I first saw Mickey in Pete’s dragon when I was 2 . In thoroughbred’s don’t cry I had my first crush when I was 9 years old. I had a best friend that was just like Mickey .

Mickey Rooney was a short man, he was 5 ft.2 in. In order to join the army during WW2, you had to be at least 5ft.9in.tall. He was short in stature, but tall in talent.
