Yeah I seen a couple guys in here saying to do it already but you need to get you like a 28 mil slide carb and a torque converter setup it'll take off way better than the damn centrifical clutches I used to hate those things on my go-karts the torque converter setups are way better and it looks like you got enough room you can bolt one on there
The tracks look epic! You know what’s next - swap the front tire for a mono ski! A taller mounting point on the ski means you could gain some ground clearance without altering the forks. Keep doing what you do!
I forget which is which but 42 chain versus 420 chain, as I recall they both have the same tooth spacing but one is wider than the other so you can put the wider chain on the wider or narrower sprocket, you can put the thin chain on the thin sprocket, but you can't put the thinner chain on the wider sprocket. I bet that's what you got here. But either way, you made it work.
Amazon prime only a week... I'm waiting on a part for close to a month now that was two day shipping. Order it again getting a refund and waited 4 days on the next one but the other one still shows tracking waiting on it to arrive at the shipper.
I grew up working on an old cement floor in old shop we would use halogen floodlights and thick moving blankets like to give up enough warmth and light so you can see the blankets are thick enough your back doesn't get messed up on the concrete
I think the next upgrade is gonna be to the clutch... you could see it rip on the garage floor and then stop as soon as there's resistance.. clutch springs are the first place I'd start
Add a ski to the front that adds a few inches of lift and see how it goes through some deeper snow! Then you have an awesome winter and summer setup!! Then all you need to do is do a turbo setup!!
@@Boostedlifestyle where did you get the tracks at ? I've seen this done a few times and none ever says where they got them from which is a real bummer....I am disabled/amputee and would really like to get my hands on some to build me a fishing rig to get out on the beach....otherwise I have to find a pier......I have so many more possibilities if I can get there on my own without waiting on someone to construct a path pier walkway etc. Any help would be much appreciated !!! BTW buggy looks cool as hell dude !
@@Boostedlifestyle those are really cool I have one on a go-kart that's 8 ft long and 4 ft wide and with just a six and a half horsepower motor I can damn near climb a tree with it. Also would a salamander type heater help you up there?, what a salamander type heater help you it runs off of propane and or kerosene?
Dang, you bent the Axle already... might want to add two more pillowblock bearings one on each side closer to the wheels to prevent more bending of the Axle. Oops Nevermind, i spoke too soon, i see you put a shorter Axle on it for the tracks. Good job!
@@Boostedlifestyle my bad i spoke before i saw you put a different Axle on it.. the first Axle is definitely bent, you had wayyy too much axle overhang past the last bearings. But i see you fixed it.
Ohh I see why you thought it was bent. Camera used something like a fisheye lens and it made the axle look bent from the rear view right before he drove it out of the garage
If you have any questions about upgrading parts on that pf212 look up cars and cameras they have a lot of helpful videos regarding slide carbs and torque converters
You still running that govnor on the motor? Rpms go to 3,500rpm or hook throttle cable upnto carb directly and not to the govnor and the engine will turn 7,000-9,000rpms
If you really want a little or ground clearance flip the bearing blocks under then punch a hole through the sides of the mounting box and run the axle for the track through there. Instant ground clearance. Just my 2 cents worth. Definitely a bad-ass build no matter what
can you plz find an old tractor seat and make it fit hahahaa. also look in to getting a decent carb, make it run way better and we’ll prolly come with a cute lil pod filter. and i’ll say it again incase, you should add a chain/clutch guard. and the muffler you’re adding should help with the back pressure issue
I miss TIG welding ok all welding. Just wondering if you cut a pop can (steel) weld it back fill it w water and tape the hole on the bottom and it held. Is that hard?
I’ve nvr been In real minus degree weather and I live in New England . I don’t know how anything can run nor live in true minus degrees. Something crazy y’all are.
That chain is just flop cocking around. Tad bit dangerous. Might want to tame that puppy before you get whipped in the underside if it decides to get nasty with you
I'd remove that small little motion box that the kill switch goes to on the front because that is why it turns its self off some times from watching the other vids of this project
Bro that thing is pretty damn cool but yes you one hundred percent need to do a ski for the front end, it’ll handle so much better. Aside from that good job buddy 👌🏻
Hey man that white thing in the carb was the float and the piece of aluminum you found was keeping the float pushed up which was leading you to leak gas
Hey man that white thing in the carb was the float and the piece of aluminum you found was keeping the float pushed up which was leading you to leak gas
The next time you come down to sick week or something You Oughta bring one of those down to sick week for a pit bike and sell it cuz those things are like gold down here they got two of the original ones but that one is really cool
Yeah I didn't have a late but that's how I had to do it to make this chain fit some of those Rockets are made that way I had one of them wagons you wanted to buy but I didn't know if it was too rusty for you to bring into Canada
I think you should have built a diesel moto instead of gas I feel it wouldn't be as fast but you power through the snow any other option would be two stroke but no one shows the mini diesels love they rip to
Years ago there was a company called Heathkit they made a production pull start mini bike that had a ski attachment that went right on with the tire still on it it bolted on with the axle nuts if you google that mini bike you’ll see it , I had one as a kid and they were a blast to ride
you should mount a skid at the front, that would be cool
Love it but can't wait for more car content !! I wanna see the fox built !!
Definitely put a torque conver on!
Where's the turbo?
First again!
Can confirm!
Okay this Canadian is getting out of control 😂❤️ happy for the sponsored video 🤙
That ad definitely paid for the entire trike build lol
Gotta keeps that sweet mullet action.
Put a $100 torgue convertor setup on it. Night and day difference

Maybe I'll give it a go 👀
@@Boostedlifestyle gt snow racer ski and just straddle the tire with it with a custom peice
snowmobile ski with a carbide on the bottom would be mint

You really Need to put a chain guard on the trike because if thing comes off at 30mph it's going to do some damage to the back of your leg 🦵!!
Lathe it down ha. Should have at least spun it up while grinding. Nun the less pretty friggin sweet!!!
I grew up working on an old cement floor in old shop we would use halogen floodlights and thick moving blankets like to give up enough warmth and light so you can see the blankets are thick enough your back doesn't get messed up on the concrete
You could possibly put the bearing blocks on the bottom of the plate and cut a hole for the axle to go through.
I think the next upgrade is gonna be to the clutch... you could see it rip on the garage floor and then stop as soon as there's resistance.. clutch springs are the first place I'd start
SO sick. Subbed 🤘🏽💀
Where did you get the track assemblies at? Thats really cool! You just need a studded front tire.
Its really cool dude! Good job!
I feel that a kx80 motor would be the upgade this little trike needs
Add a ski to the front that adds a few inches of lift and see how it goes through some deeper snow! Then you have an awesome winter and summer setup!! Then all you need to do is do a turbo setup!!
Not going to lie it would of test drive it before work didn’t the brakes too
Cross Pattern Kyle Cross pattern on that sprocket!!!! Lol
It couldn't get cooler
It’s cool as hell maaan! But you need to get the RPM’s up to 5500. That’s max rpm’s for those Honda gs160’s
You want a wide ski from a bearcat or a expedition on the front
4:50 now you have a 7,6hp 212cc 😎
Keep making an we be watching Florida man
I thoroughly enjoyed this :)
On the needle an seat like I said the other day lol
Where did you get them tracks from? Im lookin for a similar pair for a small Honda three wheeler.
Amazon lol
lets gooo
Next level sh!t
you def need a torque converter
Hell yeah... you got a sponsor. Love it, hope more start reaching out to you.
Thanks man 😁 I got a few now!

Amazon sells tracks that look just like those for $200 - $300 not foreshore if that's where he got them though.
They're tracks for a snow blower so search that up you'll find them

Build a ski on the front!

Remove the governor in the engine , unlocked some more of the power fist

Grind about a 1/16 off the bottom of the pillow blocks or as far as you feel like goin it'll give you a Lil more clearance

Where did you get the tracks?! Fellow Canadian, wanna do a build on a ATC90
You should talk to the TH-cam channel cars and cameras. The build the living hell out of these predators motors
R A D
I built one with snowblower tracks and a GT snow racer but yours turned out much better!
Thought this was boosted lifestyle not Canadian carsandcameras?

Why not add a hinge, another plate of metal and a spring in between for your seat to have some shock absorbency
Buddy goes to the states for a week starts measuring temps in Fahrenheit lol 😂 Mercia !
Need to add an idler pulley to the chain will help prevent the chain from jumping off
Order a tork converter from
go powersports and that will really get that thing ripping.
Ok. This thing needs to be rechristened "The Power Bottom 212"
Were did you get that track assembly at? Need one for a project...
You could make some spring loaded skies for the front with a lil keals to help stear..
a quick cheat to help steer is to take a piece of chain and go around the front wheel , let air out , then blow up to tighten it on the wheel.
What do they groom your roads instead of plowing them?
I really need a set of those tracks. Where did they come from?
One word…. Chain tensioner, well that’s two words but one part.
Killin it 🤙🤙.. next up billet rod , billet flywheel , fire 265 cam , ported head, thin head gasket , vm22 carburetor and a header .. it will haul ass
That sounds too fancy for me 😂
It will double factory HP rating and run 7000rpm
I'm complaining about -10 in the states Canadians let's go play outside
Time to powerfist an angry beaver now 😜🔥👌🇨🇦
Were did you get those tracks? I need them for my Pitbike drift trike!!
Dont grind your rotor to put the bearing u need a bearing heater n once its heated up u slide it on n it will cool down and set in place
Get yourself a cvt clutch, gets you better low end torque and more top speed
Well damn pillow blocks on the bottom get some ground clearance
You should just mount the axle in the bottom of the frame to give you more height.
