      @Case_ 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Apple Watches are usually among the most accurate trackers (like 90% accurate), but it's very unlikely you actually don't get any deep sleep. They're still consumer devices that only measure sleep stages indirectly, so inaccuracies will happen.
      Go to an actual sleep lab with medical equipment if you have any reasons to be concerned about your sleep (as in if you actually have health issues related to your sleep).

    Nice overview! I love the Fenix7 best wearable I've owned. I just hope Garmin makes non watch device like whoop that you can wear more easily to sleep with.

    "I've used 22 different sleep trackers and I'll share my thoughts on each one...but I won't be talking about data accuracy." Well, I mean, at least you say it up front to save people time.

    I wish there was an easy way to check the accuracy of these devices. From what I’ve seen, all of these wearables are in the range of 70-75% accurate when it comes to tracking sleep cycles which isn’t all that impressive. But most are accurate at tracking sleep totals. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Great overview and great video. 🙌

      Honestly same. Like a lot of people want to take health into their own hands because going to the doctors is too slow and too expensive. And so I wanna be able to accurately measure whether or not I'm waking through the night, and naps and to have some kind of data with it to determine if it's good sleep or not.

      What really sucks, is that the Amazon Halo View is actually insanely accurate, especially with sleep tracking and cycles, but now they've announced they're discontinuing it for some stupid reason and I have no idea what to get instead

      There's no easy way to reliably/accurately track sleep phases other than EEG. These devices essentially just try to guess your sleep phase based on indirect things like your movement or heart rate. 75% accuracy is pretty good. Some can reach 90%, but many are also lower than 70%. Until there's some kind of consumer EEG device, this is basically as good as it gets. Some small tweaks can happen as algorithms are improved, but don't expect miracles.

    I would not recommend Oura ring. After using Oura ring for more than 2 years I don’t think that this device is good value for your money. The battery lifespan is ~ 1 year, after my first ring battery died and after innumerable emails with Oura poor customer support team I got a replacement. ~1 year later the same problem happened and they do not provide any guarantee for it. If you consider the total cost and the membership on top you can get much better metrics and insights from many latest generation devices in the market and with better accuracy

    Hey Shervin, I’m currently using a gen 2 Oura ring that has been loaned to me to try and it’s been great.
    However, I find wearing my garmin more comfortable compared to the ring, but it’s rubbish at sleep tracking compared to the oura. The ring will detect naps automatically but my garmin requires you to manually place it in an out of sleep mode.
    This is where my interest in the Whoop comes in.
    Does the Whoop 4.0 detect sleep activity as easily as the Oura ring?
    Does the 4.0 also pick up the awake periods too, as I find that the oura ring is really good at doing this if my kids wake me in the middle of the night for 20mins.
    Sometimes my garmin won’t even realise I’m moving when it’s strapped snuggly to my wrist.
    Thanks for taking the time to help! 😊

      Did you get the whoop? Garmin sleep options makes me nuts. If you read in bed it'll think you are sleeping and you can't erase it, it won't redo sleep for the day. And naps aren't caught. Otherwise it's much better than fitbit.

      I am trying Whoop, I try to like the Garmin, but it doesn't know naps. Fitbit is better in that regard.
