Dennis Daniels I really love the old buildings, I hope they don't overbuild all this modern stuff they're doing and destroy the character of the city. If you look at all the houses, you'll notice that they're all different from one another, each had its own unique style and design, unlike the modern suburban "cookie cutter" houses which all look exactly the same. The house I grew up in in South Minneapolis was built in the early 1920's and it's still there today. The houses are well constructed, they were built to last, unlike the disposable buildings of today constructed with cheap materials.

Minneapolis and St. Paul both have everything you need in a big city, but yet are small enough where you can get around easily. And if you want to get out into the sticks, you can get out of there really fast. Lots of great restaurants, great golf courses, lots of bicycle paths, and lots of lakes with great fishing. The winters are cold, but you can snowmobile and go ice fishing. Nice place. Also within an hour of Wisconsin, which is very beautiful.
