5:15 When you kill Quartet, you'll hear a dialogue from one of the soldiers from a radio that is unable to contact him. You can also hear that when the time until emission runs out which shows how unprepared they were for this event.
The only one I never knew of was the last outpost in the NPP. The second guy, I never found him like that in my playthroughs but often I'd end up killing the guy on the way to the Dark Valley as he'd often chill with the other bandits by that structure not far from the Duty outpost. I thought it was pretty cool to have him not dressed in regular bandit gear, but I never knew of the ambush!
Yeah you get that mission from barkeep. Unfortunately I threw a grenade in that trailer not knowing who he was and sadly turned him into diet sausages.
@@solaire_of_the_east Same, did that the first time. Would've done that the second time but i ran out of rgd-5 so i had to go in. After finding out the truth i cracked open a can of beer and just sat there wondering if I was a evil monster
Did not know about the last military officer. The research institute also has one military officer albeit he is not "hidden". The pretend-to-be-wounded bandit often has bandits nearby to ambush you. A-Life sometimes makes them die. Monolith HQ also has Charon a unique Monolith who might be Scar from CS. I think with 150% resistance from 5 electro batteries you can survive the emission and help up the radiation damage forever. Forgot if emission is the impact or electric damage+radiation. But you can survive it and make the timer a nonissue. You could do a video about rare artifact locations like batteries, springs, etc.. And finish the combat chatters for all factions.
I didn't know about the military guy at the CNPP because I was worried of the emission timer, so I just booked it inside the sarcophagus every time in Shadow of Chernobyl, when I played Call of Chernobyl, the CNPP level was pretty empty with the exception of some monolith soldiers and mutants here and there, and I found that place thinking oh nice I've never explored this part of the level because of the timer in the original stalker but here I can explore the whole level without some bullshit emission killing me for exploring.
I knew about the bloodsucker one, the bandit trap, the master Monolithian, the hiding military stalker. I didn't know the officer was at the checkpoint (I never bothered the military much). I didn't know that Quartet actually existed as a stalker on the map! Someone else mentioned that there is apparently a radio sequence if you kill Quartet.
I kept forgetting where was the code for that stash in the lab, turns out it was in the northeastern entrance to another complex (not available in vanilla ShoC)... played the game numerous times, vanilla and mods, and almost always skip that place.
really good video, congrats for the channel and te content, one of the bests stalker channels around the world, keep posting i love your channel. Big cheers from brazil (sorry for the english)
2, 5 and 6 were news to me. Never encountered that NPC, nor did I ever know where to find the code to that door. I also never really did anything outside the Sarcophagus because I was always outrunning the blowout, and never really bothered to go back once the event was over.
1:30 i remember seing a red dot near the cordon entrance to the garbage, it turned out to be a disguised bandit that was heading to the concentration camp(or well, where Bes is @).
Жуткая ностальгия. Эти игры очень впечатляли в то время и по сей день в них чувствуется что то до боли знакомое и замечательное. Очень не хватает таких игр сейчас.
You forgot Charon, the Monolith leader. He is in Pripyat. Go to the last big building you have to pass in order to exit the area. It's full of Monolith soldiers. Find the room where a scrap construction is located, around which they kneel several of them. Around there there is a small staircase (if I recall correctly) going underground which will bring you face to face with him. I have played the game seven times, and it was only in the seventh one that I found him. I didn't know about the stash of the Monolith expert from the outpost and the military leaders outside the power plant. Now I have to play for the eighth time, as you imagine. Very nice video, spasiba! PS. In Yantar, in the facility above the entrance to the laboratory, if you keep kiΙΙing zombies, they keep coming out. I noticed that some of them are experts. Maybe there is something interesting about them too, but I haven't found anything untill now. I'll be cautious when I play it again.
There is also a hidden stash in Radar. If instead of turning to the right to antennas you go to the left, approaching a big concrete building with Monolith Sniper, you may later find three dead scientists called "Assistant". From one of them you will find a PDA with code to enter concrete building...with 3 medkits inside.
That goddamn military speaker is seared into my brain, the worst part is that I can't even understand the language, everytime I raid the base for weapons I just hear the same voiceline repeating over and over and over again driving me crazy, I still hear that voice even when I am not playing the game.
Idk if someone else mentioned this but in the south of the army warehouses there's a pond with a small house. In the house there's an npc named "crazy stalker from freedom" (or something like that).
I ran into all of these on my own just from exploration... except for the last one. Hard to explore when you're making a mad dash in the middle of hostile territory during an Emission
Never knew there is another road in Radar, the one with the master monolith. I'm playing gamma but I'll make a note of going there next time I'm in Radar.
Well, I didn't know about Checkpoint Commander, Gordon, and Kwartet. On my playthrough i picked up military PDA but never know there is a military outpost on NPP since i don't understand Cyrillic.
Oh, man, translate “Operation Monolith” - many people will like it, because not many could listen to it during the breakthrough to the Sarcophagus, but there is something to listen to and read there)
That's starting military base area I don't know if you know but when you clear out all the enemies there the military guys at night it'll be 3 Lieutenant / veterans patrolling it and if you killed him you can get it an 94 or call the obliterator
Just a quick question, you never did a video on clear sky jokes, right? I'm wondering if you're still going to make one. I remember when I was playing Anomaly one voice line stuck with me for so long of a clear sky screaming something like ,,...brothers help...'' in Russian.
