    Omg…Thank you for explaining the “Expansion & Contraction phase”! I have 2a/2b hair texture and I’ve been loc’d for 10 months and absolutely NO ONE could explain why my hair kept looping and bunching. I actually got worried and combed a few of them out however I did find a loctician who knew how to two strand my hair tight enough to manage the bunching. It has definitely been a journey thus far but I’m super happy I did it and will never going back to straight hair.

    You have such a gift for clear explanation of what you’re talking about and showing it. Your content and the way you deliver it is priceless. One of the most beautiful things about locks is how unique they are to each person. Your hair looks AMAZING. perfect with all the “imperfections” you point out.❤

    Hey I had my dreads since 2018 and there are a couple questions I want to ask.
    The first one is that I was wondering if I can bring back my hairline, meaning I have the top of my head fully dread up to my hair Line, and I want to know if I need to cut those locs or could I combine the locs some how?
    Thes seond is that it seems like some of my loc that started thick are thinning, And I have to combind them. wht should I do to prevent my other loss from the same fate?

    Hey @Gunther I see you have a lot of locs meaning you have small sections in the base. I'm also thinking of separating around 10 of my dreads which have bigger sections, into smaller sections. Now I wanna ask if the small sections will compromise in long term (like more than 4-5 years). Will there be loc thinning, have to combine locs, or anything like that? Please let me know, thanks. 😊

    • @piemack9389
      @piemack9389 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      What’s ur hair type, if it’s type 4 u should be able to seperate them with no long term issues as long as you take care of them, if it’s type 3 though you may experience some issues especially if you try make the locs smaller than your curl pattern

    • @piemack9389
      @piemack9389 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nvm, u said u have 2b to 2c so it’s probably best that u don’t try do anything to ur locs especially if they’ve been loced for a while, u shouldn’t worry about thinning or seperation as those things really only effect 3c and above

    Hey @everyone greetings from India 💛 As for now I'm confused and I've got a question. So my hair type is around 2b-2c and my locs are around 6 months old as of now. I started my locs when my hairs were around 5 inches long and used crochet hook to make them dreads. Now recently I've been facing one problem, that is, my new growth is going all frizz and even if i use crochet hook on the roots, all the frizz comes backwithin like couple hours. Now I know frizz is common thing but my hairs are always MORE frizzy than the normal frizz.....I think my new growth goes away from my locs. Any suggestions on what should I do?
