How do you open the bottom? I need to clean out the area between the LCD screen and the glass window.

Aw sorry cant help. I returned this to the owner a long time ago. If it comes back I would dig into that. A couple of people have shared interest with taking the bottom apart. Hopefully someone will do that and I would gladly link it in my video

I ended up attacking mine until I got it apart, I know its a few years late, but perhaps this will be useful for someone else: fosnez.blogspot.com/2024/07/dissassembly-of-breville-btm800xl-tea.html

I did this repair (using a thermal fuse to replace the unavailable cutout) then found it would boil and never shut off. I had to take the base apart (remove the 2 screws you can see, then pull off the 2 rubber feet furthest to the back and remove the 2 screws under them (there are no screws under the front feet) then take the base apart, remove the circuit board and replace the relay on the circuit board. (It's soldered in)
    Thanks for the great video!

Today seen in Germany about 70€ - the complete machine :-) but to repair it is quite more sustainable

Do you have any idea how to open the base? Mine has stopped making the usual beeping sound when the tea is ready, but everything else works as normal. I figured I could take a look and see if the speaker connection needs re-soldering.

The word “reset” keeps flashing on my Breville tea maker. I’ve tried turning it upside down and drying it out, but that doesn’t seem to help. Do you know how to fix this problem?

wire fuse is not blown- is there anything else I can try. I don't get any heat.

If you tested your fuse with a multimeter then next test the heating element for continuity
