I like the no-nonsense production of this one. Straight in the car with no quasi-poetic hyperbole for build-up, real-time driving impressions, a direct comparison between the two, bosh. No excess fat.
If you could also upload a 30min video of just the engine sounds and nothing else as a bonus, I'd much appreciate that too!!

This is more like the old Chris Harris videos. Not the flashy, changing camera’s every half a second thing that top gear was doing and Harris was pushed into making. The cars speak for themselves and now you can just drink in their appearances, sound and the review of Mr Harris himself

Classic Harris one take style combined with the additional trust the manufacturers have in his abilities that allowed him to rip the Pro without assistance. The sound the Pro makes...🤯🤯🤯

I just wish they made beautiful road cars. None of the Aston Martins outside this hypercar is a looker, let alone a classic like DB9, DBS, etc. from the 2000s. The greatest thing about the Valkyrie is its engine. At a time when pretty much every other supercar-maker has transitioned to small, turbocharged engines, Aston Martin goes with a 6.5 liter, naturally aspirated V12. And it revs to 11,100 rpm. God bless them.
I honestly can't believe this engine even exists from an engineering perspective - a road legal engine that revs to 11,000 rpm is insane. It would be insane if they achieved that with a 4 or 6 cylinder engine, but getting 11,000 rpm - 185 rotations of the crankshaft every SECOND - from a 6.5 liter V12 with a warranty? That's miraculous.

as far as I know... the one-77 was primarily a super GT car... and the Valkyrie is WAY closer in DNA to the Vulcan.

Believe me in the case you mentioned many of the customers who would buy these only-track machines also would pay giant money to convert these cars to street legal ones as many do these days. Since not many of them are racing drivers or at least any decent drivers and for them such cars are just a symbol of status, invitation to hyper car clubs, just showing off, or a general opportunity to gain publicity. The Senna vs GT3 exercise was a clear case in point. No matter how much aero and horses you put on it, a road car is always compromised on track and a lap time car makes a horrible road car.
