Thanks for sharing! I grew up in SLP from 1982 through 2001 in the southwest area of town near Knollwood Mall. It was such a cool place to live as a kid and teen, with 3 parks within one block of my house and shopping areas close enough to ride my bike to, even as a grade schooler. I'd rent video games from Mr. Movies at Texa-Tonka or Blockbuster Video near Burger King, catch home run balls from within the middle of the four baseball fields at Aquila park, hunt for frogs and turtles at Minnehaha Creek, hang out at Knollwood Mall and play arcades at the Gold Mine arcade, sip on Orange Julius near the food court, and so many other great memories. After college I moved to the southern part of the state, then moved again to the Buffalo area in 2019, but on occasion, I'll dip into SLP for a quick tour down memory lane. A lot has changed, yet so much is very much still the same as it was when I was a kid.
