Amazing +1 subscriber. Very good, very informative, I see lack of good subd workflow. Would be nice to see more about topology in subd. Please don't stop. :)
You actually don't have to remove them. However, if you push the center vertex out to the next vertex. They would be quads. Difference is how it is subdivided. Ngons= epole. Triquad = npole or a combo of both. Check the end results, turning optimize display off in the subd modifier.
I will probably watch this 2 or 3 times. Pure awesomeness

Awesome video
Not gonna lie, I was a little unsure about sub-d modeling, to the point I wasn't willing to even try. This video changed my mind. 🤙🏼
It's not that hard if you spend enough time practicing
Only 3/4 hours

I feel like a blender whore at this point. if I spent half the time doing blender as I did learning about blender oh lord kill me.
This is it. This is the workflow I can work with best. Very technical methodology.

So Before moving onto the Multi-Res Mod. UV Unwrap? Could you temporarily disable the mod, UV unwrap, then re-enable Multi-Res?
yes
Haha, damn that's an awesome model. 3-4 hours? Impressive.
Is this possible to do without any of the paid addons

What about the Ngons created when beveling edges, for example at 39:36? What is the best way to redirect the topology in those areas?
