  • Using our Peterbilt 337 with Century LCG12 rollback (tilt-tray) to recover and tow a Toyota Tundra after it barrel-rolled and landed on a fence in a ditch on a narrow county road. This was a tougher pull than it may appear. Thankfully, there were no injuries. Thanks for watching and God bless.

    The fact that there's no injuries in a roll over situation like this is a testament to modern safety standards. When they say they don't build 'em like the used to they are correct, for the better!

    • @MikeBrown-ii3pt
      @MikeBrown-ii3pt 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I gave your comment a like because you're correct saying that vehicles are built safer these days. However, drivers aren't AND manufacturers keep making more "distractions" available in these vehicles. There's definitely a problem here!

    • @user-nv3xx7jc5o

      Newer Toyota body-on-frame vehicles fare pretty well in crashes except for small overlap. You're more likely to lose your lower limbs in a Toyota body-on-frame vehicle than suffer other injuries.

    I like you optimism in your comes and lights catching people's attention. When I was in roadworks I remember it wasn't uncommon for people to miss all the signs cones and flashing lights on the big yellow trucks . One drove straight over top of the cones past me waving a stop sign at her and came skidding to a stop just short of running heading into one of our trucks, that was with signs spread out 300 meters down the road.

    Ron you are going to think I’m weird but last week my new Harley broke down, front injector stuck open. I called tow service and here he comes with a roll back. I had no idea how this was going to work.. He saw my face and he said relax I do this all the time.He explained how we were to load it and said you have to run the roll back, I have to stay on the bike. Needless to say I was thrilled. I learned from you, slow small moves, got it all set up and he looked at me and said, god dang looks like you did this before. We got it set up on the jiffy stand and tied down and in the cab I told him I watch your videos and he said he would check them out and I made a joke, I told him to get the tater and we’d go to work. He said he can’t go near it except swamping for the operator. Just something interesting during quarantine. Stay safe.

    I know it is a lot of extra work and if not possible I completely understand ( you provide us with such good content anyways! ) but I personally would appreciate maybe an extra un-cut style video of the regular one with the driving parts left in it ( Just like this one but make it two, one where the driving is cut out and one un-cut with the driving parts left in )
    I just enjoy watching you go places as much as I like the recovery part itself.
    Stay safe and protected during these hard times !
    Greetings from Germany :)

    I love your videos Ron. I especially like to watch where you put the chain to pull each car and truck out of the different positions they are in. When I was in high school I wanted to own a tow truck business. My childhood friend's brother had a very successful towing business, but he would not train me, because my dad, at the time, was a dentist. He saw me as competition and he was right I would have been competition if my friend's brother had trained me. But I love watching all the interesting tows and the trucks you own. I would say though, that Mike, one of your employees either needs more training or he doesn't seem to get it most of the time.

    On a serious note: I'm glad nobody was injured. I am inclined to agree with your theory in that it most likely rolled at least once or twice (as an EMR/FF I have seen this type of situation WAYYYY too many times). On a lighter note, at least this one didn't try to go for a swim unlike the one you and Mike had to fish out a while back
    God Bless and Stay Safe :)
