That looks so much like a Model T truck Jeremy, it would neat if you decided to put some driving power to it. It is cool either way! You take care and I'm looking forward to the next video.
That seems like what everyone here and all of you guys watching would like to see. I would like that too. Probably going to be what happens! Thanks for following along
When I first saw your scrap pile of old appliances, I thought "hell, he could build the "T" out of the sheet metal in those cabinets". I love working with it (except welding is difficult). I bought a sheet of 18 ga. for patch panels on a truck and that is a son of a gun to work with. You have done a good job of duplicating an old "T" truck, but if you don't. make it to drive, I agree with your wife about it being built for yard art.
@@ginfizz20 thanks for watching! I’m in the process of getting it to drive. I bought a sheet of 18 gauge for work on my 40 ford, there are videos of that as well. You are right, my break will barely bend it
Thanks for following along Gary! I think that will eventually happen, need a steering set up first thing, I’m thinking. Maybe Bryan has something laying around that I could build off of
I'm not sure if any model Ts ever had metal bodies. But I think it would look good wrapping the plywood in sheet metal. Could get extra videos by doing that. And even if plywood rotted away. It would still hold its form for years to come. Just a thought. But either way. Its definitely great yard decoration
The trucks had wooden cabs for quite awhile, towards the end they started making them out of metal. I can’t remember the year that they changed. I mentioned it in the first video, when it was fresh in my mind. Thanks for following along!
@@mywaymanufacturing2817 shouldnt be to difficult to fabricate a steering system using a straight axle and the drive system could be just a simple chain and clutch it is possible to use an automotive manual transmission and rear end key farm does this here on youtube quite often and theres other channels that have done it too one of the things i want to do is build a t bucket go cart but it be an actual full size fiber glass t bucket body
Re that comment on Rolls Royce; seems like more and more car companies are now wanting to restrict user serviceability in their new cars. It’s all about trying to control everyone.
years ago when my brother and i were messing with scrap we made bedsides from a futon just like that not sure if it was before or the futon but we even had some bedssides made from twin bed box springs

It looks good, Jeremy. Who knows what parts will turn up. it's ben a fun one to follow. Mart.
Glad to have ya following along Mart! I wasn’t sure when I started if anyone would watch these
you got me thinking of doing some thing like this to my old golf cart.
I think that might be fun to do!
Great video, I'm totally loving the project, I agree though, at this point you really should go the extra mile and make it drive.

Was Henry Ford a plumber before he started building cars.😅😅 as usual love the videos Jeremy.
The bodies were metal and the floors were wood.

It's starting to look so good that people driving by will stop and ask what year it is, and try to buy it.
Maybe if they do, I’ll sell it. Lol
OUTSTANDING!
Thanks for watching! I hope u been doing well
if you make the drive that would be pretty neat
I’m thinking about it pretty hard. It would be neat

That’s very true

That would have worked well. Worked for me as a tailgate. Didn’t lose any 😂
You can crank it up and go for a ride 👍🤣
I tried but the compression seems low
When your screw driver gets that badly worn, file it with a file and fix the end.
Having fun your way mfg😊😊😊😊
Thanks for watching!
