      I don't know, Flacco had some missed chances with throws, but he also was scrambling and getting throws off while being mugged. I'd say our O line play was pretty suspect. Defense was getting burned in the passing game, but our D front looked a bit lethargic. If they can't get to the QB they could at least try to block some passes.

    For 2 players that are highly regarded (they're both legends) for their attitude, intensity, and talent, Ed Reed and Ray Lewis ALSO put in the hours with unglamorous film study.
    Point is, at the highest level, talent only gets u so far. This part of preparation seems to be just as much "grind" as practicing on the field.

      physically youll tap..... whatever that is.... 4.7 40, 4.5 40 or 4.2 40 at some point youll need to learn coverage, defenses formations, lead times etc etc. Micro gameplay is being physically ready and Macro gameplay is learning to understand how to read and anticipate football. Ed and Ray were physically done (meaning they arent getting much faster or stronger) so they learned to dissect film and they learned players habits and it became instincts.

      @AlphaDwg 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kool4209 it's because when you get to the NFL everyone is just as athletic as you. It's no longer simply out athleting people. Now you gotta be sound in your technique. know what you are doing. know the situation. know what the other team is doing. all the little things about football now matters and you can't just get away with it because you are simply better.

      Everyone in the NFL is good, not so much at the high school or college level. Now, that being said, how does a young kid/player, who simply DOESN'T NEED to film study cause he's so good, even begin relate or to LEARN how to film study? Those habits of NOT STUDYING, I assume, are difficult to overcome.

I saw him speak on his conversation a defensive back who was good and thought it would be a “walk in the park” with Tom Brady. Ray told the guy that while he is out partying....Tom Brady was home clicking...over and over clicking studying game film because in order to beat another team and to be successful. Like Ray said...he would do Brady picked the defense apart. Tom Brady was studying his opponents and how to create opportunities on the field by knowing where everyone was at. Listening to what Ray is saying will make u a better businessman and basically any other area in life because the motivation is to learn whatever you are involved in by the mastery of study and comprehension!

    The lesson about repetition, it also applies to your job, if you are treating it as a career.
    It looks like natural instinct if you can speak confidently to a group of suits on a board meeting talking about complex numbers and graphs, when in truth you were saying the same lines over and over into a mirror or someone else, days or weeks before.
    I'm currently looking for work, and I've learned this lesson after I've gone an failed most of my interviews. Either through fumbling or just forgetting my words. It's through failure, and also getting others' perspectives, that I get to see what I am lacking and where I need to improve.

    The video is wonderful, and I hope the kids realize how lucky they are. That said, those calling the Ravens defense the best ever might want to do some film study of their own. Lombardi's Packers had a total of seven Hall of Fame players, and there were at least six on the roster every year except 1962.

    The difference between the great and the good is that the great do it all. They master their body, they master their mind, they master the way they interact with the team. The great ones are always looking for the next advantage.

      The Goat Everyone?
      Every witness that testified (both sides of the fight, as well as neutral bystanders) stated that Lewis was trying to play peacemaker and get his entourage in the limo. He was very easy to see. He was wearing a mink coat and a lot of jewelry.
      Also, there were five witnesses that either saw Sweeting/Oakley “punching two men with knives in their hands” or heard them proclaim “i stabbed him” directly after.
      So who is this “everyone?”
      Oh, and let’s not forget the fact that Lewis’ two friends were acquitted for self defense. So no matter what, no murder took place. Only justified slayings.

    • @timjergans5792
      @timjergans5792 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Goat So you have no evidence to offer?
      I assume that you’re insinuating that Lewis got let off because he’s rich?
      The justice department already had enough evidence to charge Sweeting/Oakley. They just added the same charges to Lewis to pressure him into flipping on his friends to protect his career. Which is exactly what happened. Lewis was the key witness in the trial.
      In the legal realm, this is called “overcharging,” and is used somewhat frequently on the rich or famous (or anyone with something significant to lose).

    The greatest respect I just heard him say...If Peyton or Brady saw "YOU" out of position. That lets you know that these QBs were at the highest level of the mind game alone with them, pretty sure some others too, not mentioned. Me and my brother always said Peyton looked at the defense like it was geometry. He always threw the ball to spots before the defensive player could get to that assignment....Crazy huh!
    Now today's game is totally different, no more smash-mouth defenses, all offensive league now.
