Even as a toddler, Peyton's forehead was elite.
That forehead screams Omaha!
fivehead
Classic.
Mhm hmmm
… weak.
Him saying as a kid that his favorite player was "ma dad" never gets old.
I love that last clip with Deion because he was smart enough to bring his QB son, Shedeur, along with him. He probably told his son, “Listen to everything this man has to say about playing QB.”
I mean, how amazing is it to be a D1 QB and then get to spend an afternoon with Peyton?
I like that Peyton is looking right at deions kid when he said you’ve only got 60 plays and you can’t afford to waste any of them
@@Butterratbee I was thinking about the same. I'm sure may star players would have ignored the kid but he was looking at him to make him involved into the conversation.
This was just terrific! I could listen to Peyton's insights all day.
imagine him and brady chopping it up over games on sundays.
Bro, fr. This is really good content
the most active qb at the line of scrimmage ever. "omaha" became a classic.
Smartest player of all time
@@jonbarron8049 not even close
The way Peyton nods along to the videos - he's totally locked in, still "learning", as if he's gonna go play that weekend
Lol! 😂 Peyton reading to his kids from a Sid Luckman book.
That is what made Peyton so great...he learned from the OG QB's that most fans have no clue about...but those OG QB's didn't have anyone to learn from, they were true innovaters of the game.
The last point by Peyton is essentially the type of thinking Buffett and Munger employs. You are not trying to be great, trying to not be bad (simply less mistakes).
7:48 The last quote is literally every thing you need to know about why he was great. Young players, take that to heart.
Peyton is such a football nerd. I love it!
FACT It is amazing that even after Peyton has retired, he is still trying to learn more to be an even greater Quarterback
So personable and knowledgeable. I could listen to this guy for days!
Peyton is a national treasure.❤
Agreed
Peyton was Amazing tactician and leader. One of the Greatest Quarterbacks of all time.
"Champions do the ordinary thngs better than everybody else" . I love that quote. I believe Dungy said it was from Chuck Knoll. Great stuff.
Believe? Pay attention to the video
Tony Dungy is from the Chuck Knoll coaching tree.
He said from Knoll which came from Paul Brown!
@@happybeingmiserable4668
Chuck Noll
To Bill Walsh's attention to detail, Montana said they were doing pass drills & Walsh told him that his passes needed to be a 1/2 inch higher, a 1/2 inch!!
“Champions don’t do extraordinary things, they do ordinary things extraordinarily well” Man, the further you go as an athlete you see that more evidently. Master your body and the fundamentals.
The soundbite over that Omaha logo hit different for this particular video haha
The goat. Id love to see Peyton in a longform sitdown of some sort and just talk Xs and Os
The goat? More like the llama, Brady is the G. O. A. T
This content is absolute gold.
one of the Indianapolis' children's hospitals is named the Peyton Manning children's hospital. He moved away, but we still love him.
This was awesome. I really enjoyed this. I'm a 61 year old woman and you are by far my favorite quarterback. And you always will be. I also think you are hilarious.
Thx for showing respect for the ole guys.
loved every second of this
Manning family, something special. Peyton.... OMAHA! You will ALWAYS be my #1. Bless you and your family sir.
That Strahan quote... GOLD lol
Next to Brady, Manning is one of my favorites. You might think I would hate him considering I am a life long patriots fan but I have so much respect for him. He's also a very funny guy.
This is incredible!!!
Tommy forever!!!!!!!! 💯♾🐐
Could listen to 18 all day long. Really would love for him to Coach. College , NFL just to spread his vast knowledge. Also really miss the guy
dawg, 18 bringing content like this, and so much more. but ... no.. youre right... I miss him too!
@@Cracktune , you’re right this content is fire. Can u imagine him molding players minds with his knowledge. Damn!!!
If not a coach, then certainly as an offensive coordinator.
Please put this man in a prime time booth
Absolutely
@@wgsfnm I don't think he wants to do that but it would be interesting.
what a coach he is
He was born to play QB, to coach, and too entertain all in one. This is who young qbs should be watching and learning from. That hand grip for cold/bad weather could be the difference between a W and a loss.
Miss watching this man play for my Colts
We need more quality content like this
Listening to Peyton Manning discuss football strategy is like reading reading the Book of Proverbs in the Bible.
Baby Peyton: 'Mhmmm' classic
Bill Walsh was a genius. The most brilliant coach in NFL history.
4:26 They way they troll Big Ben here is amazing!!
My all time favorite quarterback there was nothing better than watching him operate at the line of scrimmage
EXCELLENT!
This could be your best video
I could watch Peyton Manning content for hours
Coach dungy is underrated
Fascinating to watch such a great player like Deion listening so intently to what Peyton is saying.
Love this!
love the Namath footage, as well as the Doug Williams cadence.
Sorry, but Prescott's pre game drills just crack me up. Joe Namath had a short career at the top of his game, but what a star!
i loved when madden made it where Payton would audible for like 20 seconds before the snap. So funny and irritating at the same time lmao
Everything about Joe Namath is cool. Even his voice. I would love to have a beer with him.
Wisdom from the great Unc Peyton, my favorite QB that i ever saw with my own eyes.
Brilliant all around
Awesome
What a great combo . Peyton and dungy .
I’m from Indiana. We just love him. All you could ask for in every way
One of the elite QBs to ever play, Peyton Manning...as a Giant fan, his brother Eli gets an honorable mention...
If Peyton came bac for 1 more season surely He'd make the playoffs.
You gotta rebrand the TH-cam logo of this channel to stand out more. The content is 🔥
Awesome really enjoyed this 😊
Attention to the details. A life lesson.
His very last sentences about the utility of audibles- "..not to get to the perfect play, but to get out of the "wasted" plays..." got me. Long time Buc's Fan, and the benefit of having had a Manning all of these years (not just the several "good years) would've prevented, at ~60 plays per game (his words), 3000 of our run-to-nowheres up the friggin' middle.
Great vid
Damn man, gimme about 4 more hours of this!
Remember how the Cowboys' OL came to the line of scrimmage with Tom Landry?
The best, A Man on his own Planet.
First, thank you! Second, more like this please!!
THE GOAT!!💯💯💯
Damn that was fun to watch.
A master of his craft
Of corse Payton reads quarterback books to his kids at night for bed time stories
Smartest Quarterback of all time
One QB that was a master of the play fake was Chad Pennington. He didn't have much arm, but he could sell that play action so well he'd fool the other team, the play by play guy, and the cameraman. I'm just that average fan, but if I could have the ear of a young QB, I'd say just have someone put together a reel of Pennington play action and you'll see you couldn't tell the difference between a real handoff and the fake. If only he had an Elway arm to go with it. Still it was a thing of beauty.
Guess where Pennington went to school?
@@HectorRodriguez-mp6ee What's A Matta U! No, actually my sister and her family live in Huntington.
@@robertkees6048 So you know he went to school in Knoxville, Tn? What is your rant...
@@HectorRodriguez-mp6ee What's up Macho, now what the fuck are you rambling on about?
MORE!!!
@6:59 I once had a coach that told me “know your job, then know the job of the guy to your left and right, when you know the job of all 11 guys on your unit inside/out… then you’ll be a good player”
Yep epic
Peytie, my Super-manning.❤💋
I thought about going to work and going through some of that Manning cadence and audibles through our intercom system. 😆
this guy is ana amazaing teacher and host
I played football as a kid until the end of highschool. Had a lot of quarterbacks. They were always super smart but rarely were the most athletic. It takes a lot of physical skill to be a quarterback but you can also make up for a lack of it just by being the smartest person on the field.
Chad Pennington took that to the NFL and retired as the most Accurate QB of all Time by completion percentage...even after Two Arm Injuries that should have been career enders. Two Comeback Player of the Year awards as well...by being the smartest guy on the field.
As Floyd Mayweather always says "Hard work! Dedication!"
I could watch this shit all night.
Lifelong GiNTs Fn..but Doug Williams winning a superbowl made me soo happy!!!!
Manning was a conductor of those men
Prime in all his gear - love it
I agree that there are many "wasted plays" in a game. For us Seahawks fans, that would be every 3rd down up until the 5 minute mark of the 4th quarter...
you know i wasn't too keen on shadeur sanders making it big, but seeing peyton coaching him personally, i changed my mind
What a great coach Peyton would make.
He's truly a funny guy lol
Johnny U invented the position, Peyton innovated it
Peyton getting all competitive at halftime of the NFL pro bowl game in Hawaii. Drawing up a play😂😂
When's Peyton going into the broadcast booth for the big ones? He's the next Madden.
I wished that Peyton had met Joe Gilliam and talk about his quick release.
What stadium was in that New England clip? It wasn't Fenway, was it? Maybe trurf troubles at Gillette...
I love Mahomes and allen and burrow, and Eli is my guy (ima giants fan) but there really Will never be another Peyton
Some of them guys playing d now are no joke either
From one NOLA boy to another, Peyton... you killed it with this one bruh :)
Just about everything he (Peyton) does is entertaining, he has that 'it' factor
Is there a full videomof this somewhere?
If you played any Madden game with prime Peyton in it, you also experienced the Manning Mambo lol
What’s crazy is when I was younger I threw w my thumb on the strings bc my hand was smaller & whenever running w the ball I would always make sure my thumb was on the strings even tho that wasn’t considered correct
Sixhead 🎉🎉
Man I love this channel. And to me Peyton is the greatest. It definitely became the most syrebral quarterback in the NFL
