Next time, measure and drill the motor holes in longer bars and bolt them back on. Place where you want it and mark and cut the plates. Then bolt the motor back on and tack.

Concentric locking collar hit it with a punch to twist it and lock it into place then tighten sets screw

Use your frame for an exhaust coming from the bottom tubing
Big problem with routing exhaust through the frame is that the heat from said exhaust will heat up the whole frame.
@@savage6394 The heat will also weaken the frame significantly. Dynamic flow will also be restricted.

I’m looking at the new Predator 459CC for a big boy mini bike.
Mark where bar clamps touch handle bars and rough up the bars where clamps go. Like knarle the bars but can use a angle grinder and put lines in bars back yard style and the clamps will grab onto the grinder lines and will not be looSe feeling

That little thing is cool as hell man, i bought a harbor freight tig welder 6 months ago and just set it up tonight. My first weld was ok, second was better and the third was near perfect. Went in the house for a sammich then came back out to do some more welding but it went down hill from there lol, the more i tried the worse it got the worse it got the more aggravated i got so i just walked away till tomorrow. Have to get better if im going to build these stainless turbo kit, havent even tried aluminum yet🤦🏻♂️
You could easily persuade a couple inches off that gas tank with a rubber mallet. Wont hold as much gas but easier.
welding ain't no biggie!! it's just very hot glue for sticking metal and other metallic type stuff together! 😆

Dude, you cannot skimp out on making a real gas tank for this thing! Think Harley Sportster peanut style tank mounted frisco style on top of the backbone. You don't have to get that fancy with it, but it needs a real tank. Also, possibly look into buying a Honda tank from a 70's bike, like a 125cc one. They made a lot of cool tanks back in the day that might be easy to mount to what you've got here already, I think it would really put it over the top. 👍 Looks great so far! 👏

I used to work near shipyards, and I met a few welders, Steamfitters are about the top of the field, but the real crazy stuff is deep inside ships, or under the ocean. Can you imagine welding underwater? how crazy is that?

Need a aftermarket exhaust and need a slide carb with uni filter and need to unhook the govnor.. Them are the bare minimum must DO.essentials. Anything less is well not cool.

Make your own riser 2" tall well they nut to the bottom on the inside of the tube tube notch the tube and Weld them directly to the handlebars they will be fixed risers

Straight pipe,mikuni clone and adapter with a 120 main jet, 100 bucks total and made my go kart on atv tires go 50 on GPS and it was a BIG heavy kart. Governer delete and valve spring upgrade would make it haul ass

That looks awesome but it brings back a lot of bad memories spent while building the golf cart. Got it all done done it was really cool. Start it up and take for a ride. It went backwards instead of four. The motor was mounted wrong.

You thinking those foot pegs have enough ground clearance? Having them more forward and higher like cruiser forward controls would be fitting with the whole cruiser trike theme

Gus it that thing up homie so dah big peeps can pimp that thang around the pits.
Just in case your axle ends up sliding to one side those locking rings are eccentric and you’re supposed to put a punch on them and drive them in the direction of rotation. That’s what actually locks the axle from moving side to side not so much the set screws

Harley aftermarket parts will have the same risers you have now but for 1 inch bars

Why did you put the axle above the frame and not under where it is ten times stronger and enough clearance to go over a pebble at the moment you would be lucky to clear gravel.
Those forks might look cool a bit longer if the current set does not work out. Cool build!
if you want too go offroad your gonna need bigger round nobbly tyres to give it more clearance,i think,but it is wellcool!
From Sweden 📍 . I love the bike so far . For the throttle i think u build to the fot and not on the handelbar. Same with break on the fot . A like clean handelbar . I hope someone can donate a sett of tracks and a ski so u can use it on the snow to . That will be coolt to .

Grab a tank from a motorized bicycle, it would even be about the right scale
I usually put a divet for set screw on shaft for the bearing retainer/ shafty stoppy thingy

Dont know if it has been mention befofe but it look like you grounded through the rear axle, no big deal but try to avoid grounding through bearings !

#Boostedlifestyle top tip when cutting down a bolt is to put a nut on 1st then after you cut It take the nut off which help re thread the end 👍🏼
