nigeria. Thanks for uploading this video.

FANTASTIC!!!!!!!
Thanks Nick! :)
Tot un exemple, impressionant Isaac, felicitats.
Amazing video. Did you travel alone? Any chance you posted this on a blog or other? Like the routes, tips or advice and so on? :-)
Not a single problem with the bike. But I crushed the front rim going FAST offroading with a flat front tyre... I broke the rim. Then i put a reinforced tube inside (4mm thick) and it is still working fine! But I have to replace it sooner or later. ;)
Menudo aventurón! ENHORABUENA
Hola Isaac! Can't wait for the 2nd episode! Take care, mate!
EXTRAORDINARIO
Gracias! ;)
Great respect for your adventure)) By the way i think your post should show more of you. More than big figures, the intensity of a trip relates to what big it leads to happen inside of your mind and soul, isn t it?
XD
I loved Africa, the food was good, people were super-nice and my helmet is an X-Lite X-551 (awesome helmet!). ;)
Quina enveja tiu !!!!. Muy buen viaje, si señor !!!!
Isaac.. This is a really amazing and inspiring achievement! Great video and I'm sure you will (and have) inspired many to follow your lead and explore this beautiful planet. I for one am one of them and I am wondering if you have a website or a blog? perhaps a map of the route you have taken to give a rough example/indicator to people who want to try doing something similar? and generally any details, thoughts, etc ! Thanks and again, Big Respect and Great job!!
Hi Faisal! Thanks for your kind words, I'm glad I can inspire someone to enjoy our beautiful planet!!! :) :) I have a facebook page with more photos/details of the trip, but do not expect a lot of details... you can always ask me anything that comes to your mind! Search for "Isaac Feliu" or "Africa Call" on facebook and you'll find me. ;)
Cheers!
Awesome job, congratulations. great video where for once the music is non intrusive but complementary.
Madre del amor hermoso! Flipo mil contigo. Abrazo!
respect!!!
GOD DAMN IT MAAAANNNNN.....god damn it, u're my hero by far:)
hate youtube that i can't put +10000 to this video.
that what i call a REAL ADVENTURE TRIP on A REAL DREAM BIKE :D
u have to do a blog or a forum about this adventure, i have a 100 questions to u:)
what do you regretted not having change on the GSA?
what about security?
have you slept in hotels? or in a tent in the wild?
what serious mechanical problem suffers the GSA?
it should avoid buying gasoline in cans? is there a risk of being mixed with some shit?
seriously, i need only a little motivation to do the same, u troubled my neurons amigo :)
u have done one of the best solo trip that a biker can dream of it, congratulations^^
Haha!! You can send me all your questions via email to isaac (at) moterus (dot) es
And I'll try to answer them all. ;)
Saludos.
Respect from germany!
Thanks!
Fair play to you,fab video :))
:)
BMW GS - The Best.
Music runed it for me, would have preferred the sound of the motor. But amazing footage none the less. What an experience that must have been.
Man, you did put Charlie Boorman and Ewan Mcgregor to shame! Doing all this on your own... Wow!
I envy you. Congrats, mate. Congrats...
Dantton Rose Hahaha!!!! Thanks mate! :) :)
;) Gaaas!
Awesome video, awesome bike, awesome music!
What is the name of this song? Artist?
Keep riding safe!
Al Laurie Thanks for your comment!. The music is from Sven Snug, song called "Pink Donut". ;) ;)
Yeah, it was a truly grat adventure! I have to make the second part of the video, from south africa to egypt. :) Cheers!
Hey Isaac! Another great envy-inducing vid amigo! You suck for torturing me this way, ha ha :-). I love your tarmac embrace at the end...long lost friend eh!? I don;t have Facebook, but I'd still like to see more details of your trip, where you camped, how secure you felt, hassles with border crossings & the like...do you have another website with those details?
Another great adventure, and awesome edit!!! Yesterday i bought a GSA 2007. Planning a trip to Nordkapp. As a very experienced rider on gs, can you tell me please, what is ups-downs of the bike? And what i have to setup? Thanks :)
If you are planning to pass through Albania, somewhere, somehow, let me know. We have Thousands of km offroad tracks, which we are using for Rally raid Albania, and international race..
Cheers , Relian
That's so awesome, I have not been that far on mine yet?
:) Thanks!
:D :D :D Un abrazooooo!
I watched your Africa 1 video and the Nurburgring vid back-to-back while recovering from back trouble; 4 weeks before the doctor says I can ride my '08 GS again. Thanks for the great photography, editing, and riding. Were you on TKC 80's?
Hi Ted! Yeah, I was on TKC80 for this trip, good tires! :)
I'm happy to hear you can ride again!!! ;) ;)
Cheers!
Awesome Ride.......
Thanks ;)
By seeing the end of the video, one can imagine you appreciate the image of a tar rode!
Hehhee, sure I do! ;)
Thanks Rafal! You can find everything about this trip on facebook(dot)com/ isaacfeliuafricacall also on africa-call(dot)com
I can only dream of doing similar, balls of steel required I think. Enjoyable video. Thumbs up.
Un saludo! ;)
hi, great video again! looked at your site on africa-call but my spanish is not that good! wondering what mods you made to the bike and I also like the windshield too.
did you have any issues with fuel?
thank you for the video
Hello!
No issues with fuel, and about mods, nothing special, just some few touratech protectors here and there... The windshield is the original GSA one, cut in half with an electric saw, and then painted. :)
Cheers!
Awesome trip man. I'm hoping to do a similar trip from Cairo to Cape Town some time in the next year or so. I was just wondering how did you plan your route?
Hi Kraslan, I don't care much when planning a route, just get some tracks and waypoints from here and there, mix them together and just start riding... you can find lots of useful information in the hubb forum (search for horizons unlimited). Cheers!
Super tune
Well done that man
Yes, it is great to have the footage! :) Thanks mate!
Great video!
Were there any Visa problems.
I know people have cycled the Silk Road through Central Asia but they have to arrange all the Visa stuff before hand.
edydon I had some visas beforehand too, but most of them I got on the borders or inside the previous counry ;) ;)
Gracias Isaac. Estare al Loro de esa 2a parte.
Saludoos.
Crasy stuff you did!
But i think it would be more fun with a lighter bike.
Anyways, gread Video!
Cheers Luz
Hehehe... lots of people told me about getting a lighter bike, and I own a lighter bike. But for this kind of trip, i think that GSA is just unbeatable ;) Cheers!
Maquina, nada mas que añadir
+Mohamed Malak :)
Buenas Joan!
Gracias! ;)
Thanks mate! I will take a look soon! Cheers! ;)
